भजन संहिता 88
1 एक गीत. कोराह के पुत्रों की स्तोत्र रचना. संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. माहलाथ लान्नोथ धुन पर आधारित. एज़्रावंश हेमान का मसकील हे याहवेह, मेरे उद्धारकर्ता परमेश्वर; मैं दिन-रात आपको पुकारता रहता हूं.
A Song [or] Psalm for the sons of Korah, to the chief Musician upon Mahalath Leannoth, Maschil of Heman the Ezrahite. O LORD God of my salvation, I have cried day [and] night before thee:
2 मेरी प्रार्थना आप तक पहुंच सके; और आप मेरी पुकार सुनें.
Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave. (Sheol h7585)
4 मेरी गणना उनमें होने लगी है, जो कब्र में पड़े हैं; मैं दुःखी पुरुष के समान हो गया हूं.
I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man [that hath] no strength:
5 मैं मृतकों के मध्य छोड़ दिया गया हूं, उन वध किए गए पुरुषों के समान, जो कब्र में पड़े हैं, जिन्हें अब आप स्मरण नहीं करते, जो आपकी हितचिंता के योग्य नहीं रह गए.
Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
6 आपने मुझे अधोलोक में डाल दिया है ऐसी गहराई में, जहां अंधकार ही अंधकार है.
Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.
7 आपका कोप मुझ पर अत्यंत भारी पड़ा है; मानो मैं लहरों में दबा दिया गया हूं.
Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted [me] with all thy waves. (Selah)
8 मेरे निकटतम मित्रों को आपने मुझसे दूर कर दिया है, आपने मुझे उनकी घृणा का पात्र बना दिया है. मैं ऐसा बंध गया हूं कि मुक्त ही नहीं हो पा रहा;
Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: [I am] shut up, and I cannot come forth.
9 वेदना से मेरी आंखें धुंधली हो गई हैं. याहवेह, मैं प्रतिदिन आपको पुकारता हूं; मैं आपके सामने हाथ फैलाए रहता हूं.
Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
10 क्या आप अपने अद्भुत कार्य मृतकों के सामने प्रदर्शित करेंगे? क्या वे, जो मृत हैं, जीवित होकर आपकी महिमा करेंगे?
Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise [and] praise thee? (Selah)
11 क्या आपके करुणा-प्रेम की घोषणा कब्र में की जाती है? क्या विनाश में आपकी सच्चाई प्रदर्शित होगी?
Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? [or] thy faithfulness in destruction?
12 क्या अंधकारमय स्थान में आपके आश्चर्य कार्य पहचाने जा सकेंगे, अथवा क्या विश्वासघात के स्थान में आपकी धार्मिकता प्रदर्शित की जा सकेगी?
Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
13 किंतु, हे याहवेह, सहायता के लिए मैं आपको ही पुकारता हूं; प्रातःकाल ही मैं अपनी मांग आपके सामने प्रस्तुत कर देता हूं.
But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.
14 हे याहवेह, आप क्यों मुझे अस्वीकार करते रहते हैं, क्यों मुझसे अपना मुख छिपाते रहते हैं?
LORD, why castest thou off my soul? [why] hidest thou thy face from me?
15 मैं युवावस्था से आक्रांत और मृत्यु के निकट रहा हूं; मैं आपके आतंक से ताड़ना भोग रहा हूं तथा मैं अब दुःखी रह गया हूं.
I [am] afflicted and ready to die from [my] youth up: [while] I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.
16 आपके कोप ने मुझे भयभीत कर लिया है; आपके आतंक ने मुझे नष्ट कर दिया है.
Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off.
17 सारे दिन ये मुझे बाढ़ के समान भयभीत किए रहते हैं; इन्होंने पूरी रीति से मुझे अपने में समाहित कर रखा है.
They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together.
18 आपने मुझसे मेरे मित्र तथा मेरे प्रिय पात्र छीन लिए हैं; अब तो अंधकार ही मेरा घनिष्ठ मित्र हो गया है.
Lover and friend hast thou put far from me, [and] mine acquaintance into darkness.
