मरकुस 12
1 मसीह येशु ने उन्हें दृष्टान्तों के माध्यम से शिक्षा देना प्रारंभ किया: “एक व्यक्ति ने बगीचे में अंगूर की बेल लगाई, उसके चारों ओर बाड़ लगाई, उसमें रसकुंड खोदा, रक्षा करने का मचान बनाया और उसे किसानों को पट्टे पर देकर यात्रा पर चला गया.
And he began to speak to them in parables: A man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge around it, and digged a wine-press, and built a tower, and let it out to vine-dressers, and went into another country.
2 उपज के अवसर पर उसने अपने एक दास को उन किसानों के पास भेजा कि वह उनसे उपज का कुछ भाग ले आए.
And at the proper time, he sent a servant to the vine-dressers, that he might receive from the vine-dressers of the fruit of the vineyard.
3 किसानों ने उस दास को पकड़ा, उसकी पिटाई की तथा उसे खाली हाथ लौटा दिया.
And they took him and scourged him, and sent him away without any thing.
4 उस व्यक्ति ने फिर एक अन्य दास को भेजा. किसानों ने उसके सिर पर प्रहार कर उसे घायल कर दिया तथा उसके साथ शर्मनाक व्यवहार किया.
And again he sent to them another servant; and at him they threw stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.
5 उस व्यक्ति ने फिर एक और दास को उनके पास भेजा, जिसकी तो उन्होंने हत्या ही कर दी. उसने अन्य बहुत दासों को भेजे, उन्होंने कुछ को मारा-पीटा तथा बाकियों की हत्या कर दी.
And again he sent another; and him they killed. And he sent many others, some of whom they scourged, and some they killed.
6 “अब उसके पास भेजने के लिए एक ही व्यक्ति शेष था—उसका प्रिय पुत्र. अंततः उसने उसे ही उनके पास भेज दिया. उसका विचार था, ‘वे मेरे पुत्र का तो सम्मान करेंगे.’
Therefore, having yet one son, his beloved, he sent him also to them last, saying, They will reverence my son.
7 “उन किसानों ने आपस में विचार किया, ‘सुनो, यह वारिस है. यदि इसकी हत्या कर दें तो यह संपत्ति ही हमारी हो जाएगी!’
But those vine-dressers said one to another, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.
8 उन्होंने उसकी हत्या कर दी और उसे बारी के बाहर निकालकर फेंक दिया.
And they took him, and killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard.
9 “अब बगीचे के स्वामी के सामने कौन सा विकल्प शेष रह गया है? वह आकर उन किसानों का नाश करेगा और उद्यान का पट्टा अन्य किसानों को दे देगा.
What, then, will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy those vine-dressers, and give his vineyard to others.
10 क्या तुमने पवित्र शास्त्र का यह लेख नहीं पढ़ा: “‘जिस पत्थर को राजमिस्त्रियों ने निकम्मा घोषित कर दिया था, वही कोने का मुख्य पत्थर बन गया;
Have you not read this scripture: The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner;
11 यह प्रभु की ओर से हुआ, और यह हमारी दृष्टि में अद्भुत है’?”
this was from the Lord, and it is wondrous in our eyes?
12 फलस्वरूप प्रधान पुरोहित तथा शास्त्री प्रभु येशु को पकड़ने की योजना में जुट गए, क्योंकि वे यह समझ गए थे कि प्रभु येशु ने उन पर ही यह दृष्टांत कहा है. किंतु उन्हें भीड़ का भय था. इसलिए इस अवसर पर वे मसीह येशु को छोड़ वहां से चले गए.
And they sought to take him, but feared the multitude; for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them; and they left him, and went away.
13 यहूदियों ने मसीह येशु के पास कुछ फ़रीसियों तथा हेरोदेस समर्थकों को भेजा कि मसीह येशु को उनकी ही किसी बात में फंसाया जा सके.
And they sent to him some of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, that they might entrap him in his words.
14 उन्होंने आकर मसीह येशु से यह प्रश्न किया, “गुरुवर, यह तो हमें मालूम है कि आप एक सच्चे व्यक्ति हैं. आपको किसी के समर्थन की ज़रूरत नहीं है क्योंकि आप में पक्षपात है ही नहीं. आप पूरी सच्चाई में परमेश्वर संबंधी शिक्षा देते हैं. हमें यह बताइए: कयसर को कर देना व्यवस्था के अनुसार है या नहीं?
And they came and said to him: Teacher, we know that you are true, and that you care for no one; for you do not regard the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to give tribute to Cæsar, or not?
15 हम कर दें या नहीं?” उनका पाखंड भांप कर मसीह येशु ने उनसे कहा, “क्यों मुझे फंसाने की युक्ति कर रहे हो? दीनार की मुद्रा लाकर मुझे दिखाओ.”
Must we give, or must we not give? But, knowing their hypocrisy, he said to them: Why do you tempt me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.
16 वे मसीह येशु के पास एक मुद्रा ले आए. मसीह येशु ने वह मुद्रा उन्हें दिखाते हुए उनसे प्रश्न किया, “यह छाप तथा नाम किसका है?” “कयसर का,” उन्होंने उत्तर दिया.
They brought it; and he said to them: Whose image and superscription is this? They said to him: Cæsar’s.
17 मसीह येशु ने उनसे कहा, “जो कयसर का है, वह कयसर को दो और जो परमेश्वर का, वह परमेश्वर को.” यह सुन वे दंग रह गए.
And Jesus answered and said to them: Give to Cæsar the things that are Cæsar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they were astonished at him.
18 फिर सदूकी लोग, जो पुनरुत्थान में विश्वास नहीं करते, प्रभु येशु के पास आए. उन्होंने उनसे प्रश्न किया,
And the Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, came to him, and put a question to him, saying:
19 “गुरुवर, हमारे लिए मोशेह के निर्देश हैं यदि किसी निःसंतान पुरुष का पत्नी के रहते हुए निधन हो जाए तो उसका भाई उस स्त्री से विवाह कर अपने भाई के लिए संतान पैदा करे.
Teacher, Moses wrote for us, If any man’s brother die, and leave a wife, and leave no children, his brother shall take his wife, and raise up children for his brother.
20 इसी संदर्भ में एक घटना इस प्रकार है: सात भाई थे. पहले ने विवाह किया और बिना संतान ही चल बसा.
Now there were seven brothers; and the first took a wife, and dying, left no child;
21 दूसरे भाई ने उसकी पत्नी से विवाह कर लिया, वह भी बिना संतान ही चल बसा. तीसरे भाई की भी यही स्थिति रही.
and the second took her, and he died, and left no child; and the third, likewise;
22 इस प्रकार सातों भाइयों की मृत्यु बिना संतान ही हो गई. इसके बाद उस स्त्री की भी मृत्यु हो गई.
and the seven took her, and left no child. Last of all, the woman also died.
23 अब यह बताइए कि पुनरुत्थान पर वह किसकी पत्नी कहलाएगी? क्योंकि उसका विवाह तो सातों भाइयों से हुआ था.”
Therefore, in the resurrection, when they rise, of which of them shall she be the wife? for the seven had her as a wife.
24 मसीह येशु ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, “तुम्हारी इस भूल का कारण यह है कि तुमने न तो पवित्र शास्त्र के लेखों को समझा है और न ही परमेश्वर के सामर्थ्य को.
And Jesus answered and said to them: Do you not err for this reason, because you know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?
25 पुनरुत्थान में लोग न तो विवाहित होते हैं और न ही वहां विवाह कराये जाते हैं—वहां वे स्वर्गदूतों के समान होंगे.
For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels in heaven.
26 जहां तक मरे हुओं के दुबारा जी उठने का प्रश्न है, क्या तुमने मोशेह के ग्रंथ में नहीं पढ़ा, जहां जलती हुई झाड़ी का वर्णन है? परमेश्वर ने मोशेह से कहा था, ‘मैं ही अब्राहाम का परमेश्वर, यित्सहाक का परमेश्वर तथा याकोब का परमेश्वर हूं’?
But concerning the dead, that they do rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, at The Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27 आप लोग बड़ी गंभीर भूल में पड़े हैं! वह मरे हुओं के नहीं परंतु जीवितों के परमेश्वर हैं.”
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Therefore, you do greatly err.
28 उसी समय एक शास्त्री वहां से जा रहा था. उसने उनका वार्तालाप सुन लिया. यह देख कि मसीह येशु ने उन्हें सटीक उत्तर दिया है, उसने मसीह येशु से पूछा, “सबसे बड़ी आज्ञा कौन सी है?”
And one of the scribes came, and heard them reasoning together; and perceiving that he had answered them well, he asked him: Which is the first commandment of all?
29 मसीह येशु ने उत्तर दिया, “सबसे बड़ी आज्ञा है: ‘सुनो, इस्राएलियो! प्रभु हमारे परमेश्वर अद्वितीय प्रभु हैं.
And Jesus answered him: The first commandment of all is, Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord.
30 तुम प्रभु तुम्हारे परमेश्वर से अपने सारे हृदय, सारे प्राण, सारे समझ तथा सारी शक्ति से प्रेम करो.’
And you shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart, and with your whole soul, and with your whole mind, and with your whole strength. This is the first commandment.
31 दूसरी आज्ञा है, ‘तुम अपने पड़ोसी से अपने ही समान प्रेम करो.’ इनसे बढ़कर कोई और आज्ञा है ही नहीं.”
And the second, which is like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.
32 उस शास्त्री ने मसीह येशु से कहा, “अति सुंदर, गुरुवर! आपका कहना हमेशा ही सत्य है. वही एकमात्र हैं—उनके अतिरिक्त और कोई नहीं है
And the scribe said to him: Teacher, in truth you have well said, that there is one God, and there is no other beside him;
33 तथा उनसे ही सारे हृदय, सारी समझ तथा सारी शक्ति से प्रेम करना, तथा अपने पड़ोसी से अपने समान प्रेम करना सभी होमबलियों तथा बलिदानों से बढ़कर है.”
and to love him with the whole heart, and with the whole understanding, and with the whole soul, and with the whole strength, and to love one’s neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices.
34 जब मसीह येशु ने यह देखा कि उसने बुद्धिमानी से उत्तर दिया है, उन्होंने उससे कहा, “तुम परमेश्वर के राज्य से दूर नहीं हो.” इसके बाद किसी में भी उनसे और प्रश्न करने का साहस न रहा.
And Jesus perceiving that he answered with understanding, said to him: You are not far from the kingdom of God. And no one, after that, ventured to ask him a question.
35 मंदिर के आंगन, में शिक्षा देते हुए मसीह येशु ने उनके सामने यह प्रश्न रखा, “शास्त्री यह क्यों कहते हैं कि मसीह दावीद के वंशज हैं?
And Jesus, as he was teaching in the temple, answered and said: How say the scribes that the Christ is the son of David?
36 दावीद ने, पवित्र आत्मा, में आत्मलीन हो कहा था: “‘प्रभु परमेश्वर ने मेरे प्रभु से कहा: “मेरी दायीं ओर बैठे रहो जब तक मैं तुम्हारे शत्रुओं को तुम्हारे अधीन न कर दूं.”’
For David himself said by the Holy Spirit: The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, till I make thy enemies thy footstool.
37 स्वयं दावीद उन्हें प्रभु कहकर संबोधित कर रहे हैं इसलिये किस भाव में प्रभु दावीद के पुत्र हुए?” भीड़ उनके इस वाद-विवाद का आनंद ले रही थी.
David himself, then, calls him Lord; and how is he his son? And the great multitude heard him with pleasure.
38 आगे शिक्षा देते हुए मसीह येशु ने कहा, “उन शास्त्रियों से सावधान रहना, जो लंबे ढीले लहराते वस्त्र पहने हुए घूमा करते हैं, सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर सम्मानपूर्ण नमस्कार की आशा करते है.
And he said to them in his teaching: Beware of the scribes, who love to walk in robes, and love salutations in the markets,
39 वे यहूदी सभागृहों में मुख्य आसन और दावतों में मुख्य स्थान पसंद करते है.
and the first seats in the synagogues, and the first places at suppers;
40 वे विधवाओं के घर हड़प जाते हैं तथा मात्र दिखावे के उद्देश्य से लम्बी-लम्बी प्रार्थनाएं करते हैं. कठोर होगा इनका दंड!”
who eat up the houses of widows, and, as a pretext, make long prayers: these shall receive more abundant condemnation.
41 मसीह येशु मंदिर के कोष के सामने बैठे हुए थे. वह देख रहे थे कि लोग मंदिर कोष में किस प्रकार दान दे रहे हैं. अनेक धनी लोग बड़ी-बड़ी राशि डाल रहे थे.
And Jesus, sitting opposite the treasury, observed how the multitude threw money into the treasury. And many rich persons threw in much.
42 एक निर्धन विधवा भी वहां आई, और उसने तांबे की दो छोटे सिक्के डाले हैं.
And there came one poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
43 मसीह येशु ने अपने शिष्यों का ध्यान आकर्षित करते हुए कहा, “सच यह है कि इस निर्धन विधवा ने कोष में उन सभी से बढ़कर दिया है.
And he called his disciples to him, and said to them: Verily I say to you, this poor widow has thrown in more than all that have thrown into the treasury.
44 क्योंकि शेष सभी ने तो अपने धन की बढ़ती में से दिया है, किंतु इस विधवा ने अपनी निर्धनता में से अपनी सारी संपत्ति ही दे दी—यह उसकी सारी जीविका थी.”
For all have thrown in out of their abundance; but she, out of her poverty, has thrown in all that she had, her whole living.
