भजन संहिता 94
1 याहवेह, बदला लेनेवाले परमेश्वर, बदला लेनेवाले परमेश्वर, अपने तेज को प्रकट कीजिए.
The Lord is a God of vengeance! God of vengeance, shine out!
2 पृथ्वी का न्यायाध्यक्ष, उठ जाइए; अहंकारियों को वही प्रतिफल दीजिए, जिसके वे योग्य हैं.
Stand up, judge of the earth, and pay back those who are proud what they deserve.
3 दुष्ट कब तक, याहवेह, कब तक आनंद मनाते रहेंगे?
How long, Lord? How long will the wicked celebrate in triumph?
4 वे डींग मारते चले जा रहे हैं; समस्त दुष्ट अहंकार में फूले जा रहे हैं.
How long will you let them pour out their arrogant words? How long will these evil people go on boasting?
5 वे आपकी प्रजा को कुचल रहे हैं, याहवेह; वे आपकी निज भाग को दुःखित कर रहे हैं.
Lord, they crush your people; they oppress those you call your own.
6 वे विधवा और प्रवासी की हत्या कर रहे हैं; वे अनाथों की हत्या कर रहे हैं.
They kill widows and foreigners; they murder orphans.
7 वे कहे जा रहे हैं, “कुछ नहीं देखता याहवेह; याकोब के परमेश्वर ने इसकी ओर ध्यान नहीं देते है.”
They say, “The Lord can't see what we're doing. Israel's God doesn't pay any attention to us.”
8 मन्दमतियो, थोड़ा विचार तो करो; निर्बुद्धियो, तुममें बुद्धिमत्ता कब जागेगी?
Take another look, you stupid people! Fools—when will you ever get the point?
9 जिन्होंने कान लगाए हैं, क्या वे सुनते नहीं? क्या वे, जिन्होंने आंखों को आकार दिया है, देखते नहीं?
Do you think the creator of the ear can't hear? Do you think the maker of the eye can't see?
10 क्या वे, जो राष्ट्रों को ताड़ना देते हैं, वे दंड नहीं देंगे? क्या वे, जो मनुष्यों को शिक्षा देते हैं, उनके पास ज्ञान की कमी है?
Do you think that the one who punishes nations won't punish you too? Do you think that the one who teaches human beings knowledge doesn't know anything?
11 याहवेह मनुष्य के विचारों को जानते हैं; कि वे विचार मात्र श्वास ही हैं.
The Lord knows the thoughts of human beings—he knows they are pointless.
12 याहवेह, धन्य होता है वह पुरुष, जो आपके द्वारा प्रताड़ित किया जाता है, जिसे आप अपनी व्यवस्था से शिक्षा देते हैं;
Those you discipline are happy, Lord; those you teach from your Law.
13 विपत्ति के अवसर पर आप उसे चैन प्रदान करते हैं, दुष्ट के लिए गड्ढा खोदे जाने तक.
You give them peace in days of trouble, until a pit is dug to trap the wicked.
14 कारण यह है कि याहवेह अपनी प्रजा का परित्याग नहीं करेंगे; वह कभी भी अपनी निज भाग को भूलते नहीं.
For the Lord will not give up on his people; he will not abandon his own.
15 धर्मियों को न्याय अवश्य प्राप्त होगा और सभी सीधे हृदय इसका अनुसरण करेंगे.
Justice will once again be based on what is right; those who are sincere will support it.
16 मेरी ओर से बुराई करनेवाले के विरुद्ध कौन खड़ा होगा? कुकर्मियों के विरुद्ध मेरा साथ कौन देगा?
Who came to my defense against the wicked; who stood up for me against those who do evil?
17 यदि स्वयं याहवेह ने मेरी सहायता न की होती, शीघ्र ही मृत्यु की चिर-निद्रा मेरा आवास हो गई होती.
If the Lord hadn't helped me, I would have soon gone down into the silence of the grave.
18 यदि मैंने कहा, “मेरा पांव फिसल गया है,” याहवेह, आपका करुणा-प्रेम मुझे थाम लेगा.
I shouted out, “My foot's slipping!” and your trustworthy love, Lord, kept me from falling.
19 जब मेरा हृदय अत्यंत व्याकुल हो गया था, आपकी ही सांत्वना ने मुझे हर्षित किया है.
When my mind was full of worries, you comforted me and encouraged me.
20 क्या दुष्ट शासक के आपके साथ संबंध हो सकते हैं, जो राजाज्ञा की आड़ में प्रजा पर अन्याय करते हैं?
Can unjust judges really be on your side, Lord, when their corrupt use of the law causes misery?
21 वे सभी धर्मी के विरुद्ध एकजुट हो गए हैं और उन्होंने निर्दोष को मृत्यु दंड दे दिया है.
They work together to destroy good people; they condemn those who are innocent to death.
22 किंतु स्थिति यह है कि अब याहवेह मेरा गढ़ बन गए हैं, तथा परमेश्वर अब मेरे आश्रय की चट्टान हैं.
But the Lord protects me like a fortress; my God is the rock that keeps me safe.
23 वही उनकी दुष्टता का बदला लेंगे, वही उनकी दुष्टता के कारण उनका विनाश कर देंगे; याहवेह हमारे परमेश्वर निश्चयतः उन्हें नष्ट कर देंगे.
He will turn the wickedness of evil people back upon them; he will destroy them because of their sins; the Lord our God will destroy them.
