भजन संहिता 119
1 कैसे धन्य हैं वे, जिनका आचार-व्यवहार निर्दोष है, जिनका आचरण याहवेह की शिक्षाओं के अनुरूप है.
ALEPH. Happy are they that are upright in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
2 कैसे धन्य हैं वे, जो उनके अधिनियमों का पालन करते हैं तथा जो पूर्ण मन से उनके खोजी हैं.
Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart.
3 वे याहवेह के मार्गों में चलते हैं, और उनसे कोई अन्याय नहीं होता.
Yea, they do no unrighteousness; they walk in His ways.
4 आपने ये आदेश इसलिये दिए हैं, कि हम इनका पूरी तरह पालन करें.
Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently.
5 मेरी कामना है कि आपके आदेशों का पालन करने में मेरा आचरण दृढ़ रहे!
Oh that my ways were directed to observe Thy statutes!
6 मैं आपके आदेशों पर विचार करता रहूंगा, तब मुझे कभी लज्जित होना न पड़ेगा.
Then should I not be ashamed, when I have regard unto all Thy commandments.
7 जब मैं आपकी धर्ममय व्यवस्था का मनन करूंगा, तब मैं निष्कपट हृदय से आपका स्तवन करूंगा.
I will give thanks unto Thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn Thy righteous ordinances.
8 मैं आपकी विधियों का पालन करूंगा; आप मेरा परित्याग कभी न कीजिए.
I will observe Thy statutes; O forsake me not utterly.
9 युवा अपना आचरण कैसे स्वच्छ रखे? आपके वचन पालन के द्वारा.
BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word.
10 मैं आपको संपूर्ण हृदय से खोजता हूं; आप मुझे अपने आदेशों से भटकने न दीजिए.
With my whole heart have I sought Thee; O let me not err from Thy commandments.
11 आपके वचन को मैंने अपने हृदय में इसलिये रख छोड़ा है, कि मैं आपके विरुद्ध पाप न कर बैठूं.
Thy word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.
12 याहवेह, आपका स्तवन हो; मुझे अपनी विधियों की शिक्षा दीजिए.
Blessed art Thou, O LORD; teach me Thy statutes.
13 जो व्यवस्था आपके मुख द्वारा निकली हैं, मैं उन्हें अपने मुख से दोहराता रहता हूं.
With my lips have I told all the ordinances of Thy mouth.
14 आपके अधिनियमों का पालन करना मेरा आनंद है, ठीक उसी प्रकार जिस प्रकार कोई विशाल धनराशि पर आनंदित होता है.
I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15 आपके नीति-सिद्धांत मेरे चिंतन का विषय हैं, मैं आपकी सम्विधियों की विवेचना करता रहता हूं.
I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways.
16 आपकी विधियां मुझे मगन कर देती हैं, आपके वचनों को मैं कभी न भूलूंगा.
I will delight myself in Thy statutes; I will not forget Thy word.
17 अपने सेवक पर उपकार कीजिए कि मैं जीवित रह सकूं, मैं आपके वचन का पालन करूंगा.
GIMEL. Deal bountifully with Thy servant that I may live, and I will observe Thy word.
18 मुझे आपकी व्यवस्था की गहन और अद्भुत बातों को ग्रहण करने की दृष्टि प्रदान कीजिए.
Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.
19 पृथ्वी पर मैं प्रवासी मात्र हूं; मुझसे अपने निर्देश न छिपाइए.
I am a sojourner in the earth; hide not Thy commandments from me.
20 सारा समय आपकी व्यवस्था की अभिलाषा करते-करते मेरे प्राण डूब चले हैं.
My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto Thine ordinances at all times.
21 आपकी प्रताड़ना उन पर पड़ती है, जो अभिमानी हैं, शापित हैं, और जो आपके आदेशों का परित्याग कर भटकते रहते हैं.
Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, that do err from Thy commandments.
22 मुझ पर लगे घृणा और तिरस्कार के कलंक को मिटा दीजिए, क्योंकि मैं आपके अधिनियमों का पालन करता हूं.
Take away from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept Thy testimonies.
23 यद्यपि प्रशासक साथ बैठकर मेरी निंदा करते हैं, आपका यह सेवक आपकी विधियों पर मनन करेगा.
Even though princes sit and talk against me, thy servant doth meditate in Thy statutes.
24 आपके अधिनियमों में मगन है मेरा आनंद; वे ही मेरे सलाहकार हैं.
Yea, Thy testimonies are my delight, they are my counsellors.
25 मेरा प्राण नीचे धूलि में जा पड़ा है; अपनी प्रतिज्ञा के अनुरूप मुझमें नवजीवन का संचार कीजिए.
DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust; quicken Thou me according to Thy word.
26 जब मैंने आपके सामने अपने आचरण का वर्णन किया, आपने मुझे उत्तर दिया; याहवेह, अब मुझे अपनी विधियां सिखा दीजिए.
I told of my ways, and Thou didst answer me; teach me Thy statutes.
27 मुझे अपने उपदेशों की प्रणाली की समझ प्रदान कीजिए, कि मैं आपके अद्भुत कार्यों पर मनन कर सकूं.
Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts, that I may talk of Thy wondrous works.
28 शोक अतिरेक में मेरा प्राण डूबा जा रहा है; अपने वचन से मुझमें बल दीजिए.
My soul melteth away for heaviness; sustain me according unto Thy word.
29 झूठे मार्ग से मुझे दूर रखिए; और अपनी कृपा में मुझे अपनी व्यवस्था की शिक्षा दीजिए.
Remove from me the way of falsehood; and grant me Thy law graciously.
30 मैंने सच्चाई के मार्ग को अपनाया है; मैंने आपके नियमों को अपना आदर्श बनाया है.
I have chosen the way of faithfulness; Thine ordinances have I set before me.
31 याहवेह, मैंने आपके नियमों को दृढतापूर्वक थाम रखा है; मुझे लज्जित न होने दीजिए.
I cleave unto Thy testimonies; O LORD, put me not to shame.
32 आपने मेरे हृदय में साहस का संचार किया है, तब मैं अब आपके आदेशों के पथ पर दौड़ रहा हूं.
I will run the way of Thy commandments, for Thou dost enlarge my heart.
33 याहवेह, मुझे आपकी विधियों का आचरण करने की शिक्षा दीजिए, कि मैं आजीवन उनका पालन करता रहूं.
HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of Thy statutes; and I will keep it at every step.
34 मुझे वह समझ प्रदान कीजिए, कि मैं आपकी व्यवस्था का पालन कर सकूं और संपूर्ण हृदय से इसमें मगन आज्ञाओं का पालन कर सकूं.
Give me understanding, that I keep Thy law and observe it with my whole heart.
35 अपने आदेशों के मार्ग में मेरा संचालन कीजिए, क्योंकि इन्हीं में मेरा आनंद है.
Make me to tread in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
36 मेरे हृदय को स्वार्थी लाभ की ओर नहीं, परंतु अपने नियमों की ओर फेर दीजिए.
Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37 अपने वचन के द्वारा मुझमें नवजीवन का संचार कीजिए; मेरी रुचि निरर्थक वस्तुओं से हटा दीजिए.
Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken me in Thy ways.
38 अपने सेवक से की गई प्रतिज्ञा पूर्ण कीजिए, कि आपके प्रति मेरी श्रद्धा स्थायी रहे.
Confirm Thy word unto Thy servant, which pertaineth unto the fear of Thee.
39 उस लज्जा को मुझसे दूर रखिए, जिसकी मुझे आशंका है, क्योंकि आपके नियम उत्तम हैं.
Turn away my reproach which I dread; for Thine ordinances are good.
40 कैसी तीव्र है आपके उपदेशों के प्रति मेरी अभिलाषा! अपनी धार्मिकता के द्वारा मुझमें नवजीवन का संचार कीजिए.
Behold, I have longed after Thy precepts; quicken me in Thy righteousness.
41 याहवेह, आपका करुणा-प्रेम मुझ पर प्रगट हो जाए, और आपकी प्रतिज्ञा के अनुरूप मुझे आपका उद्धार प्राप्त हो;
VAV. Let Thy mercies also come unto me, O LORD, even Thy salvation, according to Thy word;
42 कि मैं उसे उत्तर दे सकूं, जो मेरा अपमान करता है, आपके वचन पर मेरा भरोसा है.
That I may have an answer for him that taunteth me; for I trust in Thy word.
43 सत्य के वचन मेरे मुख से न छीनिए, मैं आपकी व्यवस्था पर आशा रखता हूं.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I hope in Thine ordinances;
44 मैं सदा-सर्वदा निरंतर, आपकी व्यवस्था का पालन करता रहूंगा.
So shall I observe Thy law continually for ever and ever;
45 मेरा जीवन स्वतंत्र हो जाएगा, क्योंकि मैं आपके उपदेशों का खोजी हूं.
And I will walk at ease, for I have sought Thy precepts;
46 राजाओं के सामने मैं आपके अधिनियमों पर व्याख्यान दूंगा और मुझे लज्जित नहीं होना पड़ेगा.
I will also speak of Thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 क्योंकि आपका आदेश मेरे आनंद का उगम हैं, और वे मुझे प्रिय हैं.
And I will delight myself in Thy commandments, which I have loved.
48 मैं आपके आदेशों की ओर हाथ बढ़ाऊंगा, जो मुझे प्रिय हैं, और आपकी विधियां मेरे मनन का विषय हैं.
I will lift up my hands also unto Thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in Thy statutes.
49 याहवेह, अपने सेवक से की गई प्रतिज्ञा को स्मरण कीजिए, क्योंकि आपने मुझमें आशा का संचार किया है.
ZAIN. Remember the word unto Thy servant, because Thou hast made me to hope.
50 मेरी पीड़ा में मुझे इस बातों से सांत्वना प्राप्त होती है: आपकी प्रतिज्ञाएं मेरे नवजीवन का स्रोत हैं.
This is my comfort in my affliction, that Thy word hath quickened me.
51 अहंकारी बेधड़क मेरा उपहास करते हैं, किंतु मैं आपकी व्यवस्था से दूर नहीं होता.
The proud have had me greatly in derision; yet have I not turned aside from Thy law.
52 याहवेह, जब प्राचीन काल से प्रगट आपकी व्यवस्था पर मैं विचार करता हूं, तब मुझे उनमें सांत्वना प्राप्त होती है.
I have remembered Thine ordinances which are of old, O LORD, and have comforted myself.
53 दुष्ट मुझमें कोप उकसाते हैं, ये वे हैं, जिन्होंने आपकी व्यवस्था त्याग दी है.
Burning indignation hath taken hold upon me, because of the wicked that forsake Thy law.
54 आपकी विधियां मेरे गीत की विषय-वस्तु हैं चाहे मैं किसी भी स्थिति में रहूं.
Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 याहवेह, मैं आपकी व्यवस्था का पालन करता हूं, रात्रि में मैं आपका स्मरण करता हूं.
I have remembered Thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have observed Thy law.
56 आपके उपदेशों का पालन करते जाना ही मेरी चर्या है.
This I have had, that I have kept Thy precepts.
57 याहवेह, आप मेरे जीवन का अंश बन गए हैं; आपके आदेशों के पालन के लिए मैंने शपथ की है.
HETH. My portion is the LORD, I have said that I would observe Thy words.
58 सारे मन से मैंने आपसे आग्रह किया है; अपनी ही प्रतिज्ञा के अनुरूप मुझ पर कृपा कीजिए.
I have entreated Thy favour with my whole heart; be gracious unto me according to Thy word.
59 मैंने अपनी जीवनशैली का विचार किया है और मैंने आपके अधिनियमों के पालन की दिशा में अपने कदम बढ़ा दिए हैं.
I considered my ways, and turned my feet unto Thy testimonies.
60 अब मैं विलंब न करूंगा और शीघ्रता से आपके आदेशों को मानना प्रारंभ कर दूंगा.
I made haste, and delayed not, to observe Thy commandments.
61 मैं आपकी व्यवस्था से दूर न होऊंगा, यद्यपि दुर्जनों ने मुझे रस्सियों से बांध भी रखा हो.
The bands of the wicked have enclosed me; but I have not forgotten Thy law.
62 आपकी युक्ति संगत व्यवस्था के प्रति आभार अभिव्यक्त करने के लिए, मैं मध्य रात्रि को ही जाग जाता हूं.
At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of Thy righteous ordinances.
63 मेरी मैत्री उन सभी से है, जिनमें आपके प्रति श्रद्धा है, उन सभी से, जो आपके उपदेशों पर चलते हैं.
I am a companion of all them that fear Thee, and of them that observe Thy precepts.
64 याहवेह, पृथ्वी आपके करुणा-प्रेम से तृप्त है; मुझे अपनी विधियों की शिक्षा दीजिए.
The earth, O LORD, is full of Thy mercy; teach me Thy statutes.
65 याहवेह, अपनी ही प्रतिज्ञा के अनुरूप अपने सेवक का कल्याण कीजिए.
TETH. Thou hast dealt well with Thy servant, O LORD, according unto Thy word.
66 मुझे ज्ञान और धर्ममय परख सीखाइए, क्योंकि मैं आपकी आज्ञाओं पर भरोसा करता हूं.
Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed Thy commandments.
67 अपनी पीड़ाओं में रहने के पूर्व मैं भटक गया था, किंतु अब मैं आपके वचन के प्रति आज्ञाकारी हूं.
Before I was afflicted, I did err; but now I observe Thy word.
68 आप धन्य हैं, और जो कुछ आप करते हैं भला ही होता है; मुझे अपनी विधियों की शिक्षा दीजिए.
Thou art good, and doest good; teach me Thy statutes.
69 यद्यपि अहंकारियों ने मुझे झूठी बातों से कलंकित कर दिया है, मैं पूर्ण सच्चाई में आपके आदेशों को थामे हुए हूं.
The proud have forged a lie against me; but I with my whole heart will keep Thy precepts.
70 उनके हृदय कठोर तथा संवेदनहीन हो चुके हैं, किंतु आपकी व्यवस्था ही मेरा आनंद है.
Their heart is gross like fat; but I delight in Thy law.
71 यह मेरे लिए भला ही रहा कि मैं प्रताड़ित किया गया, इससे मैं आपकी विधियों से सीख सकूं.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn Thy statutes.
72 आपके मुख से निकली व्यवस्था मेरे लिए स्वर्ण और चांदी की हजारों मुद्राओं से कहीं अधिक मूल्यवान हैं.
The law of Thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
73 आपके हाथों ने मेरा निर्माण किया और मुझे आकार दिया; मुझे अपने आदेशों को समझने की सद्बुद्धि प्रदान कीजिए.
JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding, that I may learn Thy commandments.
74 मुझे देख आपके भक्त उल्लसित हो सकें, क्योंकि आपका वचन ही मेरी आशा है.
They that fear Thee shall see me and be glad, because I have hope in Thy word.
75 याहवेह, यह मैं जानता हूं कि आपकी व्यवस्था धर्ममय है, और आपके द्वारा मेरा क्लेश न्याय संगत था.
I know, O LORD, that Thy judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me.
76 अब अपने सेवक से की गई प्रतिज्ञा के अनुरूप, आपका करुणा-प्रेम ही मेरी शांति है!
Let, I pray Thee, Thy lovingkindness be ready to comfort me, according to Thy promise unto Thy servant.
77 आपकी व्यवस्था में मेरा आनन्दमग्न है, तब मुझे आपकी मनोहरता में जीवन प्राप्त हो.
Let Thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for Thy law is my delight.
78 अहंकारियों को लज्जित होना पड़े क्योंकि उन्होंने अकारण ही मुझसे छल किया है; किंतु मैं आपके उपदेशों पर मनन करता रहूंगा.
Let the proud be put to shame, for they have distorted my cause with falsehood; but I will meditate in Thy precepts.
79 आपके श्रद्धालु, जिन्होंने आपके अधिनियमों को समझ लिया है, पुनः मेरे पक्ष में हो जाएं,
Let those that fear Thee return unto me, and they that know Thy testimonies.
80 मेरा हृदय पूर्ण सिद्धता में आपकी विधियों का पालन करता रहे, कि मुझे लज्जित न होना पड़े.
Let my heart be undivided in Thy statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.
81 आपके उद्धार की तीव्र अभिलाषा करते हुए मेरा प्राण बेचैन हुआ जा रहा है, अब आपका वचन ही मेरी आशा का आधार है.
CAPH. My soul pineth for Thy salvation; in Thy word do I hope.
82 आपकी प्रतिज्ञा-पूर्ति की प्रतीक्षा में मेरी आंखें थक चुकी हैं; मैं पूछ रहा हूं, “कब मुझे आपकी ओर से सांत्वना प्राप्त होगी?”
Mine eyes fail for Thy word, saying: 'When wilt Thou comfort me?'
83 यद्यपि मैं धुएं में संकुचित द्राक्षारस की कुप्पी के समान हो गया हूं, फिर भी आपकी विधियां मेरे मन से लुप्त नहीं हुई हैं.
For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; yet do I not forget Thy statutes.
84 और कितनी प्रतीक्षा करनी होगी आपके सेवक को? आप कब मेरे सतानेवालों को दंड देंगे?
How many are the days of Thy servant? When wilt Thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
85 अहंकारियों ने मेरे लिए गड्ढे खोद रखे हैं, उनका आचरण आपकी व्यवस्था के विपरीत है.
The proud have digged pits for me, which is not according to Thy law.
86 विश्वासयोग्य हैं आपके आदेश; मेरी सहायता कीजिए, झूठ बोलनेवाले मुझे दुःखित कर रहे हैं.
All Thy commandments are faithful; they persecute me for nought; help Thou me.
87 उन्होंने मुझे धरती पर से लगभग मिटा ही डाला था, फिर भी मैं आपके नीति सूत्रों से दूर न हुआ.
They had almost consumed me upon earth; but as for me, I forsook not Thy precepts.
88 मैं आपके मुख से बोले हुए नियमों का पालन करता रहूंगा, अपने करुणा-प्रेम के अनुरूप मेरे जीवन की रक्षा कीजिए.
Quicken me after Thy lovingkindness, and I will observe the testimony of Thy mouth.
89 याहवेह, सर्वदा है आपका वचन; यह स्वर्ग में दृढतापूर्वक बसा है.
LAMED. For ever, O LORD, Thy word standeth fast in heaven.
90 पीढ़ी से पीढ़ी आपकी सच्चाई बनी रहती है; आपके द्वारा ही पृथ्वी की स्थापना की गई और यह स्थायी बनी हुई है.
Thy faithfulness is unto all generations; Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.
91 आप के नियम सभी आज तक अस्तित्व में हैं, और सभी कुछ आपकी सेवा कर रहे हैं.
They stand this day according to Thine ordinances; for all things are Thy servants.
92 यदि आपकी व्यवस्था में मैं उल्लास मगन न होता, तो इन पीड़ाओं को सहते सहते मेरी मृत्यु हो जाती.
Unless Thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
93 आपके उपदेश मेरे मन से कभी नष्ट न होंगे, क्योंकि इन्हीं के द्वारा आपने मुझे जीवन प्रदान किया है,
I will never forget Thy precepts; for with them Thou hast quickened me.
94 तब मुझ पर आपका ही स्वामित्व है, मेरी रक्षा कीजिए; मैं आपके ही उपदेशों का खोजी हूं.
I am Thine, save me; for I have sought Thy precepts.
95 दुष्ट मुझे नष्ट करने के उद्देश्य से घात लगाए बैठे हैं, किंतु आपकी चेतावनियों पर मैं विचार करता रहूंगा.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; but I will consider Thy testimonies.
96 हर एक सिद्धता में मैंने कोई न कोई सीमा ही पाई है, किंतु आपके आदेश असीमित हैं.
I have seen an end to every purpose; but Thy commandment is exceeding broad.
97 आह, कितनी अधिक प्रिय है मुझे आपकी व्यवस्था! इतना, कि मैं दिन भर इसी पर विचार करता रहता हूं.
MEM. O how love I Thy law! It is my meditation all the day.
98 आपके आदेशों ने तो मुझे अपने शत्रुओं से अधिक बुद्धिमान बना दिया है क्योंकि ये कभी मुझसे दूर नहीं होते.
Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
99 मुझमें तो अपने सभी शिक्षकों से अधिक समझ है, क्योंकि आपके उपदेश मेरे चिंतन का विषय हैं.
I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Thy testimonies are my (meditation)
100 आपके उपदेशों का पालन करने का ही परिणाम यह है, कि मुझमें बुजुर्गों से अधिक समझ है.
I understand more than mine elders, because I have keep Thy precepts.
101 आपकी आज्ञा का पालन करने के लक्ष्य से, मैंने अपने कदम हर एक अधर्म के पथ पर चलने से बचा रखे हैं.
I have refrained my feet from every evil way, in order that I might observe Thy word.
102 आप ही के द्वारा दी गई शिक्षा के कारण, मैं आपके नियम तोड़ने से बच सका हूं.
I have not turned aside from Thine ordinances; for Thou hast instructed me.
103 कैसा मधुर है आपकी प्रतिज्ञाओं का आस्वादन करना, आपकी प्रतिज्ञाएं मेरे मुख में मधु से भी अधिक मीठी हैं!
How sweet are Thy words unto my palate! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 हर एक झूठा मार्ग मेरी दृष्टि में घृणास्पद है; क्योंकि आपके उपदेशों से मुझे समझदारी प्राप्त होती है.
From Thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
105 आपका वचन मेरे पांवों के लिए दीपक, और मेरे मार्ग के लिए प्रकाश है.
NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
106 मैंने यह शपथ ली है और यह सुनिश्चित किया है, कि मैं आपके धर्ममय नियमों का ही पालन करता जाऊंगा.
I have sworn, and have confirmed it, to observe Thy righteous ordinances.
107 याहवेह, मेरी पीड़ा असह्य है; अपनी प्रतिज्ञा के अनुरूप मुझमें नवजीवन का संचार कीजिए.
I am afflicted very much; quicken me, O LORD, according unto Thy word.
108 याहवेह, मेरे मुख से निकले स्वैच्छिक स्तवन वचनों को स्वीकार कीजिए, और मुझे अपने नियमों की शिक्षा दीजिए.
Accept, I beseech Thee, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me Thine ordinances.
109 आपकी व्यवस्था से मैं कभी दूर न होऊंगा, यद्यपि मैं लगातार अपने जीवन को हथेली पर लिए फिरता हूं.
My soul is continually in my hand; yet have I not forgotten Thy law.
110 दुष्टों ने मेरे लिए जाल बिछाया हुआ है, किंतु मैं आपके उपदेशों से नहीं भटका.
The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet went I not astray from Thy precepts.
111 आपके नियमों को मैंने सदा-सर्वदा के लिए निज भाग में प्राप्त कर लिया है; वे ही मेरे हृदय का आनंद हैं.
Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112 आपकी विधियों का अंत तक पालन करने के लिए मेरा हृदय तैयार है.
I have inclined my heart to perform Thy statutes, for ever, at every step.
113 दुविधा से ग्रस्त मन का पुरुष मेरे लिए घृणास्पद है, मुझे प्रिय है आपकी व्यवस्था.
SAMECH. I hate them that are of a double mind; but Thy law do I love.
114 आप मेरे आश्रय हैं, मेरी ढाल हैं; मेरी आशा का आधार है आपका वचन.
Thou art my covert and my shield; in Thy word do I hope.
115 अधर्मियो, दूर रहो मुझसे, कि मैं परमेश्वर के आदेशों का पालन कर सकूं!
Depart from me, ye evildoers; that I may keep the commandments of my God.
116 याहवेह, अपनी प्रतिज्ञा के अनुरूप मुझे सम्भालिए, कि मैं जीवित रहूं; मेरी आशा भंग न होने पाए.
Uphold me according unto Thy word, that I may live; and put me not to shame in my hope.
117 मुझे थाम लीजिए कि मैं सुरक्षित रहूं; मैं सदैव आपकी विधियों पर भरोसा करता रहूंगा.
Support Thou me, and I shall be saved; and I will occupy myself with Thy statutes continually.
118 वे सभी, जो आपके नियमों से भटक जाते हैं, आपकी उपेक्षा के पात्र हो जाते हैं, क्योंकि निरर्थक होती है उनकी चालाकी.
Thou hast made light of all them that err from Thy statutes; for their deceit is vain.
119 संसार के सभी दुष्टों को आप मैल के समान फेंक देते हैं; यही कारण है कि मुझे आपकी चेतावनियां प्रिय हैं.
Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross; therefore I love Thy testimonies.
120 आपके भय से मेरी देह कांप जाती है; आपके निर्णयों का विचार मुझमें भय का संचार कर देता है.
My flesh shuddereth for fear of Thee; and I am afraid of Thy judgments.
121 मैंने वही किया है, जो न्याय संगत तथा धर्ममय है; मुझे सतानेवालों के सामने न छोड़ दीजिएगा.
AIN. I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to mine oppressors.
122 अपने सेवक का हित निश्चित कर दीजिए; अहंकारियों को मुझ पर अत्याचार न करने दीजिए.
Be surety for Thy servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.
123 आपके उद्धार की प्रतीक्षा में, आपकी निष्ठ प्रतिज्ञाओं की प्रतीक्षा में मेरी आंखें थक चुकी हैं.
Mine eyes fail for Thy salvation, and for Thy righteous word.
124 अपने करुणा-प्रेम के अनुरूप अपने सेवक से व्यवहार कीजिए और मुझे अपने अधिनियमों की शिक्षा दीजिए.
Deal with Thy servant according unto Thy mercy, and teach me Thy statutes.
125 मैं आपका सेवक हूं, मुझे समझ प्रदान कीजिए, कि मैं आपकी विधियों को समझ सकूं.
I am Thy servant, give me understanding, that I may know Thy testimonies.
126 याहवेह, आपके नियम तोड़े जा रहे हैं; समय आ गया है कि आप अपना कार्य करें.
It is time for the LORD to work; they have made void Thy law.
127 इसलिये कि मुझे आपके आदेश स्वर्ण से अधिक प्रिय हैं, शुद्ध कुन्दन से अधिक,
Therefore I love Thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.
128 मैं आपके उपदेशों को धर्ममय मानता हूं, तब मुझे हर एक गलत मार्ग से घृणा है.
Therefore I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right; every false way I hate.
129 अद्भुत हैं आपके अधिनियम; इसलिये मैं उनका पालन करता हूं.
PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore doth my soul keep them.
130 आपके वचन के खुलने से ज्योति उत्पन्न होती है; परिणामस्वरूप भोले पुरुषों को सबुद्धि प्राप्त होती है.
The opening of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
131 मेरा मुख खुला है और मैं हांफ रहा हूं, क्योंकि मुझे प्यास है आपके आदेशों की.
I opened wide my mouth, and panted; for I longed for Thy commandments.
132 मेरी ओर ध्यान दीजिए और मुझ पर कृपा कीजिए, जैसी आपकी नीति उनके प्रति है, जिन्हें आपसे प्रेम है.
Turn Thee towards me, and be gracious unto me, as is Thy wont to do unto those that love Thy name.
133 अपनी प्रतिज्ञा के अनुरूप मेरे पांव को स्थिर कर दीजिए; कोई भी दुष्टता मुझ पर प्रभुता न करने पाए.
Order my footsteps by Thy word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 मुझे मनुष्यों के अत्याचार से छुड़ा लीजिए, कि मैं आपके उपदेशों का पालन कर सकूं.
Redeem me from the oppression of man, and I will observe Thy precepts.
135 अपने सेवक पर अपना मुख प्रकाशित कीजिए और मुझे अपने नियमों की शिक्षा दीजिए.
Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant; and teach me Thy statutes.
136 मेरी आंखों से अश्रुप्रवाह हो रहा है, क्योंकि लोग आपकी व्यवस्था का पालन नहीं कर रहे.
Mine eyes run down with rivers of water, because they observe not Thy law.
137 याहवेह, आप धर्मी हैं, सच्चे हैं आपके नियम.
TZADE. Righteous art Thou, O LORD, and upright are Thy judgments.
138 जो अधिनियम आपने प्रगट किए हैं, वे धर्ममय हैं; वे हर एक दृष्टिकोण से विश्वासयोग्य हैं.
Thou hast commanded Thy testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.
139 मैं भस्म हो रहा हूं, क्योंकि मेरे शत्रु आपके वचनों को भूल गए हैं.
My zeal hath undone me, because mine adversaries have forgotten Thy words.
140 आपकी प्रतिज्ञाओं का उचित परीक्षण किया जा चुका है, वे आपके सेवक को अत्यंत प्रिय हैं.
Thy word is tried to the uttermost, and Thy servant loveth it.
141 यद्यपि मैं छोटा, यहां तक कि लोगों की दृष्टि में घृणास्पद हूं, फिर भी मैं आपके अधिनियमों को नहीं भूलता.
I am small and despised; yet have I not forgotten Thy precepts.
142 अनंत है आपकी धार्मिकता, परमेश्वर तथा यथार्थ है आपकी व्यवस्था.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is the truth.
143 क्लेश और संकट मुझ पर टूट पड़े हैं, किंतु आपके आदेश मुझे मगन रखे हुए हैं.
Trouble and anguish have overtaken me; yet Thy commandments are my delight.
144 आपके अधिनियम सदा-सर्वदा धर्ममय ही प्रमाणित हुए हैं; मुझे इनके विषय में ऐसी समझ प्रदान कीजिए कि मैं जीवित रह सकूं.
Thy testimonies are righteous for ever; give me understanding, and I shall live.
145 याहवेह, मैं संपूर्ण हृदय से आपको पुकार रहा हूं, मुझे उत्तर दीजिए, कि मैं आपकी विधियों का पालन कर सकूं.
KOPH. I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O LORD; I will keep Thy statutes.
146 मैं आपको पुकार रहा हूं; मेरी रक्षा कीजिए, कि मैं आपके अधिनियमों का पालन कर सकूं.
I have called Thee, save me, and I will observe Thy testimonies.
147 मैं सूर्योदय से पूर्व ही जाग कर सहायता के लिये पुकारता हूं; मेरी आशा आपके वचन पर आधारित है.
I rose early at dawn, and cried; I hoped in Thy word.
148 रात्रि के समस्त प्रहरों में मेरी आंखें खुली रहती हैं, कि मैं आपकी प्रतिज्ञाओं पर मनन कर सकूं.
Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, that I might meditate in Thy word.
149 अपने करुणा-प्रेम के कारण मेरी पुकार सुनिए; याहवेह, अपने ही नियमों के अनुरूप मुझमें नवजीवन का संचार कीजिए.
Hear my voice according unto Thy lovingkindness; quicken me, O LORD, as Thou art wont.
150 जो मेरे विरुद्ध बुराई की युक्ति रच रहे हैं, मेरे निकट आ गए हैं, किंतु वे आपकी व्यवस्था से दूर हैं.
They draw nigh that follow after wickedness; they are far from Thy law.
151 फिर भी, याहवेह, आप मेरे निकट हैं, और आपके सभी आदेश प्रामाणिक हैं.
Thou art nigh, O LORD; and all Thy commandments are truth.
152 अनेक-अनेक वर्ष पूर्व मैंने आपके अधिनियमों से यह अनुभव कर लिया था कि आपने इनकी स्थापना ही इसलिये की है कि ये सदा-सर्वदा स्थायी बने रहें.
Of old have I known from Thy testimonies that Thou hast founded them for ever.
153 मेरे दुःख पर ध्यान दीजिए और मुझे इससे बचा लीजिए, क्योंकि आपकी व्यवस्था को मैं भुला नहीं.
RESH. O see mine affliction, and rescue me; for I do not forget Thy law.
154 मेरे पक्ष का समर्थन करके मेरा उद्धार कीजिए; अपनी प्रतिज्ञा के अनुरूप मुझमें नवजीवन का संचार कीजिए.
Plead Thou my cause, and redeem me; quicken me according to Thy word.
155 कठिन है दुष्टों का उद्धार होना, क्योंकि उन्हें आपकी विधियों की महानता ही ज्ञात नहीं.
Salvation is far from the wicked; for they seek not Thy statutes.
156 याहवेह, अनुपम है आपकी मनोहरता; अपने ही नियमों के अनुरूप मुझमें नवजीवन का संचार कीजिए.
Great are Thy compassions, O LORD; quicken me as Thou art wont.
157 मेरे सतानेवाले तथा शत्रु अनेक हैं, किंतु मैं आपके अधिनियमों से दूर नहीं हुआ हूं.
Many are my persecutors and mine adversaries; yet have I not turned aside from Thy testimonies.
158 विश्वासघाती आपके आदेशों का पालन नहीं करते, तब मेरी दृष्टि में वे घृणास्पद हैं.
I beheld them that were faithless, and strove with them; because they observed not Thy word.
159 आप ही देख लीजिए: कितने प्रिय हैं मुझे आपके नीति-सिद्धांत; याहवेह, अपने करुणा-प्रेम के अनुरूप मुझमें नवजीवन का संचार कीजिए.
O see how I love Thy precepts; quicken me, O LORD, according to Thy lovingkindness.
160 वस्तुतः सत्य आपके वचन का सार है; तथा आपके धर्ममय नियम सदा-सर्वदा स्थायी रहते हैं.
The beginning of Thy word is truth; and all Thy righteous ordinance endureth for ever.
161 प्रधान मुझे बिना किसी कारण के दुःखित कर रहे हैं, किंतु आपके वचन का ध्यान कर मेरा हृदय कांप उठता है.
SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of Thy words.
162 आपकी प्रतिज्ञाओं से मुझे ऐसा उल्लास प्राप्त होता है; जैसा किसी को बड़ी लूट प्राप्त हुई है.
I rejoice at Thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
163 झूठ से मुझे घृणा है, बैर है किंतु मुझे प्रेम है आपकी व्यवस्था से.
I hate and abhor falsehood; Thy law do I love.
164 आपकी धर्ममय व्यवस्था का ध्यान कर मैं दिन में सात-सात बार आपका स्तवन करता हूं.
Seven times a day do I praise Thee, because of Thy righteous ordinances.
165 जिन्हें आपकी व्यवस्था से प्रेम है, उनको बड़ी शांति मिलती रहती है, वे किसी रीति से विचलित नहीं हो सकते.
Great peace have they that love Thy law; and there is no stumbling for them.
166 याहवेह, मैं आपके उद्धार का प्रत्याशी हूं, मैं आपके आदेशों का पालन करता हूं.
I have hoped for Thy salvation, O LORD, and have done Thy commandments.
167 मैं आपके अधिनियमों का पालन करता हूं, क्योंकि वे मुझे अत्यंत प्रिय हैं.
My soul hath observed Thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
168 मैं आपके उपदेशों तथा नियमों का पालन करता हूं, आपके सामने मेरा संपूर्ण आचरण प्रगट है.
I have observed Thy precepts and Thy testimonies; for all my ways are before Thee.
169 याहवेह, मेरी पुकार आप तक पहुंचे; मुझे अपने वचन को समझने की क्षमता प्रदान कीजिए.
TAV. Let my cry come near before Thee, O LORD; give me understanding according to Thy word.
170 मेरा गिड़गिड़ाना आप तक पहुंचे; अपनी प्रतिज्ञा पूर्ण करते हुए मुझे छुड़ा लीजिए.
Let my supplication come before Thee; deliver me according to Thy word.
171 मेरे होंठों से आपका स्तवन छलक उठे, क्योंकि आपने मुझे अपनी विधियों की शिक्षा दी है.
Let my lips utter praise: because Thou teachest me Thy statutes.
172 मेरी जीभ आपके वचन का गान करेगी, क्योंकि आपके सभी आदेश आदर्श हैं.
Let my tongue sing of Thy word; for all Thy commandments are righteousness.
173 आपकी भुजा मेरी सहायता के लिए तत्पर रहे, मैंने आपके उपदेशों को अपनाया है.
Let Thy hand be ready to help me; for I have chosen Thy precepts.
174 आपसे उद्धार की प्राप्ति की मुझे उत्कंठा है, याहवेह, आपकी व्यवस्था में मेरा आनंद है.
I have longed for Thy salvation, O LORD; and Thy law is my delight.
175 मुझे आयुष्मान कीजिए कि मैं आपका स्तवन करता रहूं, और आपकी व्यवस्था मुझे संभाले रहे.
Let my soul live, and it shall praise Thee; and let Thine ordinances help me.
176 मैं खोई हुई भेड़ के समान हो गया था. आप ही अपने सेवक को खोज लीजिए, क्योंकि मैं आपके आदेशों को भूला नहीं.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Thy servant; for I have not forgotten Thy commandments.
