भजन संहिता 25
1 दावीद की रचना. याहवेह, मैंने आप पर अपनी आत्मा समर्पित की है.
Unto the end, a psalm for David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
2 मेरे परमेश्वर, मैंने आप पर भरोसा किया है; मुझे लज्जित होने न दीजिए, और न मेरे शत्रु मेरा पीछा करने पाएं.
In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed.
3 कोई भी, जिसने आप पर अपनी आशा रखी है लज्जित कदापि नहीं किया जा सकता, लज्जित वे किए जाएंगे, जो विश्वासघात करते हैं.
Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded.
4 याहवेह, मुझे अपने मार्ग दिखा, मुझे अपने मार्गों की शिक्षा दीजिए.
Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.
5 अपने सत्य की ओर मेरी अगुवाई कीजिए और मुझे शिक्षा दीजिए, क्योंकि आप मेरे छुड़ानेवाले परमेश्वर हैं, दिन भर मैं आपकी ही प्रतीक्षा करता रहता हूं.
Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long.
6 याहवेह, अपनी असीम दया तथा अपने करुणा-प्रेम का स्मरण कीजिए, जो अनंत काल से होते आए हैं.
Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy mercies that are from the beginning of the world.
7 युवावस्था में किए गए मेरे अपराधों का तथा मेरे हठीले आचरण का लेखा न रखिए; परंतु, याहवेह, अपनी करुणा में मेरा स्मरण रखिए, क्योंकि याहवेह, आप भले हैं!
The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember. According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.
8 याहवेह भले एवं सत्य हैं, तब वह पापियों को अपनी नीतियों की शिक्षा देते हैं.
The Lord is sweet and righteous: therefore he will give a law to sinners in the way.
9 विनीत को वह धर्ममय मार्ग पर ले चलते हैं, तथा उसे अपने मार्ग की शिक्षा देते हैं.
He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek his ways.
10 जो याहवेह की वाचा एवं व्यवस्था का पालन करते हैं, उनके सभी मार्ग उनके लिए प्रेमपूर्ण एवं विश्वासयोग्य हैं.
All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them that seek after his covenant and his testimonies.
11 याहवेह, अपनी महिमा के निमित्त, मेरा अपराध क्षमा करें, यद्यपि मेरा अपराध घोर है.
For thy name’s sake, O Lord, thou wilt pardon my sin: for it is great.
12 तब कौन है वह मनुष्य, जो याहवेह से डरता है? याहवेह उस पर वह मार्ग प्रकट करेंगे, जिस पर उसका चलना भला है.
Who is the man that feareth the Lord? He hath appointed him a law in the way he hath chosen.
13 तब समृद्ध होगा उसका जीवन, और उसकी सन्तति उस देश पर शासन करेगी.
His soul shall dwell in good things: and his seed shall inherit the land.
14 अपने श्रद्धालुओं पर ही याहवेह अपने रहस्य प्रकाशित करते हैं; उन्हीं पर वह अपनी वाचा प्रगट करते हैं.
The Lord is a firmament to them that fear him: and his covenant shall be made manifest to them.
15 मेरी आंखें एकटक याहवेह को देख रहीं हैं, क्योंकि वही मेरे पैरों को फंदे से मुक्त करेंगे.
My eyes are ever towards the Lord: for he shall pluck my feet out of the snare.
16 हे याहवेह, मेरी ओर मुड़कर मुझ पर कृपादृष्टि कीजिए, क्योंकि मैं अकेला तथा पीड़ित हूं.
Look thou upon me, and have mercy on me; for I am alone and poor.
17 मेरे हृदय का संताप बढ़ गया है, मुझे मेरी यातनाओं से बचा लीजिए.
The troubles of my heart are multiplied: deliver me from my necessities.
18 मेरी पीड़ा और यातना पर दृष्टि कीजिए, और मेरे समस्त पाप क्षमा कर दीजिए.
See my abjection and my labour; and forgive me all my sins.
19 देखिए, मेरे शत्रुओं की संख्या कितनी बड़ी है, यह भी देखिए कि मेरे प्रति कितनी उग्र है उनकी घृणा!
Consider my enemies for they are multiplied, and have hated me with an unjust hatred.
20 मेरे जीवन की रक्षा कीजिए और मुझे बचा लीजिए; मुझे लज्जित न होना पड़े, क्योंकि मैं आपके आश्रय में आया हूं.
Keep thou my soul, and deliver me: I shall not be ashamed, for I have hoped in thee.
21 खराई तथा सच्चाई मुझे सुरक्षित रखें, क्योंकि मैंने आप पर ही भरोसा किया है.
The innocent and the upright have adhered to me: because I have waited on thee.
22 हे परमेश्वर, इस्राएल को बचा लीजिए, समस्त संकटों से इस्राएल को मुक्त कीजिए!
Deliver Israel, O God, from all his tribulations.
