लूका 11
1 एक दिन प्रभु येशु एक स्थान पर प्रार्थना कर रहे थे. जब उन्होंने प्रार्थना समाप्त की उनके शिष्यों में से एक ने उनसे विनती की, “प्रभु, हमको प्रार्थना करना सिखा दीजिए—ठीक जैसे योहन ने अपने शिष्यों को सिखाया है.”
And so it was, that as he was praying in a certaine place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said vnto him, Lord, teache vs to pray, as Iohn also taught his disciples.
2 प्रभु येशु ने उनसे कहा, “जब भी तुम प्रार्थना करो, इस प्रकार किया करो: “‘हमारे स्वर्गीय पिता! आपका नाम सभी जगह सम्मानित हो. आपका राज्य हर जगह स्थापित हो.
And he said vnto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father, which art in heauen, halowed be thy Name: Thy kingdome come: Let thy will be done, euen in earth, as it is in heauen:
3 हमारा रोज़ का भोजन हमें हर दिन दिया कीजिए.
Our dayly bread giue vs for the day:
4 हमारे पापों को क्षमा कीजिए. हम भी उनके पाप क्षमा करते हैं, जो हमारे विरुद्ध पाप करते हैं. हमें परीक्षा में फंसने से बचाइए.’”
And forgiue vs our sinnes: for euen we forgiue euery man that is indetted to vs: And leade vs not into temptation: but deliuer vs from euill.
5 प्रभु येशु ने उनसे आगे कहा, “तुममें से किसी का एक मित्र आधी रात में आकर यह विनती करे, ‘मित्र! मुझे तीन रोटियां दे दो;
Moreouer he said vnto them, Which of you shall haue a friende, and shall goe to him at midnight, and say vnto him, Friende, lende mee three loaues?
6 क्योंकि मेरा एक मित्र यात्रा करते हुए घर आया है और उसके भोजन के लिए मेरे पास कुछ नहीं है.’
For a friende of mine is come out of the way to me, and I haue nothing to set before him:
7 तब वह अंदर ही से उत्तर दे, ‘मुझे मत सताओ! द्वार बंद हो चुका है और मेरे बालक मेरे साथ सो रहे हैं. अब मैं उठकर तुम्हें कुछ नहीं दे सकता.’
And hee within shoulde answere, and say, Trouble mee not: the doore is nowe shut, and my children are with mee in bed: I can not rise and giue them to thee.
8 मैं जो कह रहा हूं उसे समझो: हालांकि वह व्यक्ति मित्र होने पर भी भले ही उसे देना न चाहे, फिर भी उस मित्र के बहुत विनती करने पर उसकी ज़रूरत के अनुसार उसे अवश्य देगा.
I say vnto you, Though he would not arise and giue him, because he is his friende, yet doubtlesse because of his importunitie, hee woulde rise, and giue him as many as he needed.
9 “यही कारण है कि मैंने तुमसे कहा है: विनती करो, तो तुम्हें दिया जाएगा; खोजो, तो तुम पाओगे; द्वार खटखटाओ, तो वह तुम्हारे लिए खोल दिया जाएगा
And I say vnto you, Aske, and it shall be giuen you: seeke, and yee shall finde: knocke, and it shalbe opened vnto you.
10 क्योंकि हर एक, जो विनती करता है, उसकी विनती पूरी की जाती है, जो खोजता है, वह प्राप्त करता है और वह, जो द्वार खटखटाता है, उसके लिए द्वार खोल दिया जाता है.
For euery one that asketh, receiueth: and he that seeketh, findeth: and to him that knocketh, it shalbe opened.
11 “तुममें कौन पिता ऐसा है, जो अपने पुत्र के मछली मांगने पर उसे सांप दे
If a sonne shall aske bread of any of you that is a father, will he giue him a stone? or if hee aske a fish, will he for a fish giue him a serpent?
12 या अंडे की विनती पर बिच्छू?
Or if hee aske an egge, will hee giue him a scorpion?
13 जब तुम दुष्ट होने पर भी अपनी संतान को उत्तम वस्तुएं प्रदान करना जानते हो तो तुम्हारे स्वर्गीय पिता उन्हें, जो उनसे विनती करते हैं, कहीं अधिक बढ़कर पवित्र आत्मा प्रदान न करेंगे, जो उत्तम है?”
If yee then which are euill, can giue good giftes vnto your children, howe much more shall your heauenly Father giue the holy Ghost to them, that desire him?
14 प्रभु येशु एक व्यक्ति में से, जो गूंगा था, एक दुष्टात्मा को निकाल रहे थे. दुष्टात्मा के निकलते ही वह, जो गूंगा था, बोलने लगा. यह देख भीड़ अचंभित रह गई.
Then hee cast out a deuill which was domme: and when the deuill was gone out, the domme spake, and the people wondered.
15 किंतु उनमें से कुछ ने कहा, “वह तो दुष्टात्माओं के प्रधान बेलज़बूल की सहायता से दुष्टात्मा निकालता है.”
But some of them said, He casteth out deuils through Beelzebub the chiefe of ye deuils.
16 कुछ अन्य ने प्रभु येशु को परखने के उद्देश्य से उनसे अद्भुत चिह्न की मांग की.
And others tempted him, seeking of him a signe from heauen.
17 उनके मन की बातें जानकर प्रभु येशु ने उनसे कहा, “कोई भी राज्य, जिसमें फूट पड़ चुकी है, नाश हो जाता है और जिस परिवार में फूट पड़ चुकी हो, उसका नाश हो जाता है.
But he knew their thoughts, and said vnto them, Euery kingdom deuided against it self, shall be desolate, and an house deuided against an house, falleth.
18 यदि शैतान अपने ही विरुद्ध काम करने लगे तो उसका राज्य स्थिर कैसे रह सकता है? मैं ये सब इसलिये कह रहा हूं कि तुम यह दावा कर रहे हो कि मैं दुष्टात्माओं को बेलज़बूल की सहायता से निकाला करता हूं.
So if Satan also bee deuided against himselfe, howe shall his kingdome stande, because yee say that I cast out deuils through Beelzebub?
19 यदि मैं दुष्टात्माओं को बेलज़बूल के सहयोग से बाहर निकाला करता हूं तो फिर तुम्हारे अनुयायी उनको कैसे बाहर करती है? परिणामस्वरूप वे ही तुम पर आरोप लगाएंगे.
If I through Beelzebub cast out deuils, by whome doe your children cast them out? Therefore shall they be your iudges.
20 किंतु यदि मैं दुष्टात्माओं को परमेश्वर के सामर्थ्य के द्वारा निकालता हूं, तब परमेश्वर का राज्य तुम्हारे मध्य आ चुका है.
But if I by ye finger of God cast out deuils, doutles the kingdome of God is come vnto you.
21 “जब कोई बलवान व्यक्ति शस्त्रों से पूरी तरह से सुसज्जित होकर अपने घर की चौकसी करता है, तो उसकी संपत्ति सुरक्षित रहती है
When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, the thinges that hee possesseth, are in peace.
22 किंतु जब उससे अधिक बलवान कोई व्यक्ति उस पर आक्रमण कर उसे अपने वश में कर लेता है और वे सभी शस्त्र, जिन पर वह भरोसा करता था, छीन लेता है, तो वह उसकी संपत्ति को लूटकर बांट देता है.
But when a stronger then hee, commeth vpon him, and ouercommeth him: hee taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and deuideth his spoiles.
23 “वह, जो मेरे पक्ष में नहीं है मेरे विरुद्ध है और वह, जो मेरे साथ इकट्ठा नहीं करता, वह बिखेरता है.
He that is not with me, is against me: and he that gathereth not with me, scattereth.
24 “जब दुष्टात्मा किसी व्यक्ति में से बाहर आ जाती है, वह निवास स्थान की खोज में सूखे स्थानों में फिरती है, किंतु उसे निवास स्थान प्राप्त नहीं हो पाता. तब वह सोचती है कि मैं जिस निवास स्थान को छोड़कर आयी थी, वहीं लौट जाऊं.
When the vncleane spirite is gone out of a man, he walketh through drie places, seeking rest: and when he findeth none he saieth, I wil returne vnto mine house whence I came out.
25 वह वहां लौटकर उसे खाली, साफ़ और सुथरा पाती है.
And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
26 तब वह जाकर अपने से अधिक बुरी सात आत्मा और ले आती है और वे सब उस व्यक्ति में प्रवेश कर उसमें अपना घर बना लेती हैं. तब उस व्यक्ति की स्थिति पहले से खराब हो जाती है.”
Then goeth hee, and taketh to him seuen other spirites worse then himselfe: and they enter in, and dwel there: so the last state of that man is worse then the first.
27 जब प्रभु येशु यह शिक्षा दे रहे थे, भीड़ में से एक नारी पुकार उठी, “धन्य है वह माता, जिसने आपको जन्म दिया और आपका पालन पोषण किया.”
And it came to passe as he sayde these thinges, a certaine woman of the companie lifted vp her voyce, and sayde vnto him, Blessed is the wombe that bare thee, and the pappes which thou hast sucked.
28 किंतु प्रभु येशु ने कहा, “परंतु धन्य वे हैं, जो परमेश्वर के वचन को सुनकर उसका पालन करते हैं.”
But hee saide, Yea, rather blessed are they that heare the woorde of God, and keepe it.
29 जब और अधिक लोग इकट्ठा होने लगे, प्रभु येशु ने कहा, “यह पीढ़ी अत्यंत बुरी पीढ़ी है. यह चमत्कार चिह्नों की मांग करती है किंतु भविष्यवक्ता योनाह के चिह्न के अतिरिक्त इसे और कोई चिह्न नहीं दिया जाएगा.
And when the people were gathered thicke together, he began to say, This is a wicked generation: they seeke a signe, and there shall no signe be giuen them, but the signe of Ionas the Prophet.
30 जिस प्रकार परमेश्वर की ओर से भविष्यवक्ता योनाह नीनवे नगरवासियों के लिए एक चिह्न थे, उसी प्रकार मनुष्य का पुत्र इस पीढ़ी के लिए एक चिह्न है.
For as Ionas was a signe to the Niniuites: so shall also the Sonne of man bee to this generation.
31 न्याय-दिवस पर दक्षिण की रानी इस पीढ़ी के साथ खड़ी होगी और इसे धिक्कारेगी क्योंकि वह पृथ्वी के छोर से यात्रा कर राजा शलोमोन के ज्ञान को सुनने आई थी; किंतु यहां तो वह है, जो राजा शलोमोन से भी बढ़कर है.
The Queene of the South shall rise in iudgement, with the men of this generation, and shall condemne them: for shee came from the vtmost partes of the earth to heare the wisedome of Salomon, and beholde, a greater then Salomon is here.
32 न्याय-दिवस पर नीनवे नगर की जनता इस पीढ़ी के साथ उपस्थित होगी और इसे धिक्कारेगी क्योंकि उसने तो भविष्यवक्ता योनाह के प्रचार के परिणामस्वरूप पश्चाताप कर लिया, किंतु यहां तो वह है, जो भविष्यवक्ता योनाह से भी बढ़कर है.
The men of Niniue shall rise in iudgement with this generation, and shall condemne it: for they repented at the preaching of Ionas: and beholde, a greater then Ionas is here.
33 “दीप जलाकर कोई भी उसे न तो ऐसे स्थान पर रखता है, जहां वह छुप जाए और न ही किसी बर्तन के नीचे; परंतु वह उसे उसके नियत स्थान पर रखता है, कि जो प्रवेश करते हैं, देख सकें.
No man when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a priuie place, neither vnder a bushell: but on a candlesticke, that they which come in, may see the light.
34 तुम्हारे शरीर का दीपक तुम्हारी आंख हैं. यदि तुम्हारी आंख निरोगी हैं, तुम्हारा सारा शरीर उजियाला होगा किंतु यदि तुम्हारी आंखें रोगी हैं, तो तुम्हारा शरीर भी अंधियारा होगा.
The light of the bodie is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, then is thy whole bodie light: but if thine eye be euill, then thy bodie is darke.
35 ध्यान रहे कि तुम्हारे भीतर छिपा हुआ उजाला अंधकार न हो.
Take heede therefore, that the light which is in thee, be not darkenesse.
36 इसलिये यदि तुम्हारा सारा शरीर उजियाला है, उसमें ज़रा सा भी अंधकार नहीं है, तब वह सब जगह उजाला देगा—जैसे एक दीप अपने उजाले से तुम्हें उजियाला देता है.”
If therefore thy whole body shall be light, hauing no part darke, then shall all be light, euen as when a candle doth light thee with the brightnesse.
37 जब प्रभु येशु अपना प्रवचन समाप्त कर चुके, एक फ़रीसी ने उन्हें भोजन के लिए आमंत्रित किया. प्रभु येशु उसके साथ गए तथा भोजन के लिए बैठ गए.
And as hee spake, a certaine Pharise besought him to dine with him: and hee went in, and sate downe at table.
38 उस फ़रीसी को यह देख आश्चर्य हुआ कि भोजन के पूर्व प्रभु येशु ने हाथ नहीं धोए.
And when the Pharise saw it, he marueiled that he had not first washed before dinner.
39 प्रभु येशु ने इस पर उससे कहा, “तुम फ़रीसी प्याले और थाली को बाहर से तो साफ़ करते हो किंतु तुम्हारे हृदय लोभ और दुष्टता से भरे हुए हैं.
And the Lord saide to him, In deede yee Pharises make cleane the outside of the cuppe, and of the platter: but the inwarde part is full of rauening and wickednesse.
40 निर्बुद्धियों! जिसने बाहरी भाग बनाया है, क्या उसी ने अंदरूनी भाग नहीं बनाया?
Ye fooles, did not he that made that which is without, make that which is within also?
41 तुममें जो अंदर बसा हुआ है, उसे दान में दे दो, तब तुम और तुम्हारे संस्कार शुद्ध हो पाएंगे.
Therefore, giue almes of those thinges which you haue, and beholde, all thinges shall be cleane to you.
42 “धिक्कार है तुम पर, फ़रीसियो! तुम परमेश्वर को अपने पुदीना, ब्राम्ही तथा अन्य हर एक साग-पात का दसवां अंश तो देते हो किंतु मनुष्यों के प्रति न्याय और परमेश्वर के प्रति प्रेम की उपेक्षा करते हो. ये ही वे चीज़ें हैं, जिनको पूरा करना आवश्यक है—अन्यों की उपेक्षा किए बिना.
But wo be to you, Pharises: for ye tithe the mynt and the rewe, and all maner herbs, and passe ouer iudgement and the loue of God: these ought yee to haue done, and not to haue left the other vndone.
43 “धिक्कार है तुम पर, फ़रीसियो! तुम्हें सभागृहों में प्रधान आसन तथा नगर चौक में लोगों द्वारा सम्मान भरा नमस्कार पसंद है.
Wo be to you, Pharises: for ye loue the vppermost seats in the Synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
44 “धिक्कार है तुम पर! क्योंकि तुम उन छिपी हुई कब्रों के समान हो जिन पर लोग अनजाने ही चलते फिरते हैं.”
Wo be to you, Scribes and Pharises, hypocrites: for ye are as graues which appeare not, and the men that walke ouer them, perceiue not.
45 एक वकील ने प्रभु येशु से कहा, “गुरुवर! ऐसा कहकर आप हमारा भी अपमान कर रहे हैं.”
Then answered one of the Lawyers, and saide vnto him, Master, thus saying thou puttest vs to rebuke also.
46 प्रभु येशु ने इसके उत्तर में कहा, “धिक्कार है तुम पर भी, वकीलों! क्योंकि तुम लोगों पर नियमों का ऐसा बोझ लाद देते हो, जिसको उठाना कठिन होता है, जबकि तुम स्वयं उनकी सहायता के लिए अपनी उंगली से छूते तक नहीं.
And he sayde, Wo be to you also, yee Lawyers: for yee lade men with burdens grieuous to be borne, and yee your selues touche not the burdens with one of your fingers.
47 “धिक्कार है तुम पर! क्योंकि तुम भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के लिए स्मारक बनाते हो, जबकि तुम्हारे अपने पूर्वजों ने ही उन भविष्यद्वक्ताओं की हत्या की थी.
Wo be to you: for ye builde the sepulchres of the Prophetes, and your fathers killed them.
48 इस प्रकार तुम अपने पूर्वजों के कुकर्मों के गवाह हो और इसका पूरी तरह समर्थन करते हो—क्योंकि ये ही थे, जिन्होंने भविष्यद्वक्ताओं की हत्या की थी और अब तुम उन्हीं के स्मारक बनाते हो.
Truely ye beare witnesse, and allowe the deedes of your fathers: for they killed them, and yee build their sepulchres.
49 इसलिये परमेश्वर की बुद्धि का भी यह कहना है: ‘मैं उनके पास भविष्यवक्ता और प्रेरित भेजूंगा. वे उनमें से कुछ की हत्या कर देंगे तथा कुछ को उत्पीड़ित करेंगे
Therefore said the wisedome of God, I wil sende them Prophets and Apostles, and of them they shall slaie, and persecute away,
50 कि सृष्टि की स्थापना से लेकर आज तक सारे भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के लहू बहने का हिसाब इसी पीढ़ी से लिया जाए;
That the blood of all the Prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation,
51 हाबिल से लेकर ज़करयाह तक, जिनकी हत्या वेदी तथा मंदिर के मध्य की गई थी. हां, मेरा विश्वास करो: इसका हिसाब इसी पीढ़ी से लिया जाएगा.’
From the blood of Abel vnto the blood of Zacharias, which was slaine betweene the altar and the Temple: verely I say vnto you, it shall be required of this generation.
52 “धिक्कार है तुम पर, वकीलों! तुमने ज्ञान की कुंजी तो ले ली हैं, किंतु तुमने ही इसमें प्रवेश नहीं किया, और जो इसमें प्रवेश कर रहे थे, उनका भी मार्ग बंद कर दिया है.”
Wo be to you, Lawyers: for ye haue taken away the key of knowledge: ye entred not in your selues, and them that came in, ye forbade.
53 प्रभु येशु के वहां से निकलने पर शास्त्री और फ़रीसी, जो उनके कट्टर विरोधी हो गए थे, उनसे अनेक विषयों पर कठिन प्रश्न करने लगे.
And as he sayde these things vnto them, the Scribes and Pharises began to vrge him sore, and to prouoke him to speake of many things,
54 वे इस घात में थे कि वे प्रभु येशु को उनके ही किसी कथन द्वारा फंसा लें.
Laying wait for him, and seeking to catche some thing of his mouth, whereby they might accuse him.
