भजन संहिता 110

1 दावीद की रचना. एक स्तोत्र. याहवेह मेरे प्रभु ने, राजा से कहा: “मेरे दायें पक्ष में विराजमान हो जाओ. तुम्हारे शत्रुओं को मैं तुम्हारे चरणों की चौकी बना रहा हूं.”

David’s. A Melody. The declaration of Yahweh to my Lord—Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

2 याहवेह ही ज़ियोन से आपके सामर्थ्यवान राजदंड का विस्तार करेंगे, “आपका शासन आपके शत्रुओं के मध्य बसा होगा!”

Thy sceptre of strength, will Yahweh extend out of Zion, Tread thou down, in the midst of thy foes.

3 आपकी सेना आपकी लड़ाई के समय स्वेच्छा से आपका साथ देगी, सबेरे के गर्भ से जन्मी हुई ओस के समान पवित्रता से सुशोभित होकर आपके पास आएंगे आपके जवान.

Thy people, will freely offer themselves, in the day of thine army, —in the splendours of holiness, out of the womb of the dawn, To thee, [shall spring forth] the dew of thy youth.

4 यह याहवेह की शपथ है, जो अपने वक्तव्य से दूर नहीं होते: “तुम मेलखीज़ेदेक की शृंखला में सनातन पुरोहित हो.”

Yahweh, hath sworn—and will not repent, Thou, [shalt be] a priest unto times age-abiding, after the manner of Melchizedek.

5 प्रभु आपके दायें पक्ष में तत्पर हैं; वह उदास होकर राजाओं को कुचल डालेंगे.

My Lord, on thy right hand, —hath shattered—in the day of his anger—kings;

6 वह राष्ट्रों पर अपने न्याय का निर्णय घोषित करेंगे, मृतकों का ढेर लग जाएगा और संपूर्ण पृथ्वी के न्यायियों की हत्या कर दी जाएगी.

He will judge among the nations—full of dead bodies! He hath shattered the head over a land far extended:

7 तब महाराज मार्ग के किनारे के झरने से जल का पान करेंगे, उनका सिर गर्व से ऊंचा होगा.

Of the torrent in the way, will he drink; —For this cause, will he lift up [his] head.
