भजन संहिता 34
1 दावीद की रचना. जब दावीद ने राजा अबीमेलेक के सामने पागल होने का स्वांग रचा था और अबीमेलेक ने उन्हें बाहर निकाल दिया जिससे वह वहां से पलायन कर सके थे. हर एक स्थिति में मैं याहवेह को योग्य कहता रहूंगा; मेरे होंठों पर उनकी स्तुति-प्रशंसा के उद्गार सदैव ही बने रहेंगे.
To Dauid, whanne he chaungide his mouth bifor Abymalech, and he `droof out Dauid, `and he yede forth. I schal blesse the Lord in al tyme; euere his heriyng is in my mouth.
2 मेरी आत्मा याहवेह में गर्व करती है; पीड़ित यह सुनें और उल्लसित हों.
Mi soule schal be preisid in the Lord; mylde men here, and be glad.
3 मेरे साथ याहवेह का गुणगान करो; हम सब मिलकर याहवेह की महिमा को ऊंचा करें.
Magnyfie ye the Lord with me; and enhaunse we his name into it silf.
4 मैंने याहवेह से प्रार्थना की और उन्होंने प्रत्युत्तर दिया; उन्होंने मुझे सब प्रकार के भय से मुक्त किया.
I souyte the Lord, and he herde me; and he delyueride me fro alle my tribulaciouns.
5 जिन्होंने उनसे अपेक्षा की, वे उल्लसित ही हुए; इसमें उन्हें कभी लज्जित न होना पड़ा.
Neiye ye to him, and be ye liytned; and youre faces schulen not be schent.
6 इस दुःखी पुरुष ने सहायता के लिए पुकारा और याहवेह ने प्रत्युत्तर दिया; उन्होंने उसे उसके समस्त संकटों से छुड़ा लिया है.
This pore man criede, and the Lord herde hym; and sauyde hym fro alle hise tribulaciouns.
7 याहवेह का दूत उनके श्रद्धालुओं के चारों ओर उनकी चौकसी करता रहता है और उनको बचाता है.
The aungel of the Lord sendith in the cumpas of men dredynge hym; and he schal delyuere hem.
8 स्वयं चखकर देख लो कि कितने भले हैं याहवेह; कैसा धन्य है वे, जो उनका आश्रय लेते हैं.
Taaste ye, and se, for the Lord is swete; blessid is the man, that hopith in hym.
9 सभी भक्तो, याहवेह के प्रति श्रद्धा रखो. जो उन पर श्रद्धा रखते हैं, उन्हें कोई भी घटी नहीं होती.
Alle ye hooli men of the Lord, drede hym; for no nedynesse is to men dredynge hym.
10 युवा सिंह दुर्बल हो सकते हैं और वे भूखे भी रह जाते हैं, किंतु जो याहवेह के खोजी हैं, उन्हें किसी उपयुक्त वस्तु की घटी नहीं होगी.
Riche men weren nedi, and weren hungri; but men that seken the Lord schulen not faile of al good.
11 मेरे बालको, निकट आकर ध्यान से सुनो; मैं तुम्हें याहवेह के प्रति श्रद्धा सिखाऊंगा.
Come, ye sones, here ye me; Y schal teche you the drede of the Lord.
12 तुममें से जिस किसी को जीवन के मूल्य का बोध है और जिसे सुखद दीर्घायु की आकांक्षा है,
Who is a man, that wole lijf; loueth to se good daies?
13 वह अपनी जीभ को बुरा बोलने से तथा अपने होंठों को झूठ से मुक्त रखे;
Forbede thi tunge fro yuel; and thi lippis speke not gile.
14 बुराई में रुचि लेना छोड़कर परोपकार करे; मेल-मिलाप का यत्न करे और इसी के लिए पीछा करे.
Turne thou awei fro yuel, and do good; seke thou pees, and perfitli sue thou it.
15 क्योंकि याहवेह की दृष्टि धर्मियों पर तथा उनके कान उनकी विनती पर लगे रहते हैं,
The iyen of the Lord ben on iust men; and hise eeren ben to her preiers.
16 परंतु याहवेह बुराई करनेवालों से दूर रहते हैं; कि उनका नाम ही पृथ्वी से मिटा डालें.
But the cheer of the Lord is on men doynge yuels; that he leese the mynde of hem fro erthe.
17 धर्मी की पुकार को याहवेह अवश्य सुनते हैं; वह उन्हें उनके संकट से छुड़ाते हैं.
Just men cryeden, and the Lord herde hem; and delyueride hem fro alle her tribulaciouns.
18 याहवेह टूटे हृदय के निकट होते हैं, वह उन्हें छुड़ा लेते हैं, जो आत्मा में पीसे हुए है.
The Lord is nyy hem that ben of troblid herte; and he schal saue meke men in spirit.
19 यह संभव है कि धर्मी पर अनेक-अनेक विपत्तियां आ पड़ें, किंतु याहवेह उसे उन सभी से बचा लेते हैं;
Many tribulaciouns ben of iust men; and the Lord schal delyuere hem fro alle these.
20 वह उसकी हर एक हड्डी को सुरक्षित रखते हैं, उनमें से एक भी नहीं टूटती.
The Lord kepith alle the boonys of hem; oon of tho schal not be brokun.
21 दुष्टता ही दुष्ट की मृत्यु का कारण होती है; धर्मी के शत्रु दंडित किए जाएंगे.
The deth of synneris is werst; and thei that haten a iust man schulen trespasse.
22 याहवेह अपने सेवकों को छुड़ा लेते हैं; जो कोई उनमें आश्रय लेता है, वह दोषी घोषित नहीं किया जाएगा.
The Lord schal ayenbie the soulis of hise seruauntis; and alle, that hopen in him, schulen not trespasse.
