भजन संहिता 112
1 याहवेह का स्तवन हो. धन्य है वह पुरुष, जो याहवेह के प्रति श्रद्धा रखता है, जिसने उनके आदेशों के पालन में अधिक आनंद पाया है.
Praise Yahweh! (Happy are/He is pleased with) those who revere him, those who happily obey his commands.
2 उसके वंशजों का तेज समस्त पृथ्वी पर होगा; सीधे पुरुष की हर एक पीढ़ी धन्य होगी.
Their children will prosper in their land; and their descendants will be blessed [by God].
3 उसके परिवार में संपत्ति और समृद्धि का वास है, सदा बनी रहती है उसकी सच्चाई और धार्मिकता
Their families [MTY] will be very wealthy [DOU], and [the results of] their righteous deeds will endure forever.
4 सीधे लोगों के लिए अंधकार में भी प्रकाश का उदय होता है, वह उदार, कृपालु और नीतियुक्त है.
Godly/Righteous people are [like] lights [SIM] that shine in the darkness on those who are kind, merciful and righteous.
5 उत्तम होगा उन लोगों का प्रतिफल, जो उदार है, जो उदारतापूर्वक ऋण देता है, जो अपने लेनदेन में सीधा है.
Things [will] go well for those who generously lend money to others and who conduct their businesses honestly.
6 यह सुनिश्चित है, कि वह कभी पथभ्रष्ट न होगा; धर्मी अपने पीछे स्थायी नाम छोड़ जाता है.
Righteous people will not be overwhelmed/worried/distressed [because of their troubles], and they will never be forgotten [by other people].
7 उसे किसी बुराई के समाचार से भय नहीं होता; याहवेह पर भरोसा करते हुए उसका हृदय शांत और स्थिर बना रहता है.
They are not afraid of [receiving] bad news; they confidently/completely trust in Yahweh.
8 उसका हृदय सुरक्षा में स्थापित है, तब उसे कोई भय नहीं होता; अंततः वही शत्रुओं पर जयन्त होकर दृष्टि करेगा.
They are confident and not afraid, because they know that they will see [God defeat] their enemies.
9 उन्होंने कंगालों को उदारतापूर्वक दान दिया है, उनकी सच्चाई और धार्मिकता युगानुयुग बनी रहती है. उनकी महिमा सदैव ऊंची होती रहती है.
They give things generously to poor/needy [people]; [the results of] their kind deeds will endure forever, and they [will] be exalted and honored.
10 यह सब देखकर दुष्ट अत्यंत कुपित हो जाता है, वह दांत पीसता है और गल जाता है; दुष्ट की अभिलाषाएं अपूर्ण ही रह जाएंगी.
Wicked people see those things and are angry; they gnash their teeth [angrily], but they [will] disappear [and die]. The [wicked] things that they want to do [will] never happen.
