भजन संहिता 115
1 हमारी नहीं, याहवेह, हमारी नहीं, परंतु आपकी ही महिमा हो, आपके करुणा-प्रेम और आपकी सच्चाई के निमित्त.
Lord, not to vs, not to vs; but yyue thou glorie to thi name.
2 अन्य जनता यह क्यों कह रहे हैं, “कहां है उनका परमेश्वर?”
On thi merci and thi treuthe; lest ony tyme hethene men seien, Where is the God of hem?
3 स्वर्ग में हैं हमारे परमेश्वर और वह वही सब करते हैं; जिसमें उनकी चाहत है.
Forsothe oure God in heuene; dide alle thingis, whiche euere he wolde.
4 किंतु इन राष्ट्रों की प्रतिमाएं मात्र स्वर्ण और चांदी हैं, मनुष्यों की हस्तकृति मात्र.
The symulacris of hethene men ben siluer and gold; the werkis of mennus hondis.
5 हां, उनका मुख अवश्य है, किंतु ये बोल नहीं सकतीं, उनकी आंखें अवश्य हैं, किंतु ये देख नहीं सकतीं.
Tho han mouth, and schulen not speke; tho han iyen, and schulen not se.
6 उनके कान हैं, किंतु ये सुन नहीं सकतीं, नाक तो है, किंतु ये सूंघ नहीं सकती.
Tho han eeris, and schulen not here; tho han nose thurls, and schulen not smelle.
7 इनके हाथ हैं, किंतु ये स्पर्श नहीं कर सकतीं, पैर भी हैं, किंतु ये चल फिर नहीं सकतीं, न ही ये अपने कण्ठ से कोई स्वर ही उच्चार सकती हैं.
Tho han hondis, and schulen not grope; tho han feet, and schulen not go; tho schulen not crye in her throte.
8 इनके समान ही हो जाएंगे इनके निर्माता, साथ ही वे सभी, जो इन पर भरोसा करते हैं.
Thei that maken tho ben maad lijk tho; and alle that triste in tho.
9 इस्राएल के वंशजो, याहवेह पर भरोसा करो; वही हैं तुम्हारे सहायक तथा रक्षक.
The hous of Israel hopide in the Lord; he is the helpere `of hem, and the defendere of hem.
10 अहरोन के वंशजो, याहवेह पर भरोसा करो; वही हैं तुम्हारे सहायक तथा रक्षक.
The hous of Aaron hopide in the Lord; he is the helpere of hem, and the defendere of hem.
11 याहवेह के भय माननेवालो, याहवेह में भरोसा रखो, याहवेह सहारा देता है और अपने अनुयायियों की रक्षा करता है.
Thei that dreden the Lord, hopiden in the Lord; he is the helpere of hem, and the defendere of hem.
12 याहवेह को हमारा स्मरण रहता है, हम पर उनकी कृपादृष्टि रहेगी: याहवेह अपने लोग इस्राएल को आशीर्वाद देंगे, उनकी कृपादृष्टि अहरोन के वंश पर रहेगी.
The Lord was myndeful of vs; and blesside vs. He blesside the hous of Israel; he blesside the hous of Aaron.
13 उनकी कृपादृष्टि उन सभी पर रहेगी, जिनमें याहवेह के प्रति श्रद्धा है— चाहे वे साधारण हों अथवा विशिष्ट.
He blesside alle men that dreden the Lord; `he blesside litle `men with the grettere.
14 याहवेह तुम्हें ऊंचा करें, तुम्हें और तुम्हारी संतान को.
The Lord encreesse on you; on you and on youre sones.
15 याहवेह की कृपादृष्टि तुम पर स्थिर रहे, जो स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी के रचनेवाले हैं.
Blessid be ye of the Lord; that made heuene and erthe.
16 सर्वोच्च स्वर्ग के स्वामी याहवेह हैं, किंतु पृथ्वी उन्होंने मनुष्य को सौंपी है.
Heuene of `heuene is to the Lord; but he yaf erthe to the sones of men.
17 वे मृतक नहीं हैं, जो याहवेह का स्तवन करते हैं, न ही जो चिर-निद्रा में समा जाते हैं;
Lord, not deed men schulen herie thee; nether alle men that goen doun in to helle.
18 किंतु जहां तक हमारा प्रश्न है, हम याहवेह का गुणगान करते रहेंगे, इस समय तथा सदा-सर्वदा. याहवेह का स्तवन हो.
But we that lyuen, blessen the Lord; fro this tyme now and til in to the world.
