भजन संहिता 11

1 संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. दावीद की रचना मैंने याहवेह में आश्रय लिया है, फिर तुम मुझसे यह क्यों कह रहे हो: “पंछी के समान अपने पर्वत को उड़ जा.

[For the Chief Musician. By David.] In YHWH, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, "Flee as a bird to your mountain."

2 सावधान! दुष्ट ने अपना धनुष साध लिया है; और उसने धनुष पर बाण भी चढ़ा लिया है, कि अंधकार में सीधे लोगों की हत्या कर दे.

For, look, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.

3 यदि आधार ही नष्ट हो जाए, तो धर्मी के पास कौन सा विकल्प शेष रह जाता है?”

If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?

4 याहवेह अपने पवित्र मंदिर में हैं; उनका सिंहासन स्वर्ग में बसा है. उनकी दृष्टि सर्वत्र मनुष्यों को देखती है; उनकी सूक्ष्मदृष्टि हर एक को परखती रहती है.

YHWH is in his holy temple. YHWH is on his throne in heaven. His eyes look upon the poor. His eyes examine the descendants of Adam.

5 याहवेह की दृष्टि धर्मी एवं दुष्ट दोनों को परखती है, याहवेह के आत्मा हिंसा प्रिय पुरुषों से घृणा करते हैं.

YHWH examines the righteous, but the wicked and the one who loves violence his soul hates.

6 दुष्टों पर वह फन्दों की वृष्टि करेंगे, उनके प्याले में उनका अंश होगा अग्नि; गंधक तथा प्रचंड हवा.

On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.

7 याहवेह युक्त हैं, धर्मी ही उन्हें प्रिय हैं; धर्मी जन उनका मुंह देखने पाएंगे.

For YHWH is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face.
