1 आराधना के लिए यात्रियों का गीत. दावीद की रचना. कैसी आदर्श और मनोरम है वह स्थिति जब भाइयों में परस्पर एकता होती है!

A Song of Ascents; of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 यह वैसी ही मनोरम स्थिति है, जब सुगंध द्रव्य पुरोहित के सिर पर उंडेला जाता है, और बहता हुआ दाढ़ी तक पहुंच जाता है, हां, अहरोन की दाढ़ी पर बहता हुआ, उसके वस्त्र की छोर तक जा पहुंचता है.

It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard; even Aaron's beard, that cometh down upon the collar of his garments;

3 हरमोन पर्वत की ओस के समान, जो ज़ियोन पर्वत पर पड़ती है. क्योंकि वही है वह स्थान, जहां याहवेह सर्वदा जीवन की आशीष प्रदान करते हैं.

Like the dew of Hermon, that cometh down upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for ever.
