< भजन संहिता 136 >

1 याहवेह का धन्यवाद करो, क्योंकि वे भले हैं,
Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
2 परम परमेश्वर के प्रति आभार अभिव्यक्त करो.
Give thanks unto the God of gods, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
3 उनके प्रति, जो प्रधानों के प्रधान हैं, आभार अभिव्यक्त करो:
Give thanks unto the Lord of lords, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
4 उनके प्रति, जिनके अतिरिक्त अन्य कोई अद्भुत कार्य कर ही नहीं सकता,
To him who alone doeth great wonders, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
5 जिन्होंने अपनी सुबुद्धि से स्वर्ग का निर्माण किया,
To him that by understanding made the heavens, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
6 जिन्होंने जल के ऊपर पृथ्वी का विस्तार कर दिया,
To him that stretched out the earth above the waters, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
7 जिन्होंने प्रखर प्रकाश पुंजों की रचना की,
To him that made great lights, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
8 दिन के प्रभुत्व के लिए सूर्य का,
The sun for rule over the day, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
9 रात्रि के लिए चंद्रमा और तारों का;
The moon and stars for rule over the night, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
10 उन्हीं के प्रति, जिन्होंने मिस्र देश के पहलौठों की हत्या की,
To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
11 और उनके मध्य से इस्राएल राष्ट्र को बाहर निकाल लिया,
And brought out Israel from among them, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
12 सशक्त भुजा और ऊंची उठी हुई बांह के द्वारा;
With a powerful hand and with a stretched-out arm, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
13 उन्हीं के प्रति, जिन्होंने लाल सागर को विभक्त कर दिया था
To him that divided the Red sea into parts, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
14 और उसके मध्य की भूमि से इस्राएलियों को पार करवा दिया,
And made Israel to pass through the midst of it, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
15 किंतु फ़रोह और उसकी सेना को सागर ही में डुबो दिया;
And overturned Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
16 उन्हीं के प्रति, जिन्होंने अपनी प्रजा को बंजर भूमि से पार कराया;
To him that led his people through the wilderness, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
17 जिन्होंने प्रख्यात राजाओं की हत्या की,
To him that smote great kings, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
18 जिन्होंने सशक्त राजाओं का वध कर दिया,
And slew famous kings, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
19 अमोरियों के राजा सीहोन का,
Sihon king of the Amorites, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
20 बाशान के राजा ओग का,
And Og king of Bashan, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
21 तथा उनकी भूमि निज भाग में दे दी,
And gave their land for an inheritance, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
22 अपने सेवक इस्राएल को, निज भाग में दे दी,
An inheritance unto Israel his servant, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
23 उन्हीं के प्रति, जिन्होंने हमारी दुर्दशा में हमारी सुधि ली,
Who hath remembered us in our low estate, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
24 और हमें हमारे शत्रुओं से मुक्त किया,
And hath delivered us from our oppressors, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
25 जो सब प्राणियों के आहार का प्रबंध करते हैं,
Who giveth food to all flesh, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
26 स्वर्गिक परमेश्वर के प्रति आभार अभिव्यक्त करो,
Give ye thanks unto the God of the heavens; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
