भजन संहिता 46

1 संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. कोराह के पुत्रों की रचना. अलामोथ धुन पर आधारित. एक गीत. परमेश्वर हमारे आश्रय-स्थल एवं शक्ति हैं, संकट की स्थिति में सदैव उपलब्ध सहायक.

To the Chief Musician. For the Sons of Korah, on Alamoth. A Song. God—for us, is a refuge and strength, A help in distresses, soon found.

2 तब हम भयभीत न होंगे, चाहे पृथ्वी विस्थापित हो जाए, चाहे पर्वत महासागर के गर्भ में जा पड़ें,

For this cause, will we not fear, Though the earth showeth change, Or the mountains slip into the heart of the seas:

3 हां, तब भी जब समुद्र गरजना करते हुए फेन उठाने लगें और पर्वत इस उत्तेजना के कारण थर्रा जाएं.

The waters thereof roar and foam, The mountains tremble with the swelling thereof (Selah)

4 परमेश्वर के नगर में एक नदी है, जिसकी जलधारा में इस नगर का उल्लास है, यह नगर वह पवित्र स्थान है, जहां सर्वोच्च परमेश्वर निवास करते हैं.

A river! whose channels, shall gladden the city of God, The Most High, hath hallowed his habitation.

5 परमेश्वर इस नगर में निवास करते हैं, इस नगर की क्षति न होगी; हर एक अरुणोदय में उसके लिए परमेश्वर की सहायता मिलती रहेगी.

God, is in the midst of her, she shall not be shaken, God will help her, by the turnings of the morning.

6 राष्ट्रों में खलबली मची हुई है, राज्य के लोग डगमगाने लगे; परमेश्वर के एक आह्वान पर, पृथ्वी पिघल जाती है.

Nations have roared, Kingdoms have tottered, He hath uttered his voice, Earth melteth.

7 सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह हमारे पक्ष में हैं; याकोब के परमेश्वर में हमारी सुरक्षा है.

Yahweh of hosts, is with us, A high tower for us, is the God of Jacob. (Selah)

8 यहां आकर याहवेह के कार्यों पर विचार करो, पृथ्वी पर उन्होंने कैसा विध्वंस किया है.

Come! view the doings of Yahweh, —Who hath set desolations in the earth;

9 उन्हीं के आदेश से पृथ्वी के छोर तक युद्ध थम जाते हैं. वही धनुष को भंग और भाले को टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर देते हैं; वह रथों को अग्नि में भस्म कर देते हैं.

Causing wars to cease unto the end of the earth, —The bow, he shivereth, And breaketh in pieces the spear, war-chariots, burneth he up with fire.

10 परमेश्वर कहते हैं, “समस्त प्रयास छोड़कर यह समझ लो कि परमेश्वर मैं हूं; समस्त राष्ट्रों में मेरी महिमा होगी, समस्त पृथ्वी पर मेरी महिमा होगी.”

Let be! and know that, I, am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

11 सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह हमारे पक्ष में हैं; याकोब के परमेश्वर में हमारी सुरक्षा है.

Yahweh of hosts, is with us, A high tower for us, is the God of Jacob. (Selah)
