मत्ती 10
1 येशु ने अपने बारह शिष्यों को बुलाकर उन्हें अधिकार दिया कि वे दुष्टात्मा को निकाला करें तथा हर एक प्रकार के रोग और बीमारी से स्वस्थ करें.
And hee called his twelue disciples vnto him, and gaue them power against vncleane spirits, to cast them out, and to heale euery sickenesse, and euery disease.
2 इन बारह प्रेरितों के नाम इस प्रकार हैं: शिमओन जो पेतरॉस कहलाए, उनके भाई आन्द्रेयास, ज़ेबेदियॉस के पुत्र याकोब, उनके भाई योहन,
Nowe the names of the twelue Apostles are these. The first is Simon, called Peter, and Andrew his brother: Iames the sonne of Zebedeus, and Iohn his brother.
3 फ़िलिप्पॉस, बारथोलोमेयॉस, थोमॉस, चुंगी लेनेवाले मत्तियाह, हलफ़ेयॉस के पुत्र याकोब, थद्देइयॉस,
Philippe and Bartlemewe: Thomas, and Matthewe that Publicane: Iames the sonne of Alpheus, and Lebbeus whose surname was Thaddeus:
4 कनानी शिमओन तथा कारियोतवासी यहूदाह, जिसने उनके साथ धोखा किया.
Simon the Cananite, and Iudas Iscariot, who also betraied him.
5 येशु ने इन बारहों को इन निर्देशों के साथ विदा किया: “गैर-यहूदियों के मध्य न जाओ, और शमरिया प्रदेश के किसी भी नगर में प्रवेश न करना.
These twelue did Iesus send forth, and commanded them, saying, Goe not into the way of of the Gentiles, and into the cities of the Samaritans enter yee not:
6 परंतु इस्राएल घराने की खोई हुई भेड़ों के पास जाओ.
But goe rather to the lost sheepe of the house of Israel.
7 जाते हुए यह घोषणा करते जाओ, ‘स्वर्ग-राज्य समीप आ पहुंचा है.’
And as ye goe, preach, saying, The kingdome of heauen is at hand.
8 रोगियों को स्वस्थ करो, मरे हुओं को जिलाओ, कोढ़ रोगियों को शुद्ध करो, तथा दुष्टात्मा को निकालते जाओ. तुमने बिना दाम के प्राप्त किया है, बिना दाम लिए देते जाओ.
Heale the sicke: cleanse the lepers: raise vp the dead: cast out the deuils. Freely ye haue receiued, freely giue.
9 “यात्रा में अपने लिए सोना, चांदी तथा तांबे के सिक्कों को जमा न करना.
Possesse not golde, nor siluer, nor money in your girdels,
10 यात्रा के लिए न थैला, न वस्त्रों के दूसरे जोड़े, न जूते और न ही लाठी साथ ले जाना क्योंकि भरण-पोषण हर एक मज़दूर का अधिकार है.
Nor a scrippe for the iourney, neither two coates, neither shoes, nor a staffe: for the workeman is worthie of his meate.
11 किसी भी गांव या नगर में प्रवेश करने पर योग्य व्यक्ति की खोज करना और वहां से विदा होने तक उसी के अतिथि होकर रहना.
And into whatsoeuer citie or towne ye shall come, enquire who is worthy in it, and there abide till yee goe thence.
12 उस घर में प्रवेश करते समय उनके लिए मंगल कामना करना.
And when yee come into an house, salute the same.
13 यदि वह घर इस योग्य लगे तो उसके लिए शांति की आशीष देना; यदि वह इसके योग्य न लगे तो अपनी शांति की आशीष अपने पास लौट आने देना.
And if the house be worthy, let your peace come vpon it: but if it be not worthie, let your peace returne to you.
14 जो कोई तुम्हारा स्वागत न करे या तुम्हारी न सुने उस घर से या उस नगर से बाहर आते हुए अपने चरणों की धूल तक वहीं झाड़ देना.
And whosoeuer shall not receiue you, nor heare your woordes, when yee depart out of that house, or that citie, shake off the dust of your feete.
15 सच तो यह है कि न्याय-दिवस पर उस नगर की तुलना में सोदोम और गोमोरा का दंड कहीं अधिक सहनीय होगा.
Truely I say vnto you, it shall be easier for them of the lande of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of iudgement, then for that citie.
16 “याद रखो कि मैं तुम्हें इस प्रकार भेज रहा हूं मानो भेड़ियों के समूह में भेड़. इसलिये ज़रूरी है कि तुम सांप जैसे चालाक तथा कबूतर जैसे भोले हो.
Behold, I send you as sheepe in the middes of the wolues: be yee therefore wise as serpents, and innocent as doues.
17 सहजातियों से सावधान रहना क्योंकि वे ही तुम्हें पकड़कर स्थानीय न्यायालय को सौंप देंगे. उनके यहूदी सभागृहों में तुम्हें कोड़े लगाए जाएंगे.
But beware of men, for they will deliuer you vp to the Councils, and will scourge you in their Synagogues.
18 यहां तक कि मेरे कारण मेरे गवाह के रूप में तुम्हें राज्यपालों, शासकों और गैर-यहूदियों के सामने प्रस्तुत किया जाएगा.
And ye shall be brought to the gouernours and Kings for my sake, in witnes to them, and to the Gentiles.
19 जब तुम पकड़वाए जाओ तो यह चिंता न करना कि तुम्हें कैसे या क्या कहना होगा—सही शब्द तुम्हें उसी समय प्रदान किए जाएंगे,
But when they deliuer you vp, take no thought howe or what ye shall speake: for it shall be giuen you in that houre, what ye shall say.
20 क्योंकि वहां तुम नहीं परंतु तुम्हारे स्वर्गीय पिता का आत्मा तुम्हारे द्वारा शब्द देगा.
For it is not yee that speake, but the spirite of your father which speaketh in you.
21 “भाई अपने भाई को तथा पिता अपनी संतान को हत्या के लिए पकड़वाएगा. बालक अपने माता-पिता के विरुद्ध हो जाएंगे और उनकी हत्या का कारण बन जाएंगे.
And the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the sonne, and the children shall rise against their parents, and shall cause them to die.
22 मेरे नाम के कारण तुम सब की घृणा के पात्र बन जाओगे किंतु जो अंत तक स्थिर रहेगा, वही उद्धार पाएगा.
And yee shall be hated of all men for my Name: but he that endureth to the end, he shall be saued.
23 जब वे तुम्हें एक नगर में यातना देने लगें तब दूसरे नगर को भाग जाना, क्योंकि सच्चाई यह है कि इस्राएल राष्ट्र के एक नगर से दूसरे नगर तक तुम्हारी यात्रा पूरी भी न होगी कि मनुष्य का पुत्र आ जाएगा.
And when they persecute you in this citie, flee into another: for verely I say vnto you, yee shall not goe ouer all the cities of Israel, till the Sonne of man be come.
24 “शिष्य अपने गुरु से श्रेष्ठ नहीं और न दास अपने स्वामी से.
The disciple is not aboue his master, nor the seruant aboue his Lord.
25 शिष्य को यही काफ़ी है कि वह अपने गुरु के तुल्य हो जाए तथा दास अपने स्वामी के. यदि उन्होंने परिवार के प्रधान को ही बेलज़बूल घोषित कर दिया तो उस परिवार के सदस्यों को क्या कुछ नहीं कहा जाएगा!
It is ynough for the disciple to bee as his master is, and the seruaunt as his Lord. If they haue called the master of the house Beel-zebub, howe much more them of his housholde?
26 “इसलिये उनसे भयभीत न होना क्योंकि ऐसा कुछ भी छुपा नहीं, जिसे खोला न जाएगा या ऐसा कोई रहस्य नहीं, जिसे प्रकट न किया जाएगा.
Feare them not therefore: for there is nothing couered, that shall not be disclosed, nor hid, that shall not be knowen.
27 मैं जो कुछ तुम पर अंधकार में प्रकट कर रहा हूं, उसे प्रकाश में स्पष्ट करो और जो कुछ तुमसे कान में कहा गया है, उसकी घोषणा हर जगह करो.
What I tell you in darkenesse, that speake yee in light: and what yee heare in the eare, that preach yee on the houses.
28 उनसे भयभीत न हो, जो शरीर को तो नाश कर सकते हैं किंतु आत्मा को नाश करने में असमर्थ हैं. सही तो यह है कि भयभीत उनसे हो, जो आत्मा और शरीर दोनों को नर्क में नाश करने में समर्थ हैं. (Geenna g1067)
And feare yee not them which kill the bodie, but are nor able to kill the soule: but rather feare him, which is able to destroy both soule and bodie in hell. (Geenna g1067)
29 क्या दो गौरैयें बहुत सस्ती एक पैसे में नहीं बिकती? फिर भी ऐसा नहीं कि यदि उनमें से एक भी भूमि पर गिर जाए और तुम्हारे पिता को उसके विषय में मालूम न हो.
Are not two sparrowes sold for a farthing, and one of them shall not fal on the ground without your Father?
30 तुम्हारे सिर का तो एक-एक बाल गिना हुआ है.
Yea, and all the heares of your head are nombred.
31 इसलिये भयभीत न हो. तुम्हारा दाम अनेक गौरैया से कहीं अधिक है.
Feare ye not therefore, yee are of more value then many sparowes.
32 “जो कोई मुझे मनुष्यों के सामने स्वीकार करता है, मैं भी उसे अपने स्वर्गीय पिता के सामने स्वीकार करूंगा
Whosoeuer therefore shall confesse me before men, him will I confesse also before my Father which is in heauen.
33 किंतु जो कोई मुझे मनुष्यों के सामने अस्वीकार करता है, उसे मैं भी अपने स्वर्गीय पिता के सामने अस्वीकार करूंगा.
But whosoeuer shall denie me before me, him will I also denie before my Father which is in heauen.
34 “यह न समझो कि मैं पृथ्वी पर मेल-मिलाप के लिए आया हूं. मैं मेल-मिलाप के लिए नहीं, बंटवारे के लिए आया हूं.
Thinke not that I am come to sende peace into the earth: I came not to send peace, but the sworde.
35 मैं आया हूं कि “‘पुत्र को उसके पिता के विरुद्ध, पुत्री को उसकी माता के विरुद्ध तथा बहू को उसकी सास के विरुद्ध उकसाऊं.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in lawe.
36 मनुष्य के शत्रु उसके परिवार के सदस्य ही होंगे.’
And a mans enemies shall be they of his owne housholde.
37 “वह, जिसे मेरे बजाय अपने माता-पिता से अधिक लगाव है, मेरे योग्य नहीं है, तथा जिसे मेरी बजाय अपने पुत्र-पुत्री से अधिक प्रेम है, वह मेरे योग्य नहीं.
He that loueth father or mother more then me, is not worthie of me. And he that loueth sonne, or daughter more then mee, is not worthie of me.
38 वह, जो अपना क्रूस स्वयं उठाए हुए मेरा अनुसरण नहीं करता, मेरे योग्य नहीं.
And hee that taketh not his crosse, and followeth after me, is not worthie of me.
39 वह, जो यह समझता है कि उसने जीवन पा लिया है, वह उसे खो देगा तथा वह, जिसने मेरे लिए अपना जीवन खो दिया है, उसे सुरक्षित पाएगा.
He that will finde his life, shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake, shall finde it.
40 “वह, जो तुम्हें स्वीकार करता है, मुझे स्वीकार करता है, और जो मुझे स्वीकार करता है, उन्हें स्वीकार करता है, जिन्होंने मुझे भेजा है.
He that receiueth you, receiueth me: and hee that receiueth mee, receiueth him that hath sent me.
41 जो कोई एक भविष्यवक्ता को एक भविष्यवक्ता के नाम में स्वीकार करता है, एक भविष्यवक्ता का ईनाम प्राप्त करेगा; और वह, जो एक धर्मी व्यक्ति को एक धर्मी व्यक्ति के नाम में स्वीकार करता है, धर्मी व्यक्ति का ही ईनाम प्राप्त करेगा.
Hee that receiueth a Prophet in the name of a Prophet, shall receiue a Prophetes rewarde: and hee that receiueth a righteous man, in the name of a righteous man, shall receiue the rewarde of a righteous man.
42 जो कोई इन मामूली व्यक्तियों में से किसी एक को एक कटोरा शीतल जल मात्र इसलिये दे कि वह मेरा शिष्य है, तुम सच तो जानो, वह अपना ईनाम नहीं खोएगा.”
And whosoeuer shall giue vnto one of these litle ones to drinke a cuppe of colde water onely, in the name of a disciple, verely I say vnto you, he shall not lose his rewarde.
