भजन संहिता 70

1 संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. दावीद की रचना. अभ्यर्थना. हे परमेश्वर, कृपा कर मुझे उद्धार प्रदान कीजिए; याहवेह, तुरंत मेरी सहायता कीजिए.

To the Chief Musician. David’s. To call to Remembrance. [Be pleased] O God, to rescue me, O Yahweh, to help me—make haste.

2 वे, जो मेरे प्राणों के प्यासे हैं, लज्जित और निराश किए जाएं; वे जिनका आनंद मेरी पीड़ा में है, पीठ दिखाकर भागें तथा अपमानित किए जाएं.

Let them turn pale and then at once blush, Who are seeking my life, —Let them draw back, and be confounded, Who are taking pleasure in my misfortune;

3 वे सभी, जो मेरी स्थिति को देख, “आहा! आहा!” करते हैं! लज्जा में अपना मुख छिपा लें.

Let them turn back, on account of their own shame, Who are saying, Aha! Aha!

4 किंतु वे सभी, जो आपकी खोज करते हैं हर्षोल्लास में मगन हों; वे सभी, जिन्हें आपके उद्धार की आकांक्षा है, यही कहें, “अति महान हैं परमेश्वर!”

Let all them be glad and rejoice in thee, Yea, let them, who are seekers of thee, —say continually, God be magnified! Who are lovers of thy salvation.

5 मैं दरिद्र और दुःखी पुरुष हूं; परमेश्वर, मेरी सहायता के लिए विलंब न कीजिए. आप ही मेरे सहायक और छुड़ानेवाले हैं; याहवेह, विलंब न कीजिए.

But, I, being humbled and needy, O God, haste to me, —My help and my deliverer, art thou, O Yahweh do not tarry.
