विलापगीत 3
1 मैं वह व्यक्ति हूं, जिसने याहवेह के कोप-दण्ड में पीड़ा का साक्षात अनुभव किया है.
Aleph. I am a man seynge my pouert in the yerde of his indignacioun.
2 उन्होंने हकालते हुए मुझे घोर अंधकार में डाल दिया है कहीं थोड़ा भी प्रकाश दिखाई नहीं देता;
Aleph. He droof me, and brouyte in to derknessis, and not in to liyt.
3 निश्चयतः बार-बार, सारे दिन उनका कठोर हाथ मेरे विरुद्ध सक्रिय बना रहता है.
Aleph. Oneli he turnede in to me, and turnede togidere his hond al dai.
4 मेरा मांस तथा मेरी त्वचा गलते जा रहे हैं और उन्होंने मेरी अस्थियों को तोड़ दिया है.
Beth. He made eld my skyn, and my fleisch; he al to-brak my boonys.
5 उन्होंने मुझे पकड़कर कष्ट एवं कड़वाहट में लपेट डाला है.
Beth. He bildid in my cumpas, and he cumpasside me with galle and trauel.
6 उन्होंने मुझे इस प्रकार अंधकार में रहने के लिए छोड़ दिया है मानो मैं दीर्घ काल से मृत हूं.
Beth. He settide me in derk places, as euerlastynge deed men.
7 उन्होंने मेरे आस-पास दीवार खड़ी कर दी है, कि मैं बचकर पलायन न कर सकूं; उन्होंने मुझे भारी बेड़ियों में बांध रखा है.
Gymel. He bildide aboute ayens me, that Y go not out; he aggregide my gyues.
8 मैं सहायता की दोहाई अवश्य देता हूं, किंतु वह मेरी पुकार को अवरुद्ध कर देते हैं.
Gymel. But and whanne Y crie and preye, he hath excludid my preier.
9 उन्होंने मेरे मार्गों को पत्थर लगाकर बाधित कर दिया है; उन्होंने मेरे मार्गों को विकृत बना दिया है.
Gymel. He closide togidere my weies with square stoonus; he distriede my pathis.
10 वह एक ऐसा रीछ है, ऐसा सिंह है, जो मेरे लिए घात लगाए हुए बैठा है,
Deleth. He is maad a bere settinge aspies to me, a lioun in hid places.
11 मुझे भटका कर मुझे टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर डाला और उसने मुझे निस्सहाय बना छोड़ा है.
Deleth. He distriede my pathis, and brak me; he settide me desolat.
12 उन्होंने अपना धनुष चढ़ाया तथा मुझे अपने बाणों का लक्ष्य बना लिया.
Deleth. He bente his bowe, and settide me as a signe to an arowe.
13 अपने तरकश से बाण लेकर उन्होंने उन बाणों से मेरा हृदय बेध दिया.
He. He sente in my reynes the douytris of his arowe caas.
14 सभी के लिए अब तो मैं उपहास पात्र हूं; सारे दिन उनके व्यंग्य-बाण मुझ पर छोड़े जाते हैं.
He. Y am maad in to scorn to al the puple, the song of hem al dai.
15 उन्होंने मुझे कड़वाहट से भर दिया है उन्होंने मुझे नागदौने से सन्तृप्त कर रखा है.
He. He fillide me with bitternesses; he gretli fillide me with wermod.
16 उन्होंने मुझे कंकड़ों पर दांत चलाने के लिए विवश कर दिया है; मुझे भस्म के ढेर में जा छिपने के लिए विवश कर दिया है.
Vau. He brak at noumbre my teeth; he fedde me with aische.
17 शांति ने मेरी आत्मा का साथ छोड़ दिया है; मुझे तो स्मरण ही नहीं रहा कि सुख-आनन्द क्या होता है.
Vau. And my soule is putte awei; Y haue foryete goodis.
18 इसलिये मुझे यही कहना पड़ रहा है, “न मुझमें धैर्य शेष रहा है और न ही याहवेह से कोई आशा.”
Vau. And Y seide, Myn ende perischide, and myn hope fro the Lord.
19 स्मरण कीजिए मेरी पीड़ा और मेरी भटकन, वह नागदौन तथा वह कड़वाहट.
Zai. Haue thou mynde on my pouert and goyng ouer, and on wermod and galle.
20 मेरी आत्मा को इसका स्मरण आता रहता है, मेरा मनोबल शून्य हुआ जा रहा है.
Zai. Bi mynde Y schal be myndeful; and my soule schal faile in me.
21 मेरी आशा मात्र इस स्मृति के आधार पर जीवित है:
Zai. Y bithenkynge these thingis in myn herte, schal hope in God.
22 याहवेह का करुणा-प्रेम, के ही कारण हम भस्म नही होते! कभी भी उनकी कृपा का ह्रास नहीं होता.
Heth. The mercies of the Lord ben manye, for we ben not wastid; for whi hise merciful doyngis failiden not.
23 प्रति प्रातः वे नए पाए जाते हैं; महान है आपकी विश्वासयोग्यता.
Heth. Y knew in the morewtid; thi feith is miche.
24 मेरी आत्मा इस तथ्य की पुष्टि करती है, “याहवेह मेरा अंश हैं; इसलिये उनमें मेरी आशा रखूंगा.”
Heth. My soule seide, The Lord is my part; therfor Y schal abide hym.
25 याहवेह के प्रिय पात्र वे हैं, जो उनके आश्रित हैं, वे, जो उनके खोजी हैं;
Teth. The Lord is good to hem that hopen in to hym, to a soule sekynge hym.
26 उपयुक्त यही होता है कि हम धीरतापूर्वक याहवेह द्वारा उद्धार की प्रतीक्षा करें.
Teth. It is good to abide with stilnesse the helthe of God.
27 मनुष्य के लिए हितकर यही है कि वह आरंभ ही से अपना जूआ उठाए.
Teth. It is good to a man, whanne he hath bore the yok fro his yongthe.
28 वह एकाकी हो शांतिपूर्वक इसे स्वीकार कर ले, जब कभी यह उस पर आ पड़ता है.
Joth. He schal sitte aloone, and he schal be stille; for he reiside hym silf aboue hym silf.
29 वह अपना मुख धूलि पर ही रहने दे— आशा कभी मृत नहीं होती.
Joth. He schal sette his mouth in dust, if perauenture hope is.
30 वह अपना गाल उसे प्रस्तुत कर दे, जो उस प्रहार के लिए तैयार है, वह समस्त अपमान स्वीकार कर ले.
Joth. He schal yyue the cheke to a man that smytith hym; he schal be fillid with schenschipis.
31 प्रभु का परित्याग चिरस्थायी नहीं हुआ करता.
Caph. For the Lord schal not putte awei with outen ende.
32 यद्यपि वह पीड़ा के कारण तो हो जाते हैं, किंतु करुणा का सागर भी तो वही हैं, क्योंकि अथाह होता है उनका करुणा-प्रेम.
Caph. For if he castide awei, and he schal do merci bi the multitude of hise mercies.
33 पीड़ा देना उनका सुख नहीं होता न ही मनुष्यों को यातना देना उनका आनंद होता है.
Caph. For he makide not low of his herte; and castide not awei the sones of men. Lameth.
34 पृथ्वी के समस्त बंदियों का दमन,
That he schulde al to-foule vndur hise feet alle the boundun men of erthe. Lameth.
35 परम प्रधान की उपस्थिति में न्याय-वंचना,
That he schulde bowe doun the dom of man, in the siyt of the cheer of the hiyeste.
36 किसी की न्याय-दोहाई में की गई विकृति में याहवेह का समर्थन कदापि नहीं होता?
Lameth. That he schulde peruerte a man in his dom, the Lord knew not.
37 यदि स्वयं प्रभु ने कोई घोषणा न की हो, तो किसमें यह सामर्थ्य है, कि जो कुछ उसने कहा है, वह पूरा होगा?
Men. Who is this that seide, that a thing schulde be don, whanne the Lord comaundide not?
38 क्या यह तथ्य नहीं कि अनुकूल अथवा प्रतिकूल, जो कुछ घटित होता है, वह परम प्रधान के बोलने के द्वारा ही होता है?
Men. Nether goodis nether yuels schulen go out of the mouth of the hiyeste.
39 भला कोई जीवित मनुष्य अपने पापों के दंड के लिए परिवाद कैसे कर सकता है?
Men. What grutchide a man lyuynge, a man for hise synnes?
40 आइए हम अपनी नीतियों का परीक्षण करें तथा अपने याहवेह की ओर लौट चलें:
Nun. Serche we oure weies, and seke we, and turne we ayen to the Lord.
41 आइए हम अपने हृदय एवं अपनी बांहें परमेश्वर की ओर उन्मुख करें तथा अपने हाथ स्वर्गिक परमेश्वर की ओर उठाएं:
Nun. Reise we oure hertis with hondis, to the Lord in to heuenes.
42 “हमने अपराध किए हैं, हम विद्रोही हैं, आपने हमें क्षमा प्रदान नहीं की है.
Nun. We han do wickidli, and han terrid thee to wraththe; therfor thou art not able to be preied.
43 “आपने स्वयं को कोप में भरकर हमारा पीछा किया; निर्दयतापूर्वक हत्यायें की हैं.
Sameth. Thou hilidist in stronge veniaunce, and smitidist vs; thou killidist, and sparidist not.
44 आपने स्वयं को एक मेघ में लपेट रखा है, कि कोई भी प्रार्थना इससे होकर आप तक न पहुंच सके.
Sameth. Thou settidist a clowde to thee, that preier passe not.
45 आपने हमें राष्ट्रों के मध्य कीट तथा कूड़ा बना छोड़ा है.
Sameth. Thou settidist me, drawing vp bi the roote, and castynge out, in the myddis of puplis.
46 “हमारे सभी शत्रु बेझिझक हमारे विरुद्ध निंदा के शब्द उच्चार रहे हैं.
Ayn. Alle enemyes openyden her mouth on vs.
47 आतंक, जोखिम, विनाश तथा विध्वंस हम पर आ पड़े हैं.”
Ayn. Inward drede and snare is maad to vs, profesie and defoulyng.
48 मेरी प्रजा के इस विनाश के कारण मेरे नेत्रों के अश्रुप्रवाह नदी सदृश हो गए हैं.
Ayn. Myn iyen ledden doun departyngis of watris, for the defoulyng of the douyter of my puple.
49 बिना किसी विश्रान्ति मेरा अश्रुपात होता रहेगा,
Phe. Myn iye was turmentid, and was not stille; for no reste was.
50 जब तक स्वर्ग से याहवेह इस ओर दृष्टिपात न करेंगे.
Phe. Vntil the Lord bihelde, and siy fro heuenes.
51 अपनी नगरी की समस्त पुत्रियों की नियति ने मेरे नेत्रों को पीड़ित कर रखा है.
Phe. Myn iye robbide my soule in alle the douytris of my citee.
52 उन्होंने, जो अकारण ही मेरे शत्रु हो गए थे, पक्षी सदृश मेरा अहेर किया है.
Sade. Myn enemyes token me with out cause, bi huntyng as a brid.
53 उन्होंने तो मुझे गड्ढे में झोंक मुझ पर पत्थर लुढ़का दिए हैं;
Sade. My lijf slood in to a lake; and thei puttiden a stoon on me.
54 जब जल सतह मेरे सिर तक पहुंचने लगी, मैं विचार करने लगा, अब मैं मिट जाऊंगा.
Sade. Watris flowiden ouer myn heed; Y seide, Y perischide.
55 गड्ढे से मैंने, याहवेह आपकी दोहाई दी.
Coph. Lord, Y clepide to help thi name, fro the laste lake.
56 आपने मेरी इस दोहाई सुन ली है: “मेरी विमुक्ति के लिए की गई मेरी पुकार की ओर से, अपने कान बंद न कीजिए.”
Coph. Thou herdist my vois; turne thou not awei thin eere fro my sobbyng and cries.
57 जब मैंने आपकी दोहाई दी, आप निकट आ गए; आपने आश्वासन दिया, “डरो मत.”
Coph. Thou neiyidist to me in the dai, wherynne Y clepide thee to help; thou seidist, Drede thou not.
58 प्रभु आपने मेरा पक्ष लेकर; मेरे जीवन को सुरक्षा प्रदान की है.
Res. Lord, ayenbiere of my lijf, thou demydist the cause of my soule.
59 याहवेह, आपने वह अन्याय देख लिया है, जो मेरे साथ किया गया है. अब आप मेरा न्याय कीजिए!
Res. Lord, thou siest the wickidnesse of hem ayens me; deme thou my doom.
60 उनके द्वारा लिया गया बदला आपकी दृष्टि में है, उनके द्वारा रचे गए सभी षड़्यंत्र आपको ज्ञात हैं.
Res. Thou siest al the woodnesse, alle the thouytis of hem ayenus me.
61 याहवेह, आपने उनके द्वारा किए गए व्यंग्य सुने हैं, उनके द्वारा रचे गए सभी षड़्यंत्र आपको ज्ञात हैं—
Syn. Lord, thou herdist the schenshipis of hem; alle the thouytis of hem ayens me.
62 मेरे हत्यारों के हृदय में सारे दिन जो विचार उभरते हैं होंठों से निकलते हैं, मेरे विरुद्ध ही होते हैं.
Syn. The lippis of men risynge ayens me, and the thouytis of hem ayens me al dai.
63 आप ही देख लीजिए, उनका उठना-बैठना, मैं ही हूं उनका व्यंग्य-गीत.
Syn. Se thou the sittynge and risyng ayen of hem; Y am the salm of hem.
64 याहवेह, उनके कृत्यों के अनुसार, उन्हें प्रतिफल तो आप ही देंगे.
Thau. Lord, thou schalt yelde while to hem, bi the werkis of her hondis.
65 आप उनके हृदय पर आवरण डाल देंगे, उन पर आपका शाप प्रभावी हो जाएगा!
Tau. Thou schalt yyue to hem the scheeld of herte, thi trauel.
66 याहवेह, आप अपने स्वर्गलोक से उनका पीछा कर उन्हें नष्ट कर देंगे.
Tau. Lord, thou schalt pursue hem in thi strong veniaunce, and thou schalt defoule hem vndur heuenes.
