मरकुस 9
1 तब मसीह येशु ने उनसे कहा, “मैं तुम पर एक अटल सच्चाई प्रकट कर रहा हूं: यहां उपस्थित व्यक्तियों में कुछ ऐसे हैं, जो मृत्यु तब तक न चखेंगे, जब तक वे परमेश्वर के राज्य को सामर्थ्य के साथ आया हुआ न देख लें.”
And He said unto them, Verily I tell you, that there are some of those who stand here, that shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
2 छः दिन बाद मसीह येशु केवल पेतरॉस, याकोब तथा योहन को एक ऊंचे पर्वत पर ले गए कि उन्हें वहां एकांत मिल सके. वहां उन्हीं के सामने मसीह येशु का रूपान्तरण हुआ.
And after six days Jesus taketh with Him Peter, and James, and John, and bringeth them up by themselves to a high mountain apart; and was transfigured before them:
3 उनके वस्त्र उज्जवल तथा इतने अधिक सफ़ेद हो गए कि पृथ्वी पर कोई भी किसी भी रीति से इतनी उज्जवल सफेदी नहीं ला सकता.
and his raiment shone, being exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller on earth can whiten.
4 उन्हें वहां मोशेह के साथ एलियाह दिखाई दिए. वे मसीह येशु के साथ बातें कर रहे थे.
And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.
5 यह देख पेतरॉस बोल उठे, “रब्बी! हमारा यहां होना कितना सुखद है! हम यहां तीन मंडप बनाएं—एक आपके लिए, एक मोशेह के लिए तथा एक एलियाह के लिए.”
Then said Peter to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: let us make three tabernacles; one for Thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias:
6 पेतरॉस को यह मालूम ही न था कि वह क्या कहे जा रहे हैं—इतने अत्यधिक भयभीत हो गए थे शिष्य!
for he knew not what to say, for they were sore afraid.
7 तभी एक बादल ने वहां अचानक प्रकट होकर उन्हें ढक लिया और उसमें से निकला एक शब्द सुनाई दिया, “यह मेरा पुत्र है—मेरा परम प्रिय—जो वह कहता है, उस पर ध्यान दो!”
And there was a cloud overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, hear ye Him.
8 तभी उन्होंने देखा कि मसीह येशु के अतिरिक्त वहां कोई भी न था.
And immediately looking round about, they saw no more of any one, but Jesus alone with them.
9 पर्वत से नीचे उतरते हुए मसीह येशु ने शिष्यों को सावधान किया कि जब तक मनुष्य का पुत्र मरे हुओं में से जीवित न हो जाए, तब तक जो उन्होंने देखा है उसकी चर्चा किसी से न करें.
And as they came down from the mountain, He charged them to tell no one what they had seen, till after the Son of man were risen from the dead.
10 इस घटना को उन्होंने अपने तक ही सीमित रखा. हां, वे इस विषय पर विचार-विमर्श अवश्य करते रहे कि मरे हुओं में से जीवित होने का मतलब क्या हो सकता है.
And they laid hold on that expression, querying among themselves, what means the rising from the dead?
11 शिष्यों ने मसीह येशु से प्रश्न किया, “क्या कारण है कि शास्त्री कहते हैं कि पहले एलियाह का आना अवश्य है?”
Then they asked Him, saying, Why do the scribes say, that Elias must come first?
12 मसीह येशु ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, “सच है. एलियाह ही पहले आएगा तथा सब कुछ व्यवस्थित करेगा. अब यह बताओ: पवित्र शास्त्र में मनुष्य के पुत्र के विषय में यह वर्णन क्यों है कि उसे अनेक यातनाएं दी जाएंगी तथा उसे तुच्छ समझा जाएगा?
And He answered and told them, Elias doth indeed come first, and settle all things: He told them likewise how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things and be used contemptuously.
13 सुनो! वास्तव में एलियाह आ चुके है और उन्होंने उनके साथ मनमाना व्यवहार किया—ठीक जैसा कि वर्णन किया गया था.”
But I tell you, that Elias is come, and they have done to him whatever they would, as it is written of him.
14 जब ये तीन लौटकर शेष शिष्यों के पास आए तो देखा कि एक बड़ी भीड़ उन शिष्यों के चारों ओर जमा हो गई है और शास्त्री वाद-विवाद किए जा रहे थे.
And when He came to the other disciples, He saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes disputing with them.
15 मसीह येशु को देखते ही भीड़ को आश्चर्य हुआ और वह नमस्कार करने उनकी ओर दौड़ पड़ी.
And immediately all the people, when they saw Him, were astonished; and running to Him, saluted Him.
16 मसीह येशु ने शिष्यों से पूछा, “किस विषय पर उनसे वाद-विवाद कर रहे थे तुम?”
And he asked the scribes, What are ye disputing about?
17 भीड़ में से एक व्यक्ति ने उनसे कहा, “गुरुवर, मैं अपने पुत्र को आपके पास लाया था. उसमें समाई हुई आत्मा ने उसे गूंगा बना दिया है.
And one of the multitude answered, and said, Master I have brought unto thee my son, who is possessed by a dumb spirit:
18 जब यह दुष्टात्मा उस पर प्रबल होती है, उसे भूमि पर पटक देती है. उसके मुंह से फेन निकलने लगता है, वह दांत पीसने लगता है तथा उसका शरीर ऐंठ जाता है. मैंने आपके शिष्यों से इसे निकालने की विनती की थी किंतु वे असफल रहे.”
and wherever it seizeth him, it convulseth him; and he fometh, and gnasheth his teeth, and thus he pineth away: and I desired thy disciples to cast him out, and they could not.
19 मसीह येशु ने भीड़ से कहा, “अरे ओ अविश्वासी और बिगड़ी हुई पीढ़ी!” प्रभु येशु ने कहा, “मैं कब तक तुम्हारे साथ रहूंगा, कब तक धीरज रखूंगा? यहां लाओ बालक को!”
And He answered and said, O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I bear with you? bring him to me.
20 लोग बालक को उनके पास ले आए. मसीह येशु पर दृष्टि पड़ते ही दुष्टात्मा ने बालक में ऐंठन उत्पन्न कर दी. वह भूमि पर गिरकर लोटने लगा और उसके मुंह से फेन आने लगा.
And they brought him to Him: and as soon as he saw Him, immediately the spirit threw him into convulsions: and he fell upon the ground, and rolled about foming.
21 मसीह येशु ने बालक के पिता से पूछा, “यह सब कब से हो रहा है?” “बचपन से,” उसने उत्तर दिया.
And He asked his father, How long is it since this befel him? And he said, From a child.
22 “इस दुष्टात्मा ने उसे हमेशा जल और आग दोनों ही में फेंककर नाश करने की कोशिश की है. यदि आपके लिए कुछ संभव है, हम पर दया कर हमारी सहायता कीजिए!”
And it has often thrown him both into the fire and into the waters to destroy him. But if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us and help us.
23 “यदि आपके लिए!” मसीह येशु ने कहा, “सब कुछ संभव है उसके लिए, जो विश्वास करता है.”
And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
24 ऊंचे शब्द में बालक के पिता ने कहा, “मैं विश्वास करता हूं. मेरे अविश्वास को दूर करने में मेरी सहायता कीजिए.”
And the father of the child immediately cried out and said with tears, Lord, I believe, help thou my unbelief.
25 जब मसीह येशु ने देखा कि और अधिक लोग बड़ी शीघ्रतापूर्वक वहां इकट्ठा होते जा रहे हैं, उन्होंने दुष्टात्मा को डांटते हुए कहा, “ओ गूंगे और बहिरे दुष्टात्मा, मेरा आदेश है कि इसमें से बाहर निकल जा और इसमें फिर कभी प्रवेश न करना.”
when Jesus saw the people flock together, He rebuked the impure spirit, and said to him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I command thee, Come out of him, and enter no more into him.
26 उस बालक को और भी अधिक भयावह ऐंठन में डालकर चिल्लाते हुए वह दुष्टात्मा उसमें से निकल गया. वह बालक ऐसा हो गया मानो उसके प्राण ही निकल गए हों. कुछ तो यहां तक कहने लगे, “इसकी मृत्यु हो गई है.”
And when he had rored and vehemently convulsed him, he came out of him: and the child was as one dead, so that many said, that he was dead.
27 किंतु मसीह येशु ने बालक का हाथ पकड़ उसे उठाया और वह खड़ा हो गया.
But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.
28 जब मसीह येशु ने उस घर में प्रवेश किया एकांत पाकर शिष्यों ने उनसे पूछा, “हम उस दुष्टात्मा को क्यों नहीं निकाल सके?”
And when He was come into the house, his disciples asked Him in private, Why could not we cast him out?
29 येशु ने उत्तर दिया, “सिवाय प्रार्थना के इस वर्ग निकाला ही नहीं जा सकता.”
And He said unto them, This kind cannot be cast out, but by prayer and fasting.
30 वहां से निकलकर उन्होंने गलील प्रदेश का मार्ग लिया. मसीह येशु नहीं चाहते थे कि किसी को भी इस यात्रा के विषय में मालूम हो.
And they departed from thence and passed through Galilee, and He was not willing that any should know it;
31 इसलिये कि मसीह येशु अपने शिष्यों को यह शिक्षा दे रहे थे, “मनुष्य का पुत्र मनुष्यों के हाथों पकड़वा दिया जाएगा. वे उसकी हत्या कर देंगे. तीन दिन बाद वह मरे हुओं में से जीवित हो जाएगा.”
for He was instructing his disciples, and told them, the Son of man is going to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will put Him to death; and on the third day, after his being put to death, He will rise again.
32 किंतु यह विषय शिष्यों की समझ से परे रहा तथा वे इसका अर्थ पूछने में डर भी रहे थे.
But they knew not his meaning, and were afraid to ask Him.
33 कफ़रनहूम नगर पहुंचकर जब उन्होंने घर में प्रवेश किया मसीह येशु ने शिष्यों से पूछा, “मार्ग में तुम किस विषय पर विचार-विमर्श कर रहे थे?”
And he came to Capernaum; and when He was in the house, He asked them, What were ye disputing about among yourselves by the way?
34 शिष्य मौन बने रहे क्योंकि मार्ग में उनके विचार-विमर्श का विषय था उनमें बड़ा कौन है.
But they held their peace; for they had been disputing with each other by the way who should be the greatest.
35 मसीह येशु ने बैठते हुए बारहों को अपने पास बुलाकर उनसे कहा, “यदि किसी की इच्छा बड़ा बनने की है, वह छोटा हो जाए और सबका सेवक बने.”
So He sat down and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any one would be first, let him be last of all, and servant of all.
36 उन्होंने एक बालक को उनके मध्य खड़ा किया और फिर उसे गोद में लेकर शिष्यों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा,
And He took a child and set him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms He said unto them,
37 “जो कोई ऐसे बालक को मेरे नाम में स्वीकार करता है, मुझे स्वीकार करता है तथा जो कोई मुझे स्वीकार करता है, वह मुझे नहीं परंतु मेरे भेजनेवाले को स्वीकार करता है.”
Whoever shall receive one of these little children in my name, receiveth me; and whosoever receiveth me, receiveth not me only, but Him that sent me.
38 योहन ने मसीह येशु को सूचना दी, “गुरुवर, हमने एक व्यक्ति को आपके नाम में दुष्टात्मा निकालते हुए देखा है. हमने उसे रोकने का प्रयास किया क्योंकि वह हममें से नहीं है.”
But John answered Him and said, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name, who doth not follow us; and we forbade him, because he followeth not us.
39 “मत रोको उसे!” मसीह येशु ने उन्हें आज्ञा दी, “कोई भी, जो मेरे नाम में अद्भुत काम करता है, दूसरे ही क्षण मेरी निंदा नहीं कर सकता
But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no one, that worketh a miracle in my name, and can presently speak evil of me:
40 क्योंकि वह व्यक्ति, जो हमारे विरुद्ध नहीं है, हमारे पक्ष में ही है.
for he that is not against us, is for us.
41 यदि कोई तुम्हें एक कटोरा जल इसलिये पिलाता है कि तुम मसीह के शिष्य हो तो मैं तुम पर एक अटल सच्चाई प्रकट कर रहा हूं; वह अपना प्रतिफल न खोएगा.
For whosoever shall give you but a cup of water to drink, for my sake; because ye are Christ's, I assure you, he shall not lose his reward.
42 “और यदि कोई इन मासूम बालकों के, जिन्होंने मुझ पर विश्वास रखा है, पतन का कारण बने, उसके लिए सही यही होगा कि उसके गले में चक्की का पाट बांध उसे समुद्र में फेंक दिया जाए.
And whosoever shall cause one of these little ones, that believe in me, to offend, it were better for him, if a milstone were laid upon his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
43 यदि तुम्हारा हाथ तुम्हारे लिए ठोकर का कारण बने तो उसे काट फेंको. तुम्हारे लिए सही यह होगा कि तुम एक विकलांग के रूप में जीवन में प्रवेश करो, बजाय इसके कि तुम दोनों हाथों के होते हुए नर्क में जाओ, जहां आग कभी नहीं बुझती, [ (Geenna g1067)
And if thy hand cause thee to offend, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands, to go into hell, into the fire that will never be extinguished; (Geenna g1067)
44 जहां उनका कीड़ा कभी नहीं मरता, जहां आग कभी नहीं बुझती].
where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
45 यदि तुम्हारा पांव तुम्हारे लिए ठोकर का कारण हो जाता है उसे काट फेंको. तुम्हारे लिए सही यही होगा कि तुम लंगड़े के रूप में जीवन में प्रवेश करो, बजाय इसके कि तुम दो पांवों के होते हुए नर्क में फेंके जाओ, [ (Geenna g1067)
And if thy foot cause thee to offend, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life lame, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the inextinguishable fire; (Geenna g1067)
46 जहां उनका कीड़ा कभी नहीं मरता, जहां आग कभी नहीं बुझती].
where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 यदि तुम्हारी आंख तुम्हारे लिए ठोकर का कारण बने तो उसे निकाल फेंको! तुम्हारे लिए सही यही होगा कि तुम एक आंख के साथ परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश करो, बजाय इसके कि तुम दोनों आंखों के साथ नर्क में फेंके जाओ, (Geenna g1067)
And if thine eye cause thee to offend, cast it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell-fire; (Geenna g1067)
48 जहां “‘उनका कीड़ा कभी नहीं मरता, जहां आग कभी नहीं बुझती.’
where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
49 हर एक व्यक्ति आग द्वारा नमकीन किया जाएगा.
For every one shall be as it were salted by fire, and every sacrifice shall be seasoned as with salt.
50 “नमक एक आवश्यक वस्तु है, किंतु यदि नमक अपना खारापन खो बैठे तो किस वस्तु से उसका खारापन वापस कर सकोगे? तुम स्वयं में नमक तथा आपस में मेल-मिलाप बनाए रखो.”
Salt is useful, but if the salt become insipid, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt therefore in yourselves, and as a proof of it be at peace one with another.
