रोमियों 1

1 यह पत्र पौलॉस की ओर से है, जो मसीह येशु का दास है, जिसका आगमन एक प्रेरित के रूप में हुआ तथा जो परमेश्वर के उस ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार के लिए अलग किया गया है,

Paul a seruant of Iesus Christ called to be an Apostle, put apart to preache the Gospel of God,

2 जिसकी प्रतिज्ञा परमेश्वर ने पहले ही अपने भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के द्वारा पवित्र अभिलेखों में की थी,

(Which he had promised afore by his Prophetes in the holy Scriptures)

3 जो उनके पुत्र के संबंध में थी, जो शारीरिक दृष्टि से दावीद के वंशज थे,

Concerning his Sonne Iesus Christ our Lord (which was made of the seede of Dauid according to the flesh,

4 जिन्हें, पवित्र आत्मा की सामर्थ्य से मरे हुओं में से जिलाए जाने के कारण, परमेश्वर का पुत्र ठहराया गया; वही अपना प्रभु येशु मसीह.

And declared mightily to be the Sonne of God, touching the Spirit of sanctification by the resurrection from the dead)

5 उन्हीं के द्वारा हमने कृपा तथा प्रेरिताई प्राप्‍त की है कि हम उन्हीं के लिए सभी गैर-यहूदियों में विश्वास करके आज्ञाकारिता प्रभावी करें,

By whom we haue receiued grace and Apostleship (that obedience might be giuen vnto ye faith) for his Name among al ye Gentiles,

6 जिनमें से तुम भी मसीह येशु के होने के लिए बुलाए गए हो.

Among whom ye be also the called of Iesus Christ:

7 यह पत्र रोम नगर में उन सभी के नाम है, जो परमेश्वर के प्रिय हैं, जिनका बुलावा पवित्र होने के लिए किया गया है. परमेश्वर हमारे पिता तथा प्रभु येशु मसीह की ओर से तुममें अनुग्रह और शांति बनी रहे.

To all you that be at Rome beloued of God, called to be Saints: Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.

8 सबसे पहले, मैं तुम सबके लिए मसीह येशु के द्वारा अपने परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता हूं क्योंकि तुम्हारे विश्वास की कीर्ति पूरे विश्व में फैलती जा रही है.

First I thanke my God through Iesus Christ for you all, because your faith is published throughout the whole world.

9 परमेश्वर, जिनके पुत्र के ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार का प्रचार मैं पूरे हृदय से कर रहा हूं, मेरे गवाह हैं कि मैं तुम्हें अपनी प्रार्थनाओं में कैसे लगातार याद किया करता हूं

For God is my witnesse (whom I serue in my spirit in the Gospel of his Sonne) that without ceasing I make mention of you

10 और विनती करता हूं कि यदि संभव हो तो परमेश्वर की इच्छा अनुसार मैं तुमसे भेंट करने आऊं.

Alwayes in my prayers, beseeching that by some meanes, one time or other I might haue a prosperous iourney by the will of God, to come vnto you.

11 तुमसे भेंट करने के लिए मेरी बहुत इच्छा इसलिये है कि तुम्हें आत्मिक रूप से मजबूत करने के उद्देश्य से कोई आत्मिक वरदान प्रदान करूं

For I long to see you, that I might bestowe among you some spirituall gift, that you might be strengthened:

12 कि तुम और मैं आपस में एक दूसरे के विश्वास द्वारा प्रोत्साहित हो जाएं.

That is, that I might be comforted together with you, through our mutuall faith, both yours and mine.

13 प्रिय भाई बहिनो, मैं नहीं चाहता कि तुम इस बात से अनजान रहो कि मैंने अनेक बार तुम्हारे पास आने की योजना बनाई है कि मैं तुम्हारे बीच वैसे ही उत्तम परिणाम देख सकूं जैसे मैंने बाकी गैर-यहूदियों में देखे हैं किंतु अब तक इसमें रुकावट ही पड़ती रही है.

Now my brethren, I would that ye should not be ignorant, how that I haue oftentimes purposed to come vnto you (but haue bene let hitherto) that I might haue some fruite also among you, as I haue among the other Gentiles.

14 मैं यूनानियों तथा बरबरों, बुद्धिमानों तथा निर्बुद्धियों दोनों ही का कर्ज़दार हूं.

I am detter both to the Grecians, and to the Barbarians, both to the wise men and vnto the vnwise.

15 इसलिये मैं तुम्हारे बीच भी—तुम, जो रोम नगर में हो—ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार सुनाने के लिए उत्सुक हूं.

Therefore, as much as in me is, I am readie to preach ye Gospel to you also that are at Rome.

16 ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार मेरे लिए लज्जा का विषय नहीं है. यह उन सभी के उद्धार के लिए परमेश्वर का सामर्थ्य है, जो इसमें विश्वास करते हैं. सबसे पहले यहूदियों के लिए और यूनानियों के लिए भी.

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God vnto saluation to euery one that beleeueth, to the Iewe first, and also to the Grecian.

17 क्योंकि इसमें विश्वास से विश्वास के लिए परमेश्वर की धार्मिकता का प्रकाशन होता है, जैसा कि पवित्र शास्त्र का लेख है: वह, जो विश्वास द्वारा धर्मी है, जीवित रहेगा.

For by it the righteousnesse of God is reueiled from faith to faith: as it is written, The iust shall liue by faith.

18 स्वर्ग से परमेश्वर का क्रोध उन मनुष्यों की अभक्ति तथा दुराचरण पर प्रकट होता है, जो सच्चाई को अधर्म में दबाए रहते हैं

For the wrath of God is reueiled from heauen against all vngodlinesse, and vnrighteousnesse of men, which withhold the trueth in vnrighteousnesse.

19 क्योंकि परमेश्वर के विषय में जो कुछ भी जाना जा सकता है, वह ज्ञान मनुष्यों पर प्रकट है—इसे स्वयं परमेश्वर ने उन पर प्रकट किया है.

Forasmuch as that, which may be knowe of God, is manifest in them: for God hath shewed it vnto them.

20 सच यह है कि सृष्टि के प्रारंभ ही से परमेश्वर के अनदेखे गुण, उनकी अनंत सामर्थ्य तथा उनका परमेश्वरत्व उनकी सृष्टि में स्पष्ट है और दिखाई देता है. इसलिये मनुष्य के पास अपने इस प्रकार के स्वभाव के बचाव में कोई भी तर्क शेष नहीं रह जाता. (aïdios g126)

For the inuisible things of him, that is, his eternal power and Godhead, are seene by ye creation of the worlde, being considered in his workes, to the intent that they should be without excuse: (aïdios g126)

21 परमेश्वर का ज्ञान होने पर भी उन्होंने न तो परमेश्वर को परमेश्वर के योग्य सम्मान दिया और न ही उनका आभार माना. इसके विपरीत उनकी विचार शक्ति व्यर्थ हो गई तथा उनके जड़ हृदयों पर अंधकार छा गया.

Because that when they knewe God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankefull, but became vaine in their thoughtes, and their foolish heart was full of darkenesse.

22 उनका दावा था कि वे बुद्धिमान हैं किंतु वे बिलकुल मूर्ख साबित हुए,

When they professed themselues to be wise, they became fooles.

23 क्योंकि उन्होंने अविनाशी परमेश्वर के प्रताप को बदलकर नाशमान मनुष्य, पक्षियों, पशुओं तथा रेंगते जंतुओं में कर दिया.

For they turned the glorie of the incorruptible God to the similitude of the image of a corruptible man, and of birdes, and foure footed beastes, and of creeping things.

24 इसलिये परमेश्वर ने भी उन्हें उनके हृदय की अभिलाषाओं की मलिनता के लिए छोड़ दिया कि वे आपस में बुरे कामों में अपने शरीर का अनादर करें.

Wherefore also God gaue them vp to their hearts lusts, vnto vncleannesse, to defile their owne bodies betweene themselues:

25 ये वे हैं, जिन्होंने परमेश्वर के सच का बदलाव झूठ से किया. ये वे हैं, जिन्होंने सृष्टि की वंदना अर्चना की, न कि सृष्टिकर्ता की, जो सदा-सर्वदा वंदनीय हैं. आमेन. (aiōn g165)

Which turned the trueth of God vnto a lie, and worshipped and serued the creature, forsaking the Creator, which is blessed for euer, Amen. (aiōn g165)

26 यह देख परमेश्वर ने उन्हें निर्लज्ज कामनाओं को सौंप दिया. फलस्वरूप उनकी स्त्रियों ने प्राकृतिक यौनाचार के स्थान पर अप्राकृतिक यौनाचार अपना लिया.

For this cause God gaue them vp vnto vile affections: for euen their women did change the naturall vse into that which is against nature.

27 इसी प्रकार स्त्रियों के साथ प्राकृतिक यौनाचार को छोड़कर पुरुष अन्य पुरुष के लिए कामाग्नि में जलने लगे. पुरुष, पुरुष के साथ ही निर्लज्ज व्यवहार करने लगे, जिसके फलस्वरूप उन्हें अपने ही शरीर में अपनी अपंगता का दुष्परिणाम प्राप्‍त हुआ.

And likewise also the men left the naturall vse of the woman, and burned in their lust one toward another, and man with man wrought filthinesse, and receiued in themselues such recompence of their errour, as was meete.

28 इसके बाद भी उन्होंने यह उचित न समझा कि परमेश्वर के समग्र ज्ञान को स्वीकार करें, इसलिये परमेश्वर ने उन्हें वह सब करने के लिए, जो अनुचित था, निकम्मे मन के वश में छोड़ दिया.

For as they regarded not to acknowledge God, euen so God deliuered them vp vnto a reprobate minde, to doe those things which are not conuenient,

29 उनमें सब प्रकार की बुराइयां समा गईं: दुष्टता, लोभ, दुष्कृति, जलन, हत्या, झगड़ा, छल, दुर्भाव, कानाफूसी,

Being full of all vnrighteousnesse, fornication, wickednes, couetousnes, maliciousnes, full of enuie, of murder, of debate, of deceit, taking all things in the euill part, whisperers,

30 दूसरों की निंदा, परमेश्वर से घृणा, असभ्य, घमंड, डींग मारना, षड़्‍यंत्र रचना, माता-पिता की आज्ञा टालना,

Backbiters, haters of God, doers of wrong, proude, boasters, inuenters of euil things, disobedient to parents,

31 निर्बुद्धि, विश्वासघाती, कठोरता और निर्दयता.

without vnderstanding, couenant breakers, without naturall affection, such as can neuer be appeased, mercilesse.

32 यद्यपि वे परमेश्वर के धर्ममय अध्यादेश से परिचित हैं कि इन सबका दोषी व्यक्ति मृत्यु दंड के योग्य है, वे न केवल स्वयं ऐसा काम करते हैं, परंतु उन्हें भी पूरा समर्थन देते हैं, जो इनका पालन करते हैं.

Which men, though they knew ye Lawe of God, how that they which comit such things are worthie of death, yet not onely do the same, but also fauour them that doe them.
