भजन संहिता 66
1 संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. एक गीत. एक स्तोत्र. संपूर्ण पृथ्वी हर्षोल्लास में, परमेश्वर का जय जयकार करे!
To the Chief Musician. A Melodious Song. Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth;
2 परमेश्वर की महिमा के तेज का गुणगान करो; महिमा का भजन गाकर उनका स्तवन करो.
Praise ye in song the glory of his Name, Celebrate the glory of his praise:
3 परमेश्वर से कहो, “कैसे आश्चर्यजनक हैं आपके महाकार्य! ऐसी अतुलनीय है आपकी सामर्थ्य, कि आपके शत्रु आपके सामने संकुचित होकर झुक जाते हैं.
Say unto God—How fearful in thy doings, Through the abounding of thy power, shall thy foes come cringing unto thee;
4 संपूर्ण पृथ्वी आपके सामने नतमस्तक हो जाती है; सभी देश आपका स्तवन गान करते हैं, वे आपकी महिमा का स्तवन गान करते हैं.”
All the earth, shall bow themselves down to thee, And sing praises unto thee, Shall praise in song thy Name. (Selah)
5 आकर स्वयं देख लो कि परमेश्वर ने क्या-क्या किया है, कैसे शोभायमान हैं मनुष्य के हित में किए गए उनके कार्य!
Come and see the doings of God, —Fearful in deed toward the sons of men:
6 उन्होंने समुद्र को सूखी भूमि में बदल दिया, जब वे नदी पार कर रहे थे तो उनके पांव सूखी भूमि पर पड़ रहे थे. आओ, हम प्रभु में आनंद मनाएं.
He turned the sea into dry land, Through the stream, crossed they over on foot, There did we rejoice in him:
7 सामर्थ्य में किया गया उनका शासन सर्वदा है, सभी राष्ट्र उनकी दृष्टि में बने रहते हैं, कोई भी उनके विरुद्ध विद्रोह का विचार न करे.
Who ruleth, in his might, unto times age abiding, His eyes, over the nations, keep watch, The rebellious, let them not exalt themselves. (Selah)
8 सभी जातियों, हमारे परमेश्वर का स्तवन करो, उनके स्तवन का नाद सर्वत्र सुनाई दे;
Bless our God, O ye peoples, And cause to be heard, the sound of his praise; —
9 उन्होंने ही हमारे जीवन की रक्षा की है तथा हमारे पांवों को फिसलने से बचाया है.
Who hath set our soul among the living, And hath not suffered, our foot, to slip.
10 परमेश्वर, आपने हमारी परीक्षा ली; आपने हमें चांदी जैसे परिशुद्ध किया है.
For thou didst prove us, O God, Thou didst refine us, according to the refining of silver:
11 आपने हमें उलझन की परिस्थिति में डालकर, हमारी पीठ पर बोझ लाद दिए.
Thou didst bring us into the hunter’s net, Thou didst lay a load upon our loins;
12 आपने हमारे शत्रुओं को हमारे सिर कुचलते हुए जाने दिया; हमें अग्नि और जलधारा में से होकर जाना पड़ा, किंतु अंततः आपने हमें समृद्ध भूमि पर ला बसाया.
Thou didst let men ride at our head; We went into fire and into water, But thou didst bring us forth into freedom.
13 मैं आपके मंदिर में अग्निबलि के साथ प्रवेश करूंगा, और आपसे की गई अपनी प्रतिज्ञाएं पूर्ण करूंगा.
I will enter thy house with ascending-sacrifices, I will pay unto thee my vows,
14 वे सभी प्रतिज्ञाएं, जो विपत्ति के अवसर पर स्वयं मैंने अपने मुख से की थी.
Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, in my distress.
15 मैं आपको पुष्ट पशुओं की बलि अर्पण करूंगा, मैं मेढ़ों, बछड़ों और बकरों की बलि अर्पण करूंगा.
Ascending-sacrifices of fatlings, will I cause to ascend unto thee, With the perfume of rams, I will offer bulls, with he-goats. (Selah)
16 परमेश्वर के सभी श्रद्धालुओ, आओ और सुनो; मैं उन महाकार्य को लिखा करूंगा, जो मेरे हित में परमेश्वर द्वारा किए गए हैं.
Come! hearken—that I may recount, all ye reverers of God, What he hath done for my soul: —
17 मैंने उन्हें पुकारा, मेरे होंठों पर उनका गुणगान था.
Unto him—with my mouth, did I cry, And high praise was under my tongue.
18 यदि मैंने अपने हृदय में अपराध को संजोए रखकर, उसे पोषित किया होता, तो परमेश्वर ने मेरी पुकार न सुनी होती;
If, iniquity, I had cared for in my heart, My Lord, had not heard me!
19 किंतु परमेश्वर ने न केवल मेरी प्रार्थना सुनी; उन्होंने उसका उत्तर भी दिया है.
But in truth, God hath heard, He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 धन्य हैं परमेश्वर, जिन्होंने मेरी प्रार्थना सुनकर उसे अस्वीकार नहीं किया, और न मुझे अपने करुणा-प्रेम से छीन लिया!
Blessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, Nor his own lovingkindness from me.
