भजन संहिता 126

1 आराधना के लिए यात्रियों का गीत. जब याहवेह ने बंदियों को ज़ियोन लौटा लाया, हम उन पुरुषों के समान थे, जिन्होंने स्वप्न देखा था.

“A song of the degrees.” When the Lord bringeth back again the captivity of Zion, then shall we be like dreamers.

2 हमारे मुख से हंसी छलक रही थी, हमारी जीभ पर हर्षगान थे. राष्ट्रों में यह बात जाहिर हो चुकी थी, “उनके लिए याहवेह ने अद्भुत कार्य किए हैं.”

Then shall our mouth be filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then shall they say among the nations, Great things hath the Lord done for these.

3 हां, याहवेह ने हमारे लिए अद्भुत कार्य किए, हम हर्ष से भरे हुए थे.

Great things would the Lord have done for us, [whereat] we should be joyful.

4 याहवेह, नेगेव की नदी समान, हमारी समृद्धि लौटा लाइए.

Bring back again, O Lord, our captivity, like rivulets in arid land.

5 जो अश्रु बहाते हुए रोपण करते हैं, वे हर्ष गीत गाते हुए उपज एकत्र करेंगे.

Those that sow in tears shall reap with joyful song.

6 वह, जो रोते हुए बीजारोपण के लिए बाहर निकलता है, अपने साथ पूले लेकर हर्ष गीत गाता हुआ लौटेगा.

He goeth forth indeed and weepeth, that beareth the seed for sowing; but he will surely come with joyful song when he beareth [home] his sheaves.
