यहोशू 19
1 दूसरा पासा शिमओन गोत्र के नाम पड़ा, शिमओन वंशजों के कुलों के नाम, उनके परिवारों के अनुसार. उनकी मीरास यहूदाह गोत्रजों की मीरास के मध्य हो गई.
The second/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Simeon. Each clan in that tribe was allotted some land that was inside the area that had been allotted to the tribe of Judah.
2 परिणामस्वरूप, मीरास के रूप में: उन्हें बेअरशेबा अथवा शीबा, मोलादाह,
Their land included the towns of Beersheba ([which is also named] Sheba), Moladah,
3 हाज़र-शूआल, बालाह, एज़ेम,
Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem,
4 एलतोलद, बतूल, होरमाह,
Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 ज़िकलाग, बेथ-मरकाबोथ, हाज़र-सूसाह,
Ziklag, Beth-Marcaboth. Hazar-Susah,
6 बेथ-लबाओथ तथा शारूहेन; उनके गांवों सहित तेरह नगर.
Beth-Lebaoth, and Sharuhen. Altogether there were 13 towns and the surrounding villages.
7 एइन, रिम्मोन, एतेर तथा आशान; चार नगर उनके गांवों सहित.
The land allotted to them also included the four cities of Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan, and their surrounding villages.
8 इनके अतिरिक्त इन सभी नगरों के आस-पास के गांव भी, जो बालथ-बएर, नेगेव की सीमा तक फैले हुए थे. यह शिमओन गोत्र के कुलों की उनके परिवारों के अनुसार दी गयी मीरास थी.
They were also allotted some very small villages in an area that extended south to Baalath-Beer (which is [also named] Ramah, in the southern desert). That was the land allotted to the clans of the tribe of Simeon.
9 शिमओन को दी गयी यह मीरास यहूदाह को दी गयी मीरास में से ली गई थी, क्योंकि यहूदाह को दिया गया क्षेत्र उनके लिए अत्यंत विशाल हो गया था. इस प्रकार शिमओन वंशजों ने यहूदाह की मीरास के मध्य अपनी मीरास प्राप्त की.
The tribe of Judah had been allotted much more land than they needed, so part of their land was given to the tribe of Simeon.
10 पासा फेंकने पर तीसरा अंश ज़ेबुलून वंशजों के लिए उनके परिवारों के अनुसार निकला. उनकी मीरास की सीमा सारीद तक जा पहुंची.
The third/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Zebulun. Each clan of that tribe was allotted some of the land. The southern border started at Sarid [city].
11 इसके बाद सीमा पश्चिम में मरालाह की दिशा में बढ़ गई, तब इसने दब्बेशेथ का स्पर्श किया और फिर सीमा योकनआम की निकटवर्ती सरिता तक पहुंची.
It extended west to Maralah [city] and on to Dabbesheth [city], and on to the brook just north of Jokneam [city].
12 तब सीमा सारीद से मुड़कर पूर्व में सूर्योदय की दिशा में आगे बढ़ते हुए किसलोथ-ताबोर को स्पर्श किया. यह आगे बढ़ी और दाबरथ तथा याफिया पहुंची.
The border extended east from Sarid to the area near Kisloth-Tabor [city] and on to Daberath [town] and on to Japhia [town].
13 वहां से यह पूर्व में सूर्योदय की दिशा में बढ़ती चली गई और गाथ-हेफ़ेर, एथ-काज़ीन पहुंची, और रिम्मोन की ओर बढ़ गई, जो नेआह तक विस्तृत है.
From there it extended east to Gath-Hepher [city] and Eth-Kazin [town], and north to Rimmon [city]. From there the border extended [west] to Neah [town].
14 यह सीमा उत्तर में हन्नाथोन की परिक्रमा कर यिफतह-एल की घाटी में जाकर समाप्त हो गई.
From Neah it extended south to Hannathon [city] and from there to Iphtah-El Valley.
15 इसमें कट्टाथ, नहलाल, शिम्रोन, यिदअला तथा बेथलेहेम भी सम्मिलित हैं; ये बारह नगर, इनके गांवों के साथ.
Their area included the towns of Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. Altogether there were twelve towns and the surrounding villages.
16 ये नगर इनके गांवों के सहित ज़ेबुलून वंशजों को उनके परिवार के अनुसार प्राप्त मीरास थी.
That was the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Zebulun.
17 चौथा पासा इस्साखार के पक्ष में पड़ा-यिस्साकार के गोत्र के पक्ष में, उसके परिवारों के अनुसार.
The fourth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Issachar. Each of the clans of that tribe was allotted some of the land.
18 इसकी सीमा में था: येज़्रील तथा इसमें सम्मिलित थे कसुल्लोथ, शूनेम,
Their land included the cities of Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,
19 हफारयिम, सियोन, अनाहरथ,
Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20 रब्बीथ, किशयोन, एबेज़,
Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,
21 रेमेथ, एन-गन्नीम, एन-हद्दाह तथा बेथ-पत्सेत्स,
Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah, and Beth-Pazzez.
22 सीमा ताबोर, शहत्सीमा तथा बेथ-शेमेश पहुंची और उनकी सीमा यरदन पर जा समाप्त हो गई; ये इनके गांवों के सहित सोलह नगर थे.
The border of the area that was allotted to the tribe of Issachar was close to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-Shemesh [cities], and ended [in the east] at the Jordan [River]. Altogether there were 16 cities and the surrounding villages.
23 ये नगर इनके गांवों के सहित इस्साखार गोत्र को उनके परिवारों के अनुसार दी गयी मीरास थी.
Those cities and villages were in the land allotted to the clans of the tribe of Issachar.
24 पांचवां पासा आशेर गोत्र के नाम उनके परिवारों के अनुसार पड़ा.
The fifth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Asher. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
25 उनकी सीमा थी, हेलकथ, हली, बेटेन, अकशाफ,
Their land included the towns of Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,
26 अलम्मेलेख, अमआद तथा मिशआल; यह पश्चिम में कर्मेल तथा शीहोर-लिबनाथ तक पहुंची थी.
Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal. The western border started at Carmel [Mountain] and Shihor-Libnath.
27 तब यह पूर्व की ओर बेथ-दागोन की ओर मुड़कर ज़ेबुलून पहुंच गई और वहां से यिफतह-एल घाटी को और फिर उत्तर की ओर बेथ-एमेक तथा नईएल को; वहां से यह उत्तर में काबूल
From there it extended [southeast] to Beth-Dagon [town], and then to [the area that was allotted to the tribe of] Zebulun and Iphtah-El Valley. From there the border extended east and then north to Beth-Emek [town] and Neiel and Cabul [towns].
28 एबदोन, रेहोब, हम्मोन तथा कानाह होते हुए बढ़कर वृहत्तर सीदोन पहुंचती है.
From there it extended west to Abdon, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah [cities], and continued to Sidon, which is a big city.
29 वहां सीमा रामाह तथा गढ़नगर सोर की ओर बढ़ती है, फिर यह सीमा होसाह की ओर बढ़ती है और अंततः अकज़ीब क्षेत्र में समुद्र पर जाकर समाप्त हो जाती है.
From there the border extended south toward Ramah and to the big city of Tyre that had strong walls around it. From there the border extended [west] to Hosah [town] and ended at the [Mediterranean] Sea. Within their area were the towns of Aczib,
30 तब इसमें उमाह, अफेक तथा रेहोब, भी सम्मिलित थे; बाईस नगर जिनके साथ सम्मिलित थे इनके गांव.
Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob. Altogether there were 22 towns and their surrounding villages.
31 यह आशेर गोत्र को, उनके परिवारों के अनुसार दी गयी मीरास थी; ये नगर तथा उनके साथ इनके गांव भी.
Those cities and villages were within the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Asher.
32 छठा पासा नफताली वंशजों के पक्ष में पड़ा; नफताली वंशजों के लिए उनके परिवारों के अनुसार.
The sixth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Naphtali. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
33 उनकी सीमा प्रारंभ हुई थी हेलेफ से, सानन्नीम के बांज वृक्ष से अदामी-नेकेब, यबनेएल से लेकर लक्कूम तक और यरदन नदी पर जाकर समाप्त हो गई.
The border of their land started [in the west] at the [huge] oak tree at Zaanannim, near Heleph [town]. It extended [east] through Adami-Nekeb [city] and Jabneel, and then to Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan [River].
34 उसके बाद सीमा पश्चिम में अज़नोथ-ताबोर की ओर मुड़ गई और बढ़ते हुए वहां से हूक्कोक पहुंची. वहां से वह ज़ेबुलून की ओर बढ़ी, जो दक्षिण में है. वहां उसने पश्चिम में आशेर को स्पर्श किया तथा पूर्व में यरदन तटवर्ती यहूदिया को.
The western boundary extended through Aznoth-Tabor as far as Hukkok [city]. It extended to the borders of [the tribe of] Zebulun at the south, to [the border of the tribe of] Asher on the west, and the Jordan [River] at the east.
35 वहां ये गढ़नगर थे: ज़िद्दीम, ज़ेर, हम्माथ, रक्कथ, किन्नेरेथ,
[Within their land were] several cities with strong walls around them. They were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
36 अदामा, रामाह, हाज़ोर,
Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 केदेश, एद्रेइ, एन-हाज़ेर,
Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,
38 यिरओन, मिगदल-एल, होरेम, बेथ-अनात तथा बेथ-शेमेश; इनके गांवों सहित ये उन्नीस नगर.
Iron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath, and Beth-Shemesh. Altogether there were 19 cities and the surrounding villages.
39 यह उनके परिवारों के अनुसार नफताली गोत्र को दी गयी मीरास थी; ये सभी नगर, उनके गांवों के साथ.
Those cities and surrounding villages were in the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Naphtali.
40 सातवां पासा दान गोत्र के कुलों के पक्ष में उनके परिवारों के अनुसार पड़ा.
The seventh/last tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Dan. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
41 उनकी मीरास की सीमा थी: ज़ोराह तथा एशताओल, ईर-शेमेश,
Their land included the towns of Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,
42 शअलब्बीन, अय्जालोन, यिथला,
Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,
43 एलोन, तिमनाह, एक्रोन,
Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44 एलतकेह, गिब्बथोन, बालाथ,
Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,
45 येहुद, बेने-बरक, गथ-रिम्मोन,
Jehud, Bene-Berak, Gath-Rimmon,
46 मे-यरकोन अर्थात् यरकोन की जल राशि, रक्कोन तथा योप्पा से लगी हुई सीमा.
Me-Jarkon, Rakkon, and the area near Joppa.
47 (दान के वंशजों की सीमा इनके भी आगे गई है; क्योंकि दान वंशजों ने लेशेम पर आक्रमण किया और उसे अधीन कर लिया. तत्पश्चात उन्होंने उस पर तलवार का प्रहार किया, उन पर अधिकार कर वे उसमें बस गए और उसे अपने पूर्वज के नाम के आधार पर लेशेम-दान नाम दिया.)
But the people of the tribe of Dan were unable to take control of the land that had been allotted to them. So they went [northeast] and fought against the people in Leshem [city]. They defeated and killed all the people who lived there. Then they began to live in Leshem, and changed the name of the city to Dan, the man from whom their tribe descended.
48 ये नगर उनके गांवों के साथ दान के गोत्र की, उनके परिवारों के अनुसार उनकी मीरास हो गए.
All of those towns and surrounding villages were in the land that was allotted to the clans in the tribe of Dan.
49 जब मीरास के लिए सीमा के अनुसार बंटवारे की प्रक्रिया पूर्ण हो गई, इस्राएल वंशजों ने नून के पुत्र यहोशू को अपने मध्य एक मीरास प्रदान की.
After the Israeli leaders divided the land among the tribes, they allotted some land to Joshua.
50 याहवेह के आदेश के अनुसार उन्होंने यहोशू को वही नगर प्रदान किया, जिसकी उन्होंने याचना की थी—एफ्राईम के पर्वतीय प्रदेश में तिमनथ-सेरह. यहोशू ने इस नगर का निर्माण किया और वहीं बस गए.
They allotted to him Timnath-Serah. Yahweh had said that he could have whatever city he wanted, and that was the city that he chose. It was in the hilly region which was allotted to the tribe of Ephraim. Joshua rebuilt the city and lived there.
51 ये ही हैं वे क्षेत्र, जो पुरोहित एलिएज़र, नून के पुत्र यहोशू तथा इस्राएल वंशजों के गोत्रों के परिवारों के प्रधानों ने शीलो में याहवेह के समक्ष मिलनवाले तंबू के प्रवेश पर आवंटित की. इस प्रकार समस्त भूमि का विभाजन सम्पन्न हो गया.
Those were the areas that were allotted to the various tribes of Israel. Eleazar the Supreme Priest and Joshua and the leaders of each tribe divided up the land while they were all at Shiloh, by (casting lots/throwing marked stones) [to decide which area each tribe would receive]. They did that while Yahweh was watching, at the entrance of the Sacred Tent. In that way they completed dividing up the land.
