भजन संहिता 5

1 संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. बांसुरी वाद्यों के लिए. दावीद का एक स्तोत्र. याहवेह, मेरे वचनों पर ध्यान दें, मेरे शब्दों की आहों पर विचार करें.

To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my (meditation)

2 मेरे परमेश्वर, मेरे राजा, सहायता के लिए मेरी पुकार पर ध्यान दें, क्योंकि याहवेह, मेरी यह प्रार्थना आपसे है.

Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

3 याहवेह, आप प्रातःकाल मेरी वाणी सुनेंगे; सूर्योदय के समय मैं आपको बलि अर्पित करूंगा और आपके प्रत्युत्तर की प्रतीक्षा करूंगा.

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct [my prayer] unto thee, and will look up.

4 निःसंदेह आप वह परमेश्वर नहीं, जो दुष्टता का समर्थन करें; वस्तुतः बुराई आपके साथ नहीं रह सकती.

For thou [art] not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5 घमंडी आपकी उपस्थिति में ठहर नहीं सकते, दुष्ट आपके लिए घृणास्पद हैं;

The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

6 झूठ बोलने वालों का आप विनाश करते हैं. हत्यारों और धूर्तों से, याहवेह, को घृणा है.

Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

7 किंतु आपके, अपार प्रेम के बाहुल्य के परिणामस्वरूप मैं, आपके आवास में प्रवेश कर सकूंगा; पूर्ण श्रद्धा में झुककर मैं आपके पवित्र मंदिर में आराधना करूंगा.

But as for me, I will come [into] thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: [and] in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

8 याहवेह, मेरे शत्रुओं के कारण अपने धर्ममय मार्ग पर मेरी अगुवाई करें; मेरे आगे-आगे अपने सीधे मार्ग को दिखा.

Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

9 मेरे शत्रुओं का एक भी शब्द सच्चा नहीं है; उनके हृदय बुराई से भरे हैं. उनका गला खुली हुई कब्र समान है; उनकी जीभ चिकनी-चुपड़ी बातें करती है.

For [there is] no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part [is] very wickedness; their throat [is] an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

10 प्रभु परमेश्वर! आप उन पर दंड-आज्ञा प्रसारित करें, कि अपनी ही युक्तियों के जाल में फंसकर उनका नाश हो जाए, उनके अपराधों की अधिकता के कारण आप उन्हें अपनी उपस्थिति से दूर करें, क्योंकि उन्होंने आपके विरुद्ध बलवा किया है.

Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

11 आनंदित हों आपके सभी शरणागत; सदैव हो उनका आनंद. आप उन्हें सुरक्षित रखें, जो आपसे प्रेम रखते हैं, वे सदैव उल्‍लसित रहें.

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

12 याहवेह, धर्मियों पर आपकी कृपादृष्टि बनी रहती है; आप अपने अनुग्रह में उन्हें ढाल के समान सुरक्षा प्रदान करते हैं.

For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as [with] a shield.
