मलाकी 3
1 “मैं अपने-अपने संदेशवाहक को भेजूंगा, जो मेरे आने के पहले मेरा मार्ग तैयार करेगा. तब वह प्रभु जिसकी खोज तुम कर रहे हो, वे अचानक अपने मंदिर में आ जाएंगे; वाचा का वह संदेशवाहक जिसे तुम चाहते हो, वह आ जाएगा,” सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का कहना है.
“Behold, I am sending My messenger, And he has prepared a way before Me, And suddenly the Lord whom you are seeking comes into His temple, Even the Messenger of the Covenant, Whom you are desiring, Behold, He is coming,” said YHWH of Hosts.
2 पर उसके आने के दिन को कौन सह सकता है? जब वह प्रगट होगा, तो उसके आगे कौन खड़ा रह सकेगा? क्योंकि वह सोनार की भट्टी के समान प्रचंड या धोबी के साबुन के जैसा होगा.
“And who is bearing the day of His coming? And who is standing in His appearing? For He [is] as fire of a refiner, And as soap of a fuller.
3 वह चांदी को साफ करनेवाला और शुद्ध करनेवाला के रूप में बैठेगा; वह लेवियों को शुद्ध करेगा और उन्हें सोने और चांदी के समान साफ करेगा. तब याहवेह के पास लोग होंगे, जो धर्मीपन में भेंट चढ़ाएंगे,
And He has sat, a refiner and purifier of silver, And He has purified the sons of Levi, And has refined them as gold and as silver, And they have been bringing a present near to YHWH in righteousness.
4 तब यहूदिया तथा येरूशलेम के लोगों की भेंट को याहवेह ऐसे ग्रहण करेंगे, जैसे पहले के दिनों में और पहले के वर्षों में ग्रहण करते थे.
And the present of Judah and Jerusalem has been sweet to YHWH, As in days of old, and as in former years.
5 “तब मैं तुम्हें परखने के लिये आऊंगा. मैं तुरंत उन लोगों के विरुद्ध गवाही दूंगा, जो जादू-टोन्हा करते, व्यभिचार करते, झूठी गवाही देते, और जो मजदूरों की मजदूरी को दबाते, जो विधवाओं और अनाथों पर अत्याचार करते, और तुम्हारे बीच रहनेवाले परदेशियों का न्याय बिगाड़ते, और मेरा भय नहीं मानते हैं,” सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का कहना है.
And I have drawn near to you for judgment, And I have been a witness, Making haste against sorcerers, and against adulterers, And against swearers to a falsehood, And against oppressors of the hire of a hired worker, Of a widow, and of a fatherless one, And those turning aside a sojourner, And who do not fear Me,” said YHWH of Hosts.
6 “मैं याहवेह नहीं बदलता हूं. इसलिये तुम, जो याकोब की संतान हो, नाश नहीं हुए हो.
“For I, YHWH, have not changed, And you, the sons of Jacob, You have not been consumed.
7 अपने पूर्वजों के समय से तुम मेरे आदेशों से हटते आये हो, तुमने उनका पालन नहीं किया है. मेरे पास लौट आओ, और मैं तुम्हारे पास लौट आऊंगा,” सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का कहना है. “पर तुम पूछते हो, ‘हमें कैसे लौटना है?’
Even from the days of your fathers You have turned aside from My statutes, And you have not taken heed. Return to Me, and I return to you,” said YHWH of Hosts. “And you have said, In what do we turn back?
8 “क्या मात्र एक मरणशील मनुष्य परमेश्वर को लूट सकता है? तो भी तुम मुझे लूटते हो. “पर तुम पूछते हो, ‘हम आपको कैसे लूट रहे हैं?’ “दशमांश और भेंटों में.
Does man deceive God? But you are deceiving Me, And you have said, In what have we deceived You? The tithe and the raised-offering!
9 तुम एक शाप के अधीन हो—तुम्हारी पूरी जाति—क्योंकि तुम मुझे लूट रहे हो.
You are cursed with a curse! And you are deceiving Me—this nation—all of it.
10 सारा दशमांश भंडार घर में ले आओ, कि मेरे भवन में भोजन रहे. इस विषय में मुझे परखकर देखो,” सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का कहना है, “कि मैं किस प्रकार तुम्हारे लिए स्वर्ग के झरोखे खोलकर आशीषों की ऐसी बारिश करूंगा कि इसे रखने के लिए तुम्हारे पास पर्याप्त जगह न होगी.
Bring in all the tithe to the treasure-house, And there is food in My house; When you have tried Me, now, with this,” said YHWH of Hosts, “Do I not open the windows of the heavens to you? Indeed, I have emptied on you a blessing until there is no space.
11 मैं तुम्हारी फसल को नाश करनेवाले कीड़ों को रोकूंगा, और तुम्हारे खेतों में अंगूर के फल पकने के पहले कच्चे नहीं गिरेंगे,” सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का कहना है.
And I have pushed against the consumer for you, And He does not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor does the vine in the field miscarry to you,” said YHWH of Hosts.
12 “तब सब जाति के लोग तुम्हें आशीषित कहेंगे, क्योंकि तुम्हारा देश खुशी से भरा एक देश होगा,” सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का कहना है.
“And all the nations have declared you blessed, For you are a delightful land,” said YHWH of Hosts.
13 “तुमने मेरे विरुद्ध अभिमान से भरकर बात कही है,” याहवेह का कहना है. “फिर भी तुम पूछते हो, ‘हमने आपके विरुद्ध क्या कहा है?’
“Your words have been hard against Me,” said YHWH, “And you have said, What have we spoken against You?
14 “तुमने कहा है, ‘व्यर्थ है परमेश्वर की सेवा करना. उसके बताए कामों को पूरा करने और सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह के सामने शोकित मनुष्य के रूप में जाने से हमें क्या फायदा होता है?
You have said, A vain thing to serve God! And what gain when we kept His charge? And when we have gone in black, Because of YHWH of Hosts?
15 पर अब हम घमंडी मनुष्य को आशीषित सुखी कहते हैं. निश्चित रूप से बुरा काम करनेवाले समृद्ध होते जा रहे हैं, और यहां तक कि जब वे परमेश्वर को परखते हैं, तब भी वे बच निकलते हैं.’”
And now, we are declaring the proud blessed, Indeed, those doing wickedness have been built up, Indeed, they have tempted God, and escape.
16 तब जो याहवेह का भय मानते थे, उन्होंने एक दूसरे से बात की, और याहवेह ने ध्यान से उनकी बातें सुनी. जिन्होंने याहवेह का भय माना और उसके नाम का आदर किया, उनके बारे में याहवेह के सामने एक स्मरण पुस्तिका लिखी गई.
Then have those fearing YHWH spoken to one another, And YHWH attends and hears, And a scroll of memorial is written before Him Of those fearing YHWH, And of those esteeming His Name.
17 सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का कहना है, “उस दिन जब मैं अपना कार्य करूंगा,” तो वे लोग मेरे कीमती भाग होंगे. मैं उन्हें बचाऊंगा, जैसे कि एक पिता अपने सेवा करनेवाले बेटे के ऊपर करुणा करता और उसे बचाता है.
And they have been to Me,” said YHWH of Hosts, “In the day that I am appointing—a peculiar treasure, And I have had pity on them, As one has pity on his son who is serving him.
18 तब तुम फिर धर्मी और दुष्ट के बीच, और परमेश्वर की सेवा करनेवाले और परमेश्वर की सेवा नहीं करनेवाले के बीच फर्क को देखोगे.
And you have turned back and considered, Between the righteous and the wicked, Between the servant of God and him who is not His servant.”
