लूका 5
1 एक दिन प्रभु येशु गन्नेसरत झील के तट पर खड़े थे. वहां एक बड़ी भीड़ उनसे परमेश्वर का वचन सुनने के लिए उन पर गिर पड़ रही थी.
And it came to pass, in the multitude pressing on Him to hear the word of God, that He was standing beside the Lake of Gennesaret,
2 प्रभु येशु ने तट पर नावें देखीं. मछुवारे उन्हें छोड़कर चले गए थे क्योंकि वे अपने जाल धो रहे थे.
and He saw two boats standing beside the lake, and the fishers, having gone away from them, were washing the nets,
3 प्रभु येशु एक नाव पर बैठ गए, जो शिमओन की थी. उन्होंने शिमओन से नाव को तट से कुछ दूर झील में ले जाने के लिए कहा और तब उन्होंने नाव में बैठकर इकट्ठा भीड़ को शिक्षा देनी प्रारंभ कर दी.
and having entered into one of the boats, that was Simon’s, He asked him to put back a little from the land, and having sat down, was teaching the multitudes out of the boat.
4 जब वह अपना विषय समाप्त कर चुके, शिमओन को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, “नाव को गहरे जल में ले चलो और तब जाल डालो.”
And when He left off speaking, He said to Simon, “Put back into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch”;
5 शिमओन प्रभु से बोले, “स्वामी! हम रात भर कठिन परिश्रम कर चुके हैं किंतु हाथ कुछ न लगा, फिर भी, इसलिये कि यह आप कह रहे हैं, मैं जाल डाल देता हूं.”
and Simon answering said to Him, “Master, through the whole night, having labored, we have taken nothing, but at Your saying I will let down the net.”
6 यह कहते हुए उन्होंने जाल डाल दिए. जाल में इतनी बड़ी संख्या में मछलियां आ गई कि जाल फटने लगे
And having done this, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes, and their net was breaking,
7 इसलिये उन्होंने दूसरी नाव के सह मछुआरों को सहायता के लिए बुलाया. उन्होंने आकर सहायता की और दोनों नावों में इतनी मछलियां भर गईं कि बोझ के कारण नावें डूबने लगीं.
and they beckoned to the partners who [are] in the other boat, having come, to help them; and they came, and filled both the boats, so that they were sinking.
8 सच्चाई का अहसास होते ही शिमओन प्रभु येशु के चरणों पर गिर कहने लगे, “आप मुझसे दूर ही रहिए प्रभु, मैं एक पापी मनुष्य हूं.”
And Simon Peter having seen, fell down at the knees of Jesus, saying, “Depart from me, because I am a sinful man, O Lord”;
9 यह इसलिये कि शिमओन तथा उनके साथी मछुवारे इतनी मछलियों के पकड़े जाने से अचंभित थे.
for astonishment seized him, and all those with him, at the catch of the fishes that they took,
10 शिमओन के अन्य साथी, ज़ेबेदियॉस के दोनों पुत्र, याकोब और योहन भी यह देख भौचक्के रह गए थे. तब प्रभु येशु ने शिमओन से कहा, “डरो मत! अब से तुम मछलियों को नहीं, मनुष्यों को मेरे पास लाओगे.”
and in like manner also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon; and Jesus said to Simon, “Do not fear, from now on you will be catching men”;
11 इसलिये उन्होंने नावें तट पर लगाई और सब कुछ त्याग कर प्रभु येशु के पीछे चलने लगे.
and they, having brought the boats on the land, having left all, followed Him.
12 किसी नगर में एक व्यक्ति था, जिसके सारे शरीर में कोढ़ रोग फैल चुका था. प्रभु येशु को देख उसने भूमि पर गिरकर उनसे विनती की, “प्रभु! यदि आप चाहें तो मुझे शुद्ध कर सकते हैं.”
And it came to pass, in His being in one of the cities, that behold, a man full of leprosy, and having seen Jesus, having fallen on [his] face, he implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You may will, You are able to cleanse me”;
13 प्रभु येशु ने हाथ बढ़ाकर उसका स्पर्श किया और कहा, “मैं चाहता हूं, शुद्ध हो जाओ!” तत्काल ही उसे कोढ़ रोग से चंगाई प्राप्त हो गई.
and having stretched forth [His] hand, He touched him, having said, “I will, be cleansed”; and immediately the leprosy went away from him.
14 प्रभु येशु ने उसे आज्ञा दी, “इसके विषय में किसी से कुछ न कहना परंतु जाकर पुरोहित को अपने शुद्ध होने का प्रमाण दो तथा मोशेह द्वारा निर्धारित शुद्धि-बलि भेंट करो कि तुम्हारा कोढ़ से छुटकारा उनके सामने गवाही हो जाए.”
And He charged him to tell no one, “But having gone away, show yourself to the priest, and bring near for your cleansing according as Moses directed, for a testimony to them”;
15 फिर भी प्रभु येशु के विषय में समाचार और भी अधिक फैलता गया. परिणामस्वरूप लोग भारी संख्या में उनके प्रवचन सुनने और बीमारियों से चंगा होने की अभिलाषा से उनके पास आने लगे.
but the more was the report going abroad concerning Him, and great multitudes were coming together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their sicknesses,
16 प्रभु येशु अक्सर भीड़ को छोड़, गुप्त रूप से, एकांत में जाकर प्रार्थना किया करते थे.
and He was withdrawing Himself in the desolate places and was praying.
17 एक दिन, जब प्रभु येशु शिक्षा दे रहे थे, फ़रीसी तथा शास्त्री, जो गलील तथा यहूदिया प्रदेशों तथा येरूशलेम नगर से वहां आए थे, बैठे हुए थे. रोगियों को स्वस्थ करने का परमेश्वर का सामर्थ्य प्रभु येशु में सक्रिय था.
And it came to pass, on one of the days, that He was teaching, and there were sitting by Pharisees and teachers of the Law, who were come out of every village of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem, and the power of the LORD was—to heal them.
18 कुछ व्यक्ति एक लकवे के रोगी को बिछौने पर लिटा कर वहां लाए. ये लोग रोगी को प्रभु येशु के सामने लाने का प्रयास कर रहे थे.
And behold, men carrying a man on a bed, who has been struck with palsy, and they were seeking to bring him in, and to place before Him,
19 जब वे भीड़ के कारण उसे भीतर ले जाने में असफल रहे तो वे छत पर चढ़ गए और छत में से उसके बिछौने सहित रोगी को प्रभु येशु के ठीक सामने उतार दिया.
and having not found by what way they may bring him in because of the multitude, having gone up on the housetop, through the tiles they let him down with the little bed, into the midst before Jesus,
20 उनका यह विश्वास देख प्रभु येशु ने कहा, “मित्र! तुम्हारे पाप क्षमा किए जा चुके हैं.”
and He having seen their faith, said to him, “Man, your sins have been forgiven you.”
21 फ़रीसी और शास्त्री अपने मन में विचार करने लगे, “कौन है यह व्यक्ति, जो परमेश्वर-निंदा कर रहा है? भला परमेश्वर के अतिरिक्त अन्य कौन पाप क्षमा कर सकता है?”
And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this that speaks evil words? Who is able to forgive sins, except God only?”
22 यह जानते हुए कि उनके मन में क्या विचार उठ रहे थे, प्रभु येशु ने उनसे कहा, “आप अपने मन में इस प्रकार तर्क-वितर्क क्यों कर रहे हैं?
And Jesus having known their reasonings, answering, said to them, “What reason you in your hearts?
23 क्या कहना सरल है, ‘तुम्हारे पाप क्षमा कर दिए गए’ या ‘उठो और चलो’?
Which is easier—to say, Your sins have been forgiven you? Or to say, Arise, and walk?
24 किंतु इसका उद्देश्य यह है कि तुम्हें यह मालूम हो जाए कि मनुष्य के पुत्र को पृथ्वी पर पाप क्षमा का अधिकार सौंपा गया है.” तब रोगी से येशु ने कहा, “उठो, अपना बिछौना उठाओ और अपने घर जाओ.”
And that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on the earth to forgive sins—(He said to the one struck with palsy)—I say to you, arise, and having taken up your little bed, be going on to your house.”
25 उसी क्षण वह रोगी उन सबके सामने उठ खड़ा हुआ, अपना बिछौना उठाया, जिस पर वह लेटा हुआ था और परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करते हुए घर चला गया.
And immediately having risen before them, having taken up [that] on which he was lying, he went away to his house, glorifying God,
26 सभी हैरान रह गए. सभी परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करने लगे. श्रद्धा से भरकर वे कह रहे थे, “हमने आज अनोखे काम होते देखे हैं.”
and astonishment took all, and they were glorifying God, and were filled with fear, saying, “We saw strange things today.”
27 जब वह वहां से जा रहे थे, उनकी दृष्टि एक चुंगी लेनेवाले पर पड़ी, जिनका नाम लेवी था. वह अपनी चौकी पर बैठे काम कर रहे थे. प्रभु येशु ने उन्हें आज्ञा दी, “आओ! मेरे पीछे हो लो!”
And after these things He went forth, and beheld a tax collector, by name Levi, sitting at the tax office, and said to him, “Follow Me”;
28 लेवी उठे तथा सभी कुछ वहीं छोड़कर प्रभु येशु के पीछे हो लिए.
and he, having left all, having arisen, followed Him.
29 प्रभु येशु के सम्मान में लेवी ने अपने घर पर एक बड़े भोज का आयोजन किया. बड़ी संख्या में चुंगी लेनेवालों के अतिरिक्त वहां अनेक अन्य व्यक्ति भी इकट्ठा थे.
And Levi made a great entertainment to Him in his house, and there was a great multitude of tax collectors and others who were with them reclining,
30 यह देख उस संप्रदाय के फ़रीसी और शास्त्री प्रभु येशु के शिष्यों से कहने लगे, “तुम लोग चुंगी लेनेवालों तथा अपराधियों के साथ क्यों खाते-पीते हो?”
and the scribes and the Pharisees among them were murmuring at His disciples, saying, “Why do You eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”
31 प्रभु येशु ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, “चिकित्सक की ज़रूरत स्वस्थ व्यक्ति को नहीं, रोगी को होती है;
And Jesus answering said to them, “They who are well have no need of a physician, but they that are ill:
32 मैं पृथ्वी पर धर्मियों को नहीं परंतु पापियों को बुलाने आया हूं कि वे पश्चाताप करें.”
I did not come to call righteous men, but sinners, to conversion.”
33 फ़रीसियों और शास्त्रियों ने उन्हें याद दिलाते हुए कहा, “योहन के शिष्य अक्सर उपवास और प्रार्थना करते हैं. फ़रीसियों के शिष्य भी यही करते हैं किंतु आपके शिष्य तो खाते-पीते रहते हैं.”
And they said to Him, “Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make supplications—in like manner also those of the Pharisees—but Yours eat and drink?”
34 प्रभु येशु ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, “क्या दूल्हे उपस्थिति में अतिथियों से उपवास की आशा की जा सकती है?
And He said to them, “Are you able to make the sons of the bride-chamber—in the Bridegroom being with them—to fast?
35 किंतु वह समय आएगा, जब दूल्हा उनके मध्य से हटा लिया जाएगा—वे उस समय उपवास करेंगे.”
But days will come, and when the Bridegroom may be taken away from them, then they will fast in those days.”
36 प्रभु येशु ने उनके सामने यह दृष्टांत प्रस्तुत किया, “पुराने वस्त्र पर नये वस्त्र का जोड़ नहीं लगाया जाता. यदि कोई ऐसा करता है तब कोरा वस्त्र तो नाश होता ही है साथ ही वह जोड़ पुराने वस्त्र पर अशोभनीय भी लगता है.
And He spoke also an allegory to them: “No one puts a patch of new clothing on old clothing, and if otherwise, the new also makes a split, and with the old the patch does not agree, that [is] from the new.
37 वैसे ही नया दाखरस पुरानी मश्कों में रखा नहीं जाता. यदि कोई ऐसा करे तो नया दाखरस मश्कों को फाड़कर बह जाएगा और मश्के भी नाश हो जाएगी.
And no one puts new wine into old skins, and if otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, and itself will be poured out, and the skins will be destroyed;
38 नया दाखरस नई मश्कों में ही रखा जाता है.
but new wine is to be put into new skins, and both are preserved together;
39 पुराने दाखरस का पान करने के बाद कोई भी नए दाखरस की इच्छा नहीं करता क्योंकि वे कहते हैं, ‘पुराना दाखरस ही उत्तम है.’”
and no one having drunk old, immediately wishes new, for he says, The old is better.”
