भजन संहिता 50
1 आसफ का एक स्तोत्र. वह, जो सर्वशक्तिमान हैं, याहवेह, परमेश्वर, सूर्योदय से सूर्यास्त तक पृथ्वी को संबोधित करते हैं.
“A psalm of Asaph.” The mighty God, Jehovah, speaketh, and calleth the earth, From the rising of the sun to its going down.
2 ज़ियोन के परम सौंदर्य में, परमेश्वर तेज दिखा रहे हैं.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shineth forth.
3 हमारे परमेश्वर आ रहे हैं, वह निष्क्रिय नहीं रह सकते; उनके आगे-आगे भस्मकारी अग्नि चलती है, और उनके चारों ओर है प्रचंड आंधी.
Our God cometh, and will not be silent; Before him is a devouring fire, And around him a raging tempest.
4 उन्होंने आकाश तथा पृथ्वी को आह्वान किया, कि वे अपनी प्रजा की न्याय-प्रक्रिया प्रारंभ करें.
He calleth to the heavens on high, And to the earth, while he judgeth his people:
5 उन्होंने आदेश दिया, “मेरे पास मेरे भक्तों को एकत्र करो, जिन्होंने बलि अर्पण के द्वारा मुझसे वाचा स्थापित की है.”
“Gather together before me my godly ones, Who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice!”
6 आकाश उनकी धार्मिकता की पुष्टि करता है, क्योंकि परमेश्वर ही न्यायाध्यक्ष हैं.
(And the heavens shall declare his righteousness, For it is God himself that is judge., Pause)
7 “मेरी प्रजा, मेरी सुनो, मैं कुछ कह रहा हूं; इस्राएल, मैं तुम्हारे विरुद्ध साक्ष्य दे रहा हूं, परमेश्वर मैं हूं, तुम्हारा परमेश्वर.
“Hear, O my people, and I will speak! O Israel, and I will testify against thee! For I am God, thine own God.
8 तुम्हारी बलियों के कारण मैं तुम्हें डांट नहीं रहा और न मैं तुम्हारी अग्निबलियों की आलोचना कर रहा हूं, जो नित मुझे अर्पित की जा रही हैं.
I reprove thee not on account of thy sacrifices; For thy burnt-offerings are ever before me.
9 मुझे न तो तुम्हारे पशुशाले से बैल की आवश्यकता है और न ही तुम्हारे झुंड से किसी बकरे की,
I will take no bullock from thy house, Nor he-goat from thy folds;
10 क्योंकि हर एक वन्य पशु मेरा है, वैसे ही हजारों पहाड़ियों पर चर रहे पशु भी मेरे ही हैं.
For all the beasts of the forest are mine, And the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 पर्वतों में बसे समस्त पक्षियों को मैं जानता हूं, मैदान में चलते फिरते सब प्राणी भी मेरे ही हैं.
I know all the birds of the mountains, And the wild beasts of the field are before me.
12 तब यदि मैं भूखा होता तो तुमसे नहीं कहता, क्योंकि समस्त संसार तथा इसमें मगन सभी वस्तुएं मेरी ही हैं.
If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; For the world is mine, and all that is therein.
13 क्या बैलों का मांस मेरा आहार है और बकरों का रक्त मेरा पेय?
Do I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats?
14 “परमेश्वर को धन्यवाद का बलि अर्पित करो, सर्वोच्च परमेश्वर के लिए अपनी प्रतिज्ञा पूर्ण करो,
Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay thy vows to the Most High!
15 तब संकट काल में मुझे पुकारो; तो मैं तुम्हारा उद्धार करूंगा और तुम मुझे सम्मान दोगे.”
Then call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me!”
16 किंतु दुष्ट से, परमेश्वर कहते हैं: “जब तुम मेरी शिक्षाओं से घृणा करते, और मेरे निर्देशों को हेय मानते हो?
And to the wicked God saith, “To what purpose dost thou talk of my statutes? And why hast thou my laws upon thy lips?—
17 तो क्या अधिकार है तुम्हें मेरी व्यवस्था का वाचन करने, अथवा मेरी वाचा को बोलने का?
Thou, who hatest instruction And castest my words behind thee!
18 चोर को देखते ही तुम उसके साथ हो लेते हो; वैसे ही तुम व्यभिचारियों के साथ व्यभिचार में सम्मिलित हो जाते हो.
When thou seest a thief, thou art in friendship with him, And hast fellowship with adulterers.
19 तुमने अपने मुख को बुराई के लिए समर्पित कर दिया है, तुम्हारी जीभ छल-कपट के लिए तत्पर रहती है.
Thou lettest loose thy mouth to evil, And thy tongue frameth deceit;
20 तुम निरंतर अपने ही भाई की निंदा करते रहते हो, अपने ही सगे भाई के विरुद्ध चुगली लगाते रहते हो.
Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; Thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
21 तुम यह सब करते रहे, किंतु मैं चुप रहा, और तुम यह समझते रहे कि मैं तुमसे सहमत हूं. किंतु मैं अब तुम्ही पर शासन करूंगा और तुम्हारे ही सम्मुख तुम पर आरोप लगाऊंगा.
These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; Hence thou thoughtest that I was altogether like thyself: But I will reprove thee, and set it in order before thine eyes.
22 “तुम, जो परमेश्वर को भूलनेवाले हो गए हो, विचार करो, ऐसा न हो कि मैं तुम्हें टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर नष्ट कर दूं और कोई तुम्हारी रक्षा न कर सके:
Mark this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and none deliver you!
23 जो कोई मुझे धन्यवाद की बलि अर्पित करता है, मेरा सम्मान करता है, मैं उसे, जो सन्मार्ग का आचरण करता है, परमेश्वर के उद्धार का अनुभव करवाऊंगा.”
Whoso offereth praise honoreth me; And to him who hath regard to his ways Will I show salvation from God.”
