भजन संहिता 116
1 मुझे याहवेह से प्रेम है, क्योंकि उन्होंने मेरी पुकार सुन ली; उन्होंने मेरी प्रार्थना सुन ली.
I love Yahweh, because he hears me when I cry for him to help me.
2 इसलिये कि उन्होंने मेरी पुकार सुन ली, मैं आजीवन उन्हें ही पुकारता रहूंगा.
He listens to me, so I will call out to him all during my life.
3 मृत्यु के डोर मुझे कसे जा रहे थे, अधोलोक की वेदना से मैं भयभीत हो चुका था; भय और संकट में मैं पूर्णतः डूब चुका था. (Sheol h7585)
Everything around me [MET] caused me to think that I would die; I was very afraid that I would [die and go to] the place where dead people are. I was very distressed/worried and afraid. (Sheol h7585)
4 इस स्थिति में मैंने याहवेह के नाम को पुकारा: “याहवेह, मेरा अनुरोध है, मुझे बचाइए!”
[But] then I called out to Yahweh, saying, “Yahweh, I plead with you to save/rescue me!”
5 याहवेह उदार एवं धर्ममय हैं; हां, हमारे परमेश्वर करुणानिधान हैं.
Yahweh is kind and does what is right; he is our God, and he acts mercifully [to us].
6 याहवेह भोले लोगों की रक्षा करते हैं; मेरी विषम परिस्थिति में उन्होंने मेरा उद्धार किया.
He protects those who (are helpless/cannot defend themselves); and when I thought that I would die, he saved me.
7 ओ मेरे प्राण, लौट आ अपने विश्राम स्थान पर, क्योंकि याहवेह ने तुझ पर उपकार किया है.
I must encourage/tell myself to (have inner peace/not worry any more), because Yahweh has done very good things for me.
8 याहवेह, आपने मेरे प्राण को मृत्यु से मुक्त किया है, मेरे आंखों को अश्रुओं से, तथा मेरे पांवों को लड़खड़ाने से सुरक्षित रखा है,
Yahweh has saved me [SYN] from dying, and has kept/protected me from [troubles that would cause me to] cry. He has kept/protected me from stumbling.
9 कि मैं जीवितों के लोक में याहवेह के साथ चल फिर सकूं.
[So here] on the earth, where people are still alive, I live knowing that Yahweh is [directing] me.
10 उस स्थिति में भी, जब मैं यह कह रहा था, “असह्य है मेरी पीड़ा” विश्वास मुझमें बना था;
I continued to believe/trust [in Yahweh], even when I said, “I am greatly afflicted/troubled.”
11 अपनी खलबली में मैंने यह कह दिया था, “सभी मनुष्य झूठ बोलनेवाले हैं.”
[Even] when I was distressed/worried and said, “I cannot trust anyone,” [I continued to trust in Yahweh].
12 याहवेह के इन समस्त उपकारों का प्रतिफल मैं उन्हें कैसे दे सकूंगा?
So now [I will tell you] [RHQ] what I will offer to Yahweh, because of all the good things that he has done for me.
13 मैं उद्धार का प्याला ऊंचा उठाऊंगा और याहवेह की महिमा का गुणगान करूंगा.
I will offer to him a cup [of wine] to thank him for saving/rescuing me.
14 याहवेह की प्रजा के सामने मैं याहवेह से की गई अपनी प्रतिज्ञाएं पूर्ण करूंगा.
When I am together with many [HYP] people who belong to Yahweh, I will give to him the offerings that I solemnly promised to give to him.
15 याहवेह की दृष्टि में उनके भक्तों की मृत्यु मूल्यवान होती है.
Yahweh is very grieved/sad when one of his people dies.
16 याहवेह, निःसंदेह, मैं आपका सेवक हूं; आपका सेवक, आपकी सेविका का पुत्र. आपने मुझे मेरे बंधनों से छुड़ा दिया है.
I am one of those who serve Yahweh; I serve him like my mother did. He has freed/saved me from dying (OR, from being fastened by chains).
17 मैं आपको आभार-बलि अर्पित करूंगा, मैं याहवेह की वंदना करूंगा.
[So] I will offer to him a sacrifice to thank him, and I will pray to him.
18 मैं याहवेह से की गई अपनी प्रतिज्ञाएं उनकी संपूर्ण प्रजा के सामने पूर्ण करूंगा.
When I am together with many of [HYP] the people who belong to Yahweh, [in the courtyard] outside his temple in Jerusalem, I will give to him the offerings that I solemnly promised to give to him. Praise Yahweh!
19 येरूशलेम, तुम्हारे मध्य, याहवेह के भवन के आंगनों में पूर्ण करूंगा. याहवेह का स्तवन हो.
