फिलिप्पियों 1
1 मसीह येशु के दास पौलॉस और तिमोथियॉस की ओर से, मसीह येशु में उन पवित्र लोगों तथा फ़िलिप्पॉय नगरवासी, कलीसिया अध्यक्ष और सेवकों को.
Paul, and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus, who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
2 परमेश्वर हमारे पिता और प्रभु येशु मसीह की ओर से अनुग्रह व शांति प्राप्त हो.
Favor to you, and peace from God our Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ.
3 जब-जब मैं तुम्हें याद करता हूं, अपने परमेश्वर का आभार मानता हूं.
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you;
4 और आनंदपूर्वक अपनी हर एक प्रार्थना में तुम सबके लिए हमेशा परमेश्वर से सहायता की विनती करता हूं,
always in my prayers for you all, giving thanks with joy
5 क्योंकि तुम प्रारंभ ही से अब तक ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार के प्रचार में मेरे सहभागी रहे हो,
for your contribution for the gospel, from the first day till now:
6 मैं निश्चयपूर्वक कह सकता हूं कि परमेश्वर ने तुममें जो उत्तम काम प्रारंभ किया है, वह उसे मसीह येशु के दिन तक पूरा कर देंगे.
having this very confidence, that he who has begun a good work among you, will continue to perfect it till the day of Jesus Christ.
7 तुम्हारे लिए मेरी यह भावना सही ही है क्योंकि मेरे हृदय में तुम्हारा विशेष स्थान है. यह इसलिये कि मेरी बेड़ियों में तथा ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार की रक्षा और प्रमाण की प्रक्रिया में तुम सब अनुग्रह में मेरे सहभागी रहे हो.
As it is just for me to think this concerning you all, because you have me at heart, both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. You are all partakers of my gratitude;
8 इस विषय में परमेश्वर मेरे गवाह हैं कि मसीह येशु की सुकुमार करुणा में तुम्हारे लिए मैं कितना लालायित हूं.
for God is my witness how vehemently I long after you all, with the tender affections of Jesus Christ.
9 मेरी प्रार्थना यह है कि तुम्हारा प्रेम वास्तविक ज्ञान और विवेक में और भी अधिक समृद्ध होता जाए,
And this I pray, that your love may yet abound more and more, with knowledge and with all discretion;
10 ताकि तुम्हारी सहायता हो वह सब पहचान सकने में, जो सर्वश्रेष्ठ है, जिससे तुम मसीह के दिन तक सच्चे और निष्कलंक रह सको,
that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and inoffensive till the day of Christ;
11 तथा मसीह येशु के द्वारा प्रभावी धार्मिकता से परमेश्वर की महिमा और स्तुति के लिए फल लाओ.
filled with the fruit of righteousness, which is through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
12 प्रिय भाई बहनो, अब मैं तुम्हें बताना चाहता हूं कि मुझसे संबंधित हर एक परिस्थिति के कारण ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार के प्रचार में प्रगति ही हुई है.
Now I wish you to know, brethren that the things which have befallen me, have turned out rather to the advancement of the gospel.
13 परिणामस्वरूप कारागार के पहरेदार और अन्य सभी यह जान गए हैं कि मैं मसीह के लिए बंदी हूं.
So that my bonds are manifested to be on account of Christ, through the whole palace, and in all the other places.
14 मेरे बंदी होने के कारण प्रभु में अधिकांश साथी भाई बहन परमेश्वर का वचन साहस, तत्परता तथा निडरतापूर्वक सुनाने के लिए पहले से कहीं अधिक उत्साही हो गए हैं.
And the greater number of the brethren in the Lord, made confident by my bonds, have become much more bold to speak the word without fear.
15 यह सच है कि कुछ लोग तो मसीह का प्रचार जलन और होड़ के कारण करते हैं, किंतु कुछ अन्य भलाई के कारण.
Some, indeed, preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some, also, of good will.
16 ये वे हैं, जो यह प्रेम के लिए करते हैं क्योंकि ये जानते हैं कि मेरा चुनाव ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार की रक्षा के लिए हुआ है.
The latter, indeed, from love; knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel;
17 अन्य वे हैं, जो मसीह के ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार का प्रचार निश्छल भाव की बजाय अपने स्वार्थ में इस उद्देश्य से करते हैं कि इससे वे कारागार में मेरे दुःखों को बढ़ा सकें.
the former preach Christ out of contention, not sincerely, thinking to add affliction to my bonds.
18 तो क्या हुआ? हर तरह मसीह ही का प्रचार किया जाता है, चाहे दिखावे से या सच्चाई के भाव से. इससे तो मैं आनंदित ही होता हूं. हां, और मैं आनंदित होता रहूंगा,
What, then? Still in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; even in this I do rejoice; yes, and will rejoice:
19 क्योंकि मैं जानता हूं कि तुम्हारी प्रार्थनाओं और मसीह येशु के आत्मा की सहायता से मैं मुक्त हो जाऊंगा.
for I know that this will turn out to me for salvation, through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ--
20 मेरी हार्दिक इच्छा और आशा यह है कि मैं किसी भी परिस्थिति में लज्जित न होऊं, परंतु हमेशा की तरह अब भी निडरता में मेरे शरीर से, चाहे जीवित अवस्था में या मृत अवस्था में, मसीह की महिमा होती रहें.
that agreeably to my earnest expectation and hope, in nothing I shall be ashamed; but that with all boldness, as at all times, so now, also, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.
21 इसलिये कि मेरे लिए जीवित रहना मसीह है और मृत्यु लाभ है.
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
22 किंतु यदि मुझे शरीर में जीना ही है तो यह मेरे लिये फलपूर्ण सार्थक परिश्रम होगा. मैं क्या चुनूं मैं नहीं जानता!
But whether to live in the flesh would be to my advantage; or what to choose, I do not know:
23 मैं उधेड़-बुन में हूं. मेरी इच्छा तो यह है कि मैं शरीर त्याग कर मसीह के साथ जाता रहूं, यही मेरे लिए कहीं अधिक उत्तम है;
for I am in a strait between the two, having a strong desire to depart and be with Christ, which is by far the better.
24 फिर भी तुम्हारे लिए मेरा शरीर में जीवित रहना अधिक आवश्यक है.
Nevertheless, to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
25 मेरा दृढ़ विश्वास है कि मैं जीवित रहूंगा और तुम्हारे विकास और विश्वास में आनंद के कारण तुम्हारे बीच बना रहूंगा,
And being firmly persuaded of this, I know that I shall live and abide some time with you all, for the advancement of the joy of your faith;
26 कि तुमसे भेंट करने मेरा दोबारा आना मसीह येशु में मेरे प्रति तुम्हारे गौरव को और भी अधिक बढ़ा दे.
and that your boasting concerning me in Christ Jesus, may abound, through my coming again to you.
27 ध्यान रखो कि तुम्हारा स्वभाव केवल मसीह के ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार के अनुसार हो. चाहे मैं आकर तुमसे भेंट करूं या नहीं, मैं तुम्हारे विषय में यही सुनूं कि तुम एक भाव में स्थिर तथा एक मन होकर ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार के विश्वास के लिए एक साथ मेहनत करते हो.
Only behave in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ; that whether I shall come and see you, ot, being absent, shall hear of your affairs, that you are steadfast in one spirit, with one soul striving together for the faith of the gospel;
28 विरोधियों से किसी भी प्रकार भयभीत न हो—यह उनके विनाश का, किंतु तुम्हारे उद्धार का सबूत है और वह भी परमेश्वर की ओर से.
and not terrified in anything by your adversaries; which is to them a demonstration of perdition; but to you of salvation, and that from God.
29 तुम्हारे लिए मसीह के कारण यह वरदान दिया गया है कि तुम न केवल उनमें विश्वास करो, परंतु उनके लिए दुःख भी भोगो;
For to you it is graciously given, on the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
30 उसी जलन का अनुभव करते हुए, जिसे तुमने मुझमें देखा तथा जिसके मुझमें होने के विषय में तुम अब सुन रहे हो.
having the very same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
