भजन संहिता 77
1 संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. यदूथून के लिए. आसफ का एक स्तोत्र. एक गीत. मैं परमेश्वर को पुकारता हूं—उच्च स्वर में परमेश्वर की दुहाई दे रहा हूं; कि वह मेरी प्रार्थना पर ध्यान दें.
To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph. I cried to God with my voice, even to God with my voice; and he gave ear to me.
2 अपनी संकट की स्थिति में, मैंने प्रभु की सहायता की कामना की; रात्रि के समय थकावट की अनदेखी कर मैं उनकी ओर हाथ बढ़ाए रहा किंतु, मेरे प्राण को थोडी भी सांत्वना प्राप्त न हुई.
In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.
3 परमेश्वर, कराहते हुए मैं आपको स्मरण करता रहा; आपका ध्यान करते हुए मेरी आत्मा क्षीण हो गई.
I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. (Selah)
4 जब मैं संकट में निराश हो चुका था; आपने मेरी आंख न लगने दी.
Thou holdest my eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
5 मेरे विचार प्राचीन काल में चले गए, और फिर मैं प्राचीन काल में दूर चला गया.
I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
6 जब रात्रि में मैं अपनी गीत रचनाएं स्मरण कर रहा था, मेरा हृदय उन पर विचार करने लगा, तब मेरी आत्मा में यह प्रश्न उभर आया.
I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with my own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.
7 “क्या प्रभु स्थाई रूप से हमारा परित्याग कर देंगे? क्या हमने स्थाई रूप से उनकी कृपादृष्टि खो दी है?
Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
8 क्या उनका बड़ा प्रेम अब पूर्णतः शून्य हो गया? क्या उनकी प्रतिज्ञा पूर्णतः विफल प्रमाणित हो गई?
Is his mercy wholly gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?
9 क्या परमेश्वर की कृपालुता अब जाती रही? क्या अपने क्रोध के कारण वह दया नहीं करेंगे?”
Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? (Selah)
10 तब मैंने विचार किया, “वस्तुतः मेरे दुःख का कारण यह है: कि सर्वोच्च प्रभु परमेश्वर ने अपना दायां हाथ खींच लिया है.
And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.
11 मैं याहवेह के महाकार्य स्मरण करूंगा; हां, प्रभु पूर्व युगों में आपके द्वारा किए गए आश्चर्य कार्यों का मैं स्मरण करूंगा.
I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
12 आपके समस्त महाकार्य मेरे मनन का विषय होंगे और आपके आश्चर्य कार्य मेरी सोच का विषय.”
I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.
13 परमेश्वर, पवित्र हैं, आपके मार्ग. और कौन सा ईश्वर हमारे परमेश्वर के तुल्य महान है?
Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
14 आप तो वह परमेश्वर हैं, जो आश्चर्य कार्य करते हैं; समस्त राष्ट्रों पर आप अपना सामर्थ्य प्रदर्शित करते हैं.
Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.
15 आपने अपने भुजबल से अपने लोगों को, याकोब और योसेफ़ के वंशजों को, छुड़ा लिया.
Thou hast with thy arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
16 परमेश्वर, महासागर ने आपकी ओर दृष्टि की, महासागर ने आपकी ओर दृष्टि की और छटपटाने लगा; महासागर की गहराइयों तक में उथल-पुथल हो गई.
The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
17 मेघों ने जल वृष्टि की, स्वर्ग में मेघ की गरजना गूंज उठी; आपके बाण इधर-उधर-सर्वत्र बरसने लगे.
The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thy arrows also went abroad.
18 आपकी गरजना का स्वर बवंडर में सुनाई पड़ रहा था, आपकी बिजली की चमक से समस्त संसार प्रकाशित हो उठा; पृथ्वी कांपी और हिल उठी.
The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
19 आपका मार्ग सागर में से होकर गया है, हां, महासागर में होकर आपका मार्ग गया है, किंतु आपके पदचिन्ह अदृश्य ही रहे.
Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.
20 एक चरवाहे के समान आप अपनी प्रजा को लेकर आगे बढ़ते गए. मोशेह और अहरोन आपके प्रतिनिधि थे.
Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
