भजन संहिता 146
1 याहवेह का स्तवन हो. मेरे प्राण, याहवेह का स्तवन करो.
Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
2 जीवन भर मैं याहवेह का स्तवन करूंगा; जब तक मेरा अस्तित्व है, मैं अपने परमेश्वर का स्तुति गान करता रहूंगा.
While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises to my God while I have any being.
3 प्रधानों पर अपना भरोसा आधारित न करो—उस नश्वर मनुष्य पर, जिसमें किसी को छुड़ाने की कोई सामर्थ्य नहीं है.
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 जब उसके प्राण पखेरू उड़ जाते हैं, वह भूमि में लौट जाता है; और ठीक उसी समय उसकी योजनाएं भी नष्ट हो जाती हैं.
His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5 धन्य होता है वह पुरुष, जिसकी सहायता का उगम याकोब के परमेश्वर में है, जिसकी आशा याहवेह, उसके परमेश्वर पर आधारित है.
Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
6 वही स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी के, समुद्र तथा उसमें चलते फिरते सभी प्राणियों के कर्ता हैं; वह सदा-सर्वदा विश्वासयोग्य रहते हैं.
Who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that is in them: who keepeth truth for ever:
7 वही दुःखितों के पक्ष में न्याय निष्पन्न करते हैं, भूखों को भोजन प्रदान करते हैं. याहवेह बंदी को छुड़ाते हैं,
Who executeth judgment for the oppressed: who giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
8 वह अंधों की आंखें खोल दृष्टि प्रदान करते हैं, याहवेह झुके हुओं को उठाकर सीधा खड़ा करते हैं, उन्हें नीतिमान पुरुष प्रिय हैं.
The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
9 याहवेह प्रवासियों की हितचिंता कर उनकी रक्षा करते हैं वही हैं, जो विधवा तथा अनाथों को संभालते हैं, किंतु वह दुष्टों की युक्तियों को नष्ट कर देते हैं.
The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
10 याहवेह का साम्राज्य सदा के लिए है, ज़ियोन, पीढ़ी से पीढ़ी तक तेरा परमेश्वर राजा हैं. याहवेह का स्तवन करो.
The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
