भजन संहिता 98

1 एक स्तोत्र. याहवेह के लिए एक नया गीत गाओ, क्योंकि उन्होंने अद्भुत कार्य किए हैं; उनके दायें हाथ तथा उनकी पवित्र भुजा ने जय प्राप्‍त की है.

A Melody. Sing to Yahweh, a song that is new, For, wonderful things, hath he done, His own right hand and his holy arm, have brought him salvation.

2 याहवेह ने राष्ट्रों पर अपना उद्धार तथा अपनी धार्मिकता परमेश्वर ने प्रकाशित की है.

Yahweh, hath made known, his salvation, Before the eyes of the nations, hath he revealed his righteousness;

3 इस्राएल वंश के लिए उन्होंने अपना करुणा-प्रेम तथा सच्चाई को भूला नहीं; पृथ्वी के छोर-छोर तक लोगों ने हमारे परमेश्वर के उद्धार को देख लिया है.

He hath remembered his lovingkindness and his faithfulness towards the house of Israel, —All the ends of the earth, have seen, the salvation of our God.

4 याहवेह के लिए समस्त पृथ्वी का आनंद उच्च स्वर में प्रस्तुत हो, संगीत की संगत पर हर्षोल्लास के गीत उमड़ पड़ें;

Shout aloud to Yahweh, all the earth, Break forth and make a joyful noise and sweep the strings;

5 सारंगी पर याहवेह का स्तवन करे, हां, किन्‍नोर की संगत पर मधुर धुन के गीत के द्वारा.

Sweep the strings to Yahweh, With the lyre, With the lyre, and the voice of melody;

6 तुरहियों तथा शोफ़ार के उच्च नाद के साथ याहवेह, हमारे राजा, के लिए उच्च स्वर में हर्षोल्लास का घोष किया जाए.

With trumpets and the sound of a horn, Shout aloud, before the king—Yahweh.

7 समुद्र तथा इसमें मगन सभी कुछ उसका हर्षनाद करें, साथ ही संसार और इसके निवासी भी.

Let the sea, roar, and the fulness thereof, The world, and they who dwell therein;

8 नदियां तालियां बजाएं, पर्वत मिलकर हर्षगान गाएं;

Let, the floods, clap their hands, Together, let, the mountains, make a joyful noise,

9 वे सभी याहवेह की उपस्थिति में गाएं, क्योंकि याहवेह आनेवाले हैं. पृथ्वी का न्याय करने के लिए वे आ रहे हैं. उनका न्याय धार्मिकता में पूर्ण होगा; वह मनुष्यों का न्याय अपनी ही सच्चाई के अनुरूप करेंगे.

Before Yahweh, for he is coming—to judge the earth, —He will judge the world, in righteousness, And the peoples, with equity.
