सबने याकोब को दिलासा देने की कोशिश की, पर याकोब का दुःख कम न हुआ, और वे योसेफ़ के लिए रोते ही रहे. याकोब ने कहा, “मैं मरने के दिन तक (शीयोल तक) अपने पुत्र योसेफ़ के शोक में डूबा रहूंगा.” (Sheol h7585)
