नहेमायाह 12
1 शिअलतिएल के पुत्र ज़ेरुब्बाबेल और येशुआ के साथ लौटे पुरोहित एवं लेवियों के नाम ये हैं: सेराइयाह, येरेमियाह, एज़्रा,
And these [are] the priests and the Levites who came up with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2 अमरियाह, मल्लूख, हत्तुष,
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 शेकानियाह, रेहुम, मेरेमोथ,
Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 इद्दो, गिन्नेथौन, अबीयाह,
Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,
5 मियामिन, मोआदियाह, बिलगाह,
Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 शेमायाह, योइआरिब, येदाइयाह,
Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 सल्लू, अमोक, हिलकियाह और येदाइयाह, येशुआ के समय में ये सभी पुरोहितों के प्रधान और उनके रिश्तेदार थे.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah; these [are] heads of the priests and of their brothers in the days of Jeshua.

And the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, he [is] over the thanksgiving, and his brothers,

and Bakbukiah and Unni, their brothers, [are] opposite them in charges.

And Jeshua has begotten Joiakim, and Joiakim has begotten Eliashib, and Eliashib has begotten Joiada,
11 योइयादा योनातन का और योनातन यद्दुआ का पिता था.
and Joiada has begotten Jonathan, and Jonathan has begotten Jaddua.
12 योइआकिम के दिनों में पुरोहित और पितरों के मुखिया ये थे: सेराइयाह के कुल से मेराइयाह; येरेमियाह कुल से हनानियाह;
And in the days of Joiakim have been priests, heads of the fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 मल्लूख से योनातन; शेबानियाह से योसेफ़;

of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 इद्दो से ज़करयाह; गिन्नेथौन से मेशुल्लाम;
of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 अबीयाह से ज़ीकरी; मिनियामिन और मोआदियाह से पिलताई;
of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin; of Moadiah, Piltai;
18 बिलगाह से शम्मुआ; शेमायाह से योनातन;
of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jonathan;
19 योइआरिब से मत्तेनाइ; येदाइयाह से उज्जी;
and of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 सल्लू से कल्लाई; अमोक से एबर;
of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;
21 हिलकियाह से हशाबियाह, और येदाइयाह के कुल से नेथानेल.
of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.
22 लेवियों के संबंध में यह हुआ, कि उनके पितरों के प्रधानों का नाम एलियाशिब, योइयादा, योहानन और यद्दुआ के समय में लिखा गया था. उसी प्रकार पुरोहितों का नाम भी फ़ारस के राजा दारयावेश के समय में लिखा गया था.
The Levites, in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, are written, heads of fathers, and of the priests, in the kingdom of Darius the Persian.
23 लेवी के वंशज, जो पितरों के मुखिया थे, उनका नाम एलियाशिब के पुत्र योहानन के समय में लिखा जा चुका था.
Sons of Levi, heads of the fathers, are written on the scroll of the Chronicles even until the days of Johanan son of Eliashib;
24 हशाबियाह, शेरेबियाह और कदमिएल का पुत्र येशुआ लेवियों में प्रमुख थे. इनका चुनाव परमेश्वर के भक्त दावीद की आज्ञा के अनुसार समूहों में स्तुति और धन्यवाद देने के लिए किया गया था. इनके रिश्तेदार इनके सामने खड़े हुआ करते थे.
and heads of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, and their brothers, [are] opposite them, to give praise, to give thanks, by command of David the man of God, charge close by charge.
25 मत्तनियाह, बकबुकियाह, ओबदिया, मेशुल्लाम, तालमोन और अक्कूब द्वारपाल थे, जो फाटकों के पास के भंडारों की चौकसी करते रहते थे.
Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, [are] gatekeepers, keeping watch in the gatherings of the gates.

These [are] in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.

And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to make the dedication even with gladness, and with thanksgivings, and with singing, [with] cymbals, psalteries, and with harps;

and sons of the singers are gathered together even from the circuit around Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,

and from the house of Gilgal, and from fields of Geba and Azmaveth, the singers have built for villages for themselves around Jerusalem;

and the priests and the Levites are cleansed, and they cleanse the people, and the gates, and the wall.

And I bring up the heads of Judah on the wall, and appoint two great thanksgiving companies and processions. At the right, on the wall, to the Refuse Gate;

and after them goes Hoshaiah, and half of the heads of Judah,

and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,

Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;

and his brothers Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with instruments of song of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe [is] before them;

and by the Fountain Gate and in front of them, they have gone up by the steps of the City of David, at the going up of the wall beyond the house of David, and to the Water Gate eastward.

And the second thanksgiving company that is going opposite, and I after it, and half of the people on the wall from beyond the Tower of the Furnaces and to the broad wall,
39 फिर एफ्राईम फाटक की ओर, पुराने फाटक की ओर, मछली फाटक की ओर, हनानेल खंभे की ओर और शतक खंभे की ओर जाते हुए मछली फाटक तक. वे सभी पहरेदार फाटक पर जाकर ठहर गए.
and from beyond the Gate of Ephraim, and by the Old Gate, and by the Fish Gate, and the Tower of Hananeel, and the Tower of Meah, and to the Sheep Gate—and they have stood at the Prison Gate.

And the two thanksgiving companies stand in the house of God, and I and half of the prefects with me,
41 वहीं शोफ़ार लिए हुए पुरोहित थे एलियाकिम, मआसेइयाह, मिनियामिन, मिकाइयाह, एलिओएनाइ, ज़करयाह और हननियाह.
and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,
42 इनके अलावा वहां मआसेइयाह, शेमायाह, एलिएज़र, उज्जी, येहोहानन, मालखियाह, एलाम और एज़र नाम पुरोहित भी थे. यिज़राहियाह के निर्देशन में गायकों ने अपना गाना प्रस्तुत किया.
and Masseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer, and the singers sound, and Jezrahiah the inspector;

and they sacrifice on that day great sacrifices and rejoice, for God has made them rejoice [with] great joy, and also, the women and the children have rejoiced, and the joy of Jerusalem is heard—to a distance.

And certain are appointed on that day over the chambers for treasures, for raised-offerings, for first-fruits, and for tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for priests, and for Levites, for the joy of Judah [is] over the priests, and over the Levites, who are standing up.
45 इन सभी ने दावीद और उनके पुत्र शलोमोन द्वारा दिए गए आदेश के अनुसार गायकों और द्वारपालों के साथ मिलकर अपने परमेश्वर की आराधना और शुद्ध करने की सेवा की.
And the singers and the gatekeepers keep the charge of their God, even the charge of the cleansing—according to the command of David [and] his son Solomon,
46 क्योंकि पहले के समय में, यानी दावीद और आसफ के समय में गायकों के लिए एक प्रधान हुआ करता था, जब वे परमेश्वर के लिए स्तुति के गीत और धन्यवाद के गीत प्रस्तुत किया करते थे.
for in the days of David and Asaph of old [were] heads of the singers, and a song of praise and thanksgiving to God.
47 इस प्रकार ज़ेरुब्बाबेल और नेहेमियाह के शासनकाल में गायकों और द्वारपालों के लिए ठहराए गए हर दिन का भाग सभी इस्राएली चढ़ाया करते थे और लेवियों का भाग पवित्र करके दिया करते थे और तब लेवी अहरोन के वंशजों के लिए ठहराया गया भाग अलग रख दिया करते थे.
And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, are giving the portions of the singers, and of the gatekeepers, the matter of a day in its day, and are sanctifying to the Levites, and the Levites are sanctifying to the sons of Aaron.
