भजन संहिता 45
1 संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. “कुमुदिनी” धुन पर आधारित. कोराह के पुत्रों की रचना. एक मसकील. एक विवाह गीत. राजा के सम्मान में कविता पाठ करते हुए मेरे हृदय में मधुर भाव उमड़ रहा हैं; मेरी जीभ कुशल लेखक की लेखनी बन गई है.
In my inner being I am stirred by a beautiful message which will be sung to the king. The words of this message will be written with a pen by me, a skilled writer.
2 आप ही पुरुषों में सर्वश्रेष्ठ हैं, आपके होंठों में अनुग्रह भरा होता है, क्योंकि स्वयं परमेश्वर द्वारा आपको सदैव के लिए आशीषित किया गया है.
[O King], you are the most handsome man in the world, and you always speak [MTY] eloquently, because God has always blessed you.
3 परमवीर योद्धा, तलवार से सुसज्जित हो जाइए; ऐश्वर्य और तेज धारण कर लीजिए.
You who are a mighty warrior, put on your sword! You are glorious and majestic.
4 सत्य, विनम्रता तथा धार्मिकता की रक्षा करते हुए, आपके समृद्ध यश में, ऐश्वर्य के साथ अपने अश्व पर सवार हो जाइए! आपका दायां हाथ अद्भुत कार्य कर दिखाए!
Ride on like a great chief to defend the truth that you speak and the fair decisions that you make! Because you are strong [MTY], you will do awesome deeds.
5 आपके तीक्ष्ण बाण राजा के शत्रुओं के हृदय बेध दें; राष्ट्र आपसे नाश हो आपके चरणों में गिर पड़ें.
Your arrows are sharp, and they pierce the hearts of your enemies. Soldiers of many nations will fall dead at your feet.
6 परमेश्वर, आपका सिंहासन अमर है; आपके राज्य का राजदंड वही होगा, जो सच्चाई का राजदंड है.
The kingdom [MTY] that God will give to you will remain forever. You rule [MTY] people justly.
7 धार्मिकता आपको प्रिय है तथा दुष्टता घृणास्पद; यही कारण है कि परमेश्वर, आपके परमेश्वर ने हर्ष के तेल से आपको अभिषिक्त करके आपके समस्त साथियों से ऊंचे स्थान पर बसा दिया है.
You love right actions, and you hate evil actions. Therefore God, your God, has chosen [MTY] you [to be king] and caused you to be happier [MET] than any other king.
8 आपके सभी वस्त्र गन्धरस, अगरू तथा तेजपात से सुगंधित किए गए हैं; हाथी-दांत से जड़ित राजमहल से मधुर तन्तु वाद्यों का संगीत आपको मगन करता रहता है.
The perfume of various spices is on your robes. [People] (entertain you/make you happy) in ivory palaces by playing stringed instruments.
9 आपके राज्य में आदरणीय स्त्रियों के पद पर राजकुमारियां हैं; आपके दायें पक्ष में ओफीर राज्य के कुन्दन से सजी राज-वधू विराजमान हैं.
Among the women who stay near you [EUP] stay are daughters of [other] kings. And at your right hand stands [your bride], the queen, wearing beautiful ornaments of gold that comes from Ophir.
10 राजकन्या, सुनिए, ध्यान दीजिए और विचार कीजिए: अब आपका राज्य और आपके पिता का परिवार प्राचीन काल का विषय हो गया.
[Now I will say something] to your bride: Listen to me carefully [DOU]! Forget the people who live in your home country, forget your relatives!
11 तब महाराज आपके सौंदर्य की कामना करेंगे; क्योंकि वह आपके स्वामी हैं, अब आप उनके सामने नतमस्तक हों.
Because you are [very], the king will desire [to sleep with] [EUP] you. He is your master, so you must obey him.
12 सोर देश की राजकन्या उपहार लेकर आएंगी, धनी पुरुष आपकी कृपादृष्टि की कामना करेंगे.
The people from Tyre [city] will bring gifts to you; their rich people will try to persuade you to do favors for them.
13 अंतःपुर में राजकन्या ने भव्य शृंगार किया है; उसके वस्त्र पर सोने के धागों से कढ़ाई की गई है.
[O king], your bride will be entering the palace wearing beautiful robes made from gold thread.
14 कढ़ाई किए गए वस्त्र धारण किए हुए उन्हें राजा के निकट ले जाया जा रहा है; उनके पीछे कुंवारी वधू सहेलियों की पंक्तियां चल रही हैं, यह समूह अब आपके निकट पहुंच रहा है.
While she is wearing a gown that has many colors, her companions will lead her to you. She will have many other young women who accompany her.
15 ये सभी आनंद एवं उल्लास के भाव में यहां आ पहुंचे हैं, अब उन्होंने राजमहल में प्रवेश किया है.
They will be very joyful [DOU] as they are led along to enter your palace.
16 आपके पुत्र पूर्वजों के स्थान पर होंगे; आप उन्हें समस्त देश के शासक बना देंगे.
Some day, your sons and your grandsons will become kings, just like your ancestors were. You will enable them to become rulers in many countries [HYP].
17 सभी पीढ़ियों के लिए मैं आपकी महिमा सजीव रखूंगा; तब समस्त राष्ट्र सदा-सर्वदा आपका धन्यवाद करेंगे.
And as for me, I will enable people in every generation to remember the great things that you [MTY] have done, and people will praise you forever.
