भजन संहिता 91
1 वह, जिसका निवास सर्वोच्च परमेश्वर के आश्रय में है, सर्वशक्तिमान के छाया कुंज में सुरक्षित निवास करेगा.
Who so dwelleth in the secrete of the most High, shall abide in the shadowe of the Almightie.
2 याहवेह के विषय में मेरी घोषणा है, “वह मेरे आश्रय, मेरे गढ़ हैं, मेरे शरणस्थान परमेश्वर हैं, जिनमें मेरा भरोसा है.”
I will say vnto the Lord, O mine hope, and my fortresse: he is my God, in him will I trust.
3 वह तुम्हें सभी फंदे से बचाएंगे, वही घातक महामारी से तुम्हारी रक्षा करेंगे.
Surely he will deliuer thee from the snare of the hunter, and from the noysome pestilence.
4 वह तुम्हें अपने परों में छिपा लेंगे, उनके पंखों के नीचे तुम्हारा आश्रय होगा; उनकी सच्चाई ढाल और गढ़ हैं.
Hee will couer thee vnder his winges, and thou shalt be sure vnder his feathers: his trueth shall be thy shielde and buckler.
5 तुम न तो रात्रि के आतंक से भयभीत होगे, न ही दिन में छोड़े गए बाण से,
Thou shalt not be afraide of the feare of the night, nor of the arrowe that flyeth by day:
6 वैसे ही न उस महामारी से, जो अंधकार में छिपी रहती है, अथवा उस विनाश से, जो दिन-दोपहरी में प्रहार करता है.
Nor of the pestilence that walketh in the darkenesse: nor of the plague that destroyeth at noone day.
7 संभव है कि तुम्हारे निकट हजार तथा तुम्हारी दायीं ओर दस हजार आ गिरें, किंतु वह तुम तक नहीं पहुंचेगा.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and tenne thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come neere thee.
8 तुम स्वयं अपनी आंखों से देखते रहोगे और देखोगे कि कैसा होता है कुकर्मियों का दंड.
Doubtlesse with thine eyes shalt thou beholde and see the reward of the wicked.
9 याहवेह, आप, जिन्होंने सर्वोच्च स्थान को अपना निवास बनाया है, “मेरे आश्रय हैं.”
For thou hast said, The Lord is mine hope: thou hast set the most High for thy refuge.
10 कोई भी विपत्ति तुम पर आने न पाएगी और न कोई विपत्ति ही तुम्हारे मंडप के निकट आएगी.
There shall none euill come vnto thee, neither shall any plague come neere thy tabernacle.
11 क्योंकि वह अपने स्वर्गदूतों को तुम्हारी हर एक गतिविधि में तुम्हारी सुरक्षा का आदेश देंगे;
For hee shall giue his Angels charge ouer thee to keepe thee in all thy wayes.
12 वे तुम्हें अपने हाथों में उठा लेंगे, कि कहीं तुम्हारे पांव को पत्थर से ठोकर न लग जाए.
They shall beare thee in their handes, that thou hurt not thy foote against a stone.
13 तुम सिंह और नाग को कुचल दोगे; तुम पुष्ट सिंह और सर्प को रौंद डालोगे.
Thou shalt walke vpon the lyon and aspe: the yong lyon and the dragon shalt thou treade vnder feete.
14 यह याहवेह का आश्वासन है, “मैं उसे छुड़ाऊंगा, क्योंकि वह मुझसे प्रेम करता है; मैं उसे सुरक्षित रखूंगा, क्योंकि उसने मेरी महिमा पहचानी है.
Because he hath loued me, therefore will I deliuer him: I will exalt him because hee hath knowen my Name.
15 जब वह मुझे पुकारेगा, मैं उसे उत्तर दूंगा; संकट की स्थिति में मैं उसके साथ रहूंगा, उसे छुड़ाकर मैं उसका सम्मान बढ़ाऊंगा.
He shall call vpon me, and I wil heare him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliuer him, and glorifie him.
16 मैं उसे दीर्घायु से तृप्त करूंगा और मैं उसे अपने उद्धार का अनुभव कराऊंगा.”
With long life wil I satisfie him, and shew him my saluation.
