भजन संहिता 43

1 परमेश्वर, मुझे निर्दोष प्रमाणित कीजिए, श्रद्धाहीन पीढ़ी के विरुद्ध मेरे पक्ष में निर्णय दीजिए. मुझे झूठ बोलने वालों से एवं दुष्ट लोगों से मुक्त कीजिए.

Judge me, O God! and defend my cause against a merciless nation! Deliver me from unjust and deceitful men!

2 क्योंकि आप वह परमेश्वर हैं, जिनमें मेरा बल है. आप मुझे भूल क्यों गए? मेरे शत्रुओं द्वारा दी जा रही यातनाओं के कारण, मुझे शोकित क्यों होना पड़ रहा है?

Thou art the God of my refuge: why dost thou cast me off? Why go I mourning on account of the oppression of the enemy?

3 अपनी ज्योति तथा अपना सत्य भेज दीजिए, उन्हें ही मेरी अगुवाई करने दीजिए; कि मैं आपके पवित्र पर्वत तक पहुंच सकूं, जो आपका आवास है.

O send forth thy light and thy truth; let them guide me; Let them lead me to thy holy mountain, and to thy dwelling-place!

4 तब मैं परमेश्वर की वेदी के निकट जा सकूंगा, वही परमेश्वर, जो मेरे परमानंद हैं. तब परमेश्वर, मेरे परमेश्वर, मैं किन्‍नोर की संगत पर आपकी वंदना करूंगा.

Then will I go to the altar of God, To the God of my joy and exultation; Yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God!

5 मेरे प्राण, तुम ऐसे खिन्‍न क्यों हो? क्यों मेरे हृदय में तुम ऐसे व्याकुल हो गए हो? परमेश्वर पर भरोसा रखो, क्योंकि यह सब होते हुए भी मैं याहवेह का स्तवन करूंगा.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, Him, my deliverer and my God!
