भजन संहिता 95
1 चलो, हम याहवेह के स्तवन में आनंदपूर्वक गाएं; अपने उद्धार की चट्टान के लिए उच्च स्वर में मनोहारी संगीत प्रस्तुत करें.
Come, let vs reioyce vnto the Lord: let vs sing aloude vnto the rocke of our saluation.
2 हम धन्यवाद के भाव में उनकी उपस्थिति में आएं स्तवन गीतों में हम मनोहारी संगीत प्रस्तुत करें.
Let vs come before his face with praise: let vs sing loude vnto him with Psalmes.
3 इसलिये कि याहवेह महान परमेश्वर हैं, समस्त देवताओं के ऊपर सर्वोच्च राजा हैं.
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King aboue all gods.
4 पृथ्वी की गहराइयों पर उनका नियंत्रण है, पर्वत शिखर भी उनके अधिकार में हैं.
In whose hande are the deepe places of the earth, and the heightes of the mountaines are his:
5 समुद्र उन्हीं का है, क्योंकि यह उन्हीं की रचना है, सूखी भूमि भी उन्हीं की हस्तकृति है.
To whome the Sea belongeth: for hee made it, and his handes formed the dry land.
6 आओ, हम नतमस्तक होकर आराधना करें, हम याहवेह, हमारे सृजनहार के सामने घुटने टेकें!
Come, let vs worship and fall downe, and kneele before the Lord our maker.
7 क्योंकि वह हमारे परमेश्वर हैं और हम उनके चराई की प्रजा हैं, उनकी अपनी संरक्षित भेड़ें. यदि आज तुम उनका स्वर सुनते हो,
For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheepe of his hande: to day, if ye will heare his voyce,
8 “अपने हृदय कठोर न कर लेना. जैसे तुमने मेरिबाह में किया था, जैसे तुमने उस समय बंजर भूमि में मस्साह नामक स्थान पर किया था,
Harden not your heart, as in Meribah, and as in the day of Massah in the wildernesse.
9 जहां तुम्हारे पूर्वजों ने मुझे परखा और मेरे धैर्य की परीक्षा ली थी; जबकि वे उस सबके गवाह थे, जो मैंने उनके सामने किया था.
Where your fathers tempted me, proued me, though they had seene my worke.
10 उस पीढ़ी से मैं चालीस वर्ष उदास रहा; मैंने कहा, ‘ये ऐसे लोग हैं जिनके हृदय फिसलते जाते हैं, वे मेरे मार्ग समझ ही न सके हैं.’
Fourtie yeeres haue I contended with this generation, and said, They are a people that erre in heart, for they haue not knowen my wayes.
11 तब अपने क्रोध में मैंने शपथ ली, ‘मेरे विश्राम में उनका प्रवेश कभी न होगा.’”
Wherefore I sware in my wrath, saying, Surely they shall not enter into my rest.
