यूहन्ना 5

1 इन बातों के पश्चात मसीह येशु यहूदियों के एक पर्व में येरूशलेम गए.

After that, there was a feast of the Iewes, and Iesus went vp to Hierusalem.

2 येरूशलेम में भेड़-फाटक के पास एक जलाशय है, जो इब्री भाषा में बैथज़ादा कहलाता है और जिसके पांच ओसारे हैं,

And there is at Hierusalem by the place of the sheepe, a poole called in Ebrew Bethesda, hauing fiue porches:

3 उसके किनारे अंधे, अपंग और लकवे के अनेक रोगी पड़े रहते थे,

In the which lay a great multitude of sicke folke, of blinde, halte, and withered, wayting for the mouing of the water.

4 [जो जल के हिलने की प्रतीक्षा किया करते थे क्योंकि उनकी मान्यता थी कि परमेश्वर का स्वर्गदूत समय समय पर वहां आकर जल हिलाया करता था. जल हिलते ही, जो व्यक्ति उसमें सबसे पहले उतरता था, स्वस्थ हो जाता था].

For an Angel went downe at a certaine season into the poole, and troubled the water: whosoeuer then first, after the stirring of the water, stepped in, was made whole of whatsoeuer disease he had.

5 इनमें एक व्यक्ति ऐसा था, जो अड़तीस वर्ष से रोगी था.

And a certaine man was there, which had bene diseased eight and thirtie yeeres.

6 मसीह येशु ने उसे वहां पड़े हुए देख और यह मालूम होने पर कि वह वहां बहुत समय से पड़ा हुआ है, उसके पास जाकर पूछा, “क्या तुम स्वस्थ होना चाहते हो?”

When Iesus sawe him lie, and knew that he nowe long time had bene diseased, he saide vnto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

7 रोगी ने उत्तर दिया, “श्रीमन, ऐसा कोई नहीं, जो जल के हिलने पर मुझे जलाशय में उतारे—मेरे प्रयास के पूर्व ही कोई अन्य व्यक्ति उसमें उतर जाता है.”

The sicke man answered him, Sir, I haue no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the poole: but while I am comming, another steppeth downe before me.

8 मसीह येशु ने उससे कहा, “उठो, अपना बिछौना उठाओ और चलने फिरने लगो.”

Iesus said vnto him, Rise: take vp thy bed, and walke.

9 तुरंत वह व्यक्ति स्वस्थ हो गया और अपना बिछौना उठाकर चला गया. वह शब्बाथ था.

And immediatly the man was made whole, and tooke vp his bed, and walked: and the same day was the Sabbath.

10 अतः यहूदी अगुओं ने स्वस्थ हुए व्यक्ति से कहा, “आज शब्बाथ है. अतः तुम्हारा बिछौना उठाना उचित नहीं है.”

The Iewes therefore said to him that was made whole, It is the Sabbath day: it is not lawfull for thee to cary thy bed.

11 उसने कहा, “जिन्होंने मुझे स्वस्थ किया है, उन्हीं ने मुझे आज्ञा दी, ‘अपना बिछौना उठाओ और चलने फिरने लगो.’”

He answered them, He that made me whole, he said vnto me, Take vp thy bed, and walke.

12 उन्होंने उससे पूछा, “कौन है वह, जिसने तुमसे कहा है कि अपना बिछौना उठाओ और चलने फिरने लगो?”

Then asked they him, What man is that which said vnto thee, Take vp thy bed and walke?

13 स्वस्थ हुआ व्यक्ति नहीं जानता था कि उसको स्वस्थ करनेवाला कौन था क्योंकि उस समय मसीह येशु भीड़ में गुम हो गए थे.

And he that was healed, knewe not who it was: for Iesus had conueied himselfe away from the multitude that was in that place.

14 कुछ समय बाद मसीह येशु ने उस व्यक्ति को मंदिर में देख उससे कहा, “देखो, तुम स्वस्थ हो गए हो, अब पाप न करना. ऐसा न हो कि तुम्हारा हाल इससे ज्यादा बुरा हो जाए.”

And after that, Iesus founde him in the Temple, and said vnto him, Beholde, thou art made whole: sinne no more, lest a worse thing come vnto thee.

15 तब उस व्यक्ति ने आकर यहूदी अगुओं को सूचित किया कि जिन्होंने उसे स्वस्थ किया है, वह येशु हैं.

The man departed and tolde the Iewes that it was Iesus, which had made him whole.

16 शब्बाथ पर मसीह येशु द्वारा यह काम किए जाने के कारण यहूदी अगुएं उनको सताने लगे.

And therefore the Iewes did persecute Iesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the Sabbath day.

17 मसीह येशु ने स्पष्ट किया, “मेरे पिता अब तक कार्य कर रहे हैं इसलिये मैं भी काम कर रहा हूं.”

But Iesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I worke.

18 परिणामस्वरूप यहूदी अगुएं मसीह येशु की हत्या के लिए और भी अधिक ठन गए क्योंकि उनके अनुसार मसीह येशु शब्बाथ की विधि को तोड़ ही नहीं रहे थे बल्कि परमेश्वर को अपना पिता कहकर स्वयं को परमेश्वर के तुल्य भी दर्शा रहे थे.

Therefore the Iewes sought the more to kill him: not onely because he had broken the Sabbath: but said also that God was his Father, and made himselfe equall with God.

19 मसीह येशु ने कहा: “मैं तुम पर एक अटल सच्चाई प्रकट कर रहा हूं; पुत्र स्वयं कुछ नहीं कर सकता. वह वही कर सकता है, जो वह पिता को करते हुए देखता है क्योंकि जो कुछ पिता करते हैं, पुत्र भी वही करता है.

Then answered Iesus, and said vnto them, Verely, verely I say vnto you, The Sonne can doe nothing of himselfe, saue that he seeth the Father doe: for whatsoeuer things he doth, the same things doeth the Sonne in like maner.

20 पिता पुत्र से प्रेम करते हैं और वह पुत्र को अपनी हर एक योजना से परिचित रखते हैं. वह इनसे भी बड़े-बड़े काम दिखाएंगे, जिन्हें देख तुम चकित हो जाओगे.

For the Father loueth the Sonne, and sheweth him all things, whatsoeuer he himselfe doeth, and he will shewe him greater workes then these, that ye should marueile.

21 जिस प्रकार पिता मरे हुओं को जीवित करके जीवन प्रदान करते हैं, उसी प्रकार पुत्र भी जिसे चाहता है, जीवन प्रदान करता है.

For likewise as the Father rayseth vp the dead, and quickeneth them, so the Sonne quickeneth whom he will.

22 पिता किसी का न्याय नहीं करते, न्याय करने का सारा अधिकार उन्होंने पुत्र को सौंप दिया है.

For the Father iudgeth no man, but hath committed all iudgement vnto the Sonne,

23 जिससे सब लोग पुत्र का वैसा ही आदर करें जैसा पिता का करते हैं. वह व्यक्ति, जो पुत्र का आदर नहीं करता, पिता का आदर भी नहीं करता, जिन्होंने पुत्र को भेजा है.

Because that all men shoulde honour the Sonne, as they honour the Father: he that honoureth not the Sonne, the same honoureth not the Father, which hath sent him.

24 “मैं तुम पर यह अटल सच्चाई प्रकट कर रहा हूं: जो मेरा वचन सुनता और मेरे भेजनेवाले में विश्वास करता है, अनंत काल का जीवन उसी का है; उसे दोषी नहीं ठहराया जाता, परंतु वह मृत्यु से पार होकर जीवन में प्रवेश कर चुका है. (aiōnios g166)

Verely, verely I say vnto you, he that heareth my worde, and beleeueth him that sent me, hath euerlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but hath passed from death vnto life. (aiōnios g166)

25 मैं तुम पर यह अटल सच्चाई प्रकट कर रहा हूं: वह समय आ रहा है परंतु आ ही गया है, जब सारे मृतक परमेश्वर के पुत्र की आवाज सुनेंगे और हर एक सुननेवाला जीवन प्राप्‍त करेगा.

Verely, verely I say vnto you, the houre shall come, and now is, when the dead shall heare the voyce of the Sonne of God: and they that heare it, shall liue.

26 जिस प्रकार पिता अपने आप में जीवन रखता है, उसी प्रकार पुत्र में बसा हुआ जीवन पिता के द्वारा दिया गया जीवन है.

For as the Father hath life in himselfe, so likewise hath he giuen to the Sonne to haue life in himselfe,

27 मनुष्य का पुत्र होने के कारण उसे न्याय करने का अधिकार भी दिया गया है.

And hath giuen him power also to execute iudgement, in that he is the Sonne of man.

28 “यह सब सुनकर चकित न हो क्योंकि वह समय आ रहा है, जब सभी मरे हुए लोग पुत्र की आवाज को सुनेंगे और वे जीवित हो जाएंगे.

Marueile not at this: for the houre shall come, in the which all that are in the graues, shall heare his voyce.

29 सुकर्मी जीवन के पुनरुत्थान के लिए और कुकर्मी दंड के पुनरुत्थान के लिए.

And they shall come foorth, that haue done good, vnto ye resurrection of life: but they that haue done euil, vnto the resurrection of condemnation.

30 मैं स्वयं अपनी ओर से कुछ नहीं कर सकता. मैं उनसे जैसे निर्देश प्राप्‍त करता हूं, वैसा ही निर्णय देता हूं. मेरा निर्णय सच्चा होता है क्योंकि मैं अपनी इच्छा नहीं परंतु अपने भेजनेवाले की इच्छा पूरी करने के लिए समर्पित हूं.

I can doe nothing of mine owne selfe: as I heare, I iudge: and my iudgement is iust, because I seeke not mine owne will, but the will of the Father who hath sent me.

31 “यदि मैं स्वयं अपने ही विषय में गवाही दूं तो मेरी गवाही मान्य नहीं होगी.

If I should beare witnesse of my selfe, my witnesse were not true.

32 एक और हैं, जो मेरे गवाह हैं और मैं जानता हूं कि मेरे विषय में उनकी गवाही अटल है.

There is another that beareth witnesse of me, and I know that the witnesse, which he beareth of me, is true.

33 “तुमने योहन के पास अपने लोग भेजे और योहन ने भी सच की ही गवाही दी.

Ye sent vnto Iohn, and he bare witnesse vnto the trueth.

34 परंतु मुझे तो अपने विषय में किसी मनुष्य की गवाही की ज़रूरत है ही नहीं—यह सब मैं तुम्हारे उद्धार के लिए कह रहा हूं.

But I receiue not the record of man: neuerthelesse these things I say, that ye might be saued.

35 योहन वह जलता हुआ और चमकता हुआ दीपक थे, जिनके उजाले में तुम्हें कुछ समय तक आनंद मनाना सुखद लगा.

He was a burning, and a shining candle: and ye would for a season haue reioyced in his light.

36 “मेरी गवाही योहन की गवाही से अधिक बड़ी है क्योंकि पिता द्वारा मुझे सौंपे गए काम को पूरा करना ही इस सच्चाई का सबूत है कि पिता ने मुझे भेजा है.

But I haue greater witnesse then the witnesse of Iohn: for the workes which the Father hath giuen me to finish, the same workes that I doe, beare witnesse of me, that the Father sent me.

37 इसके अतिरिक्त पिता अर्थात् स्वयं मेरे भेजनेवाले ने भी मेरे विषय में गवाही दी है. तुमने न तो कभी उनकी आवाज सुनी है, न उनका रूप देखा है

And the Father himselfe, which hath sent me, beareth witnesse of me. Ye haue not heard his voyce at any time, neither haue ye seene his shape.

38 और न ही उनका वचन तुम्हारे हृदय में स्थिर रह सका है क्योंकि जिसे उन्होंने भेजा है, तुम उसमें विश्वास नहीं करते.

And his worde haue you not abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye beleeued not.

39 तुम शास्त्रों का मनन इस विश्वास में करते हो कि उनमें अनंत काल का जीवन बसा है. ये सभी शास्त्र मेरे ही विषय में गवाही देते हैं. (aiōnios g166)

Searche the Scriptures: for in them ye thinke to haue eternall life, and they are they which testifie of me. (aiōnios g166)

40 यह सब होने पर भी जीवन पाने के लिए तुम मेरे पास आना नहीं चाहते.

But ye will not come to me, that ye might haue life.

41 “मनुष्य की प्रशंसा मुझे स्वीकार नहीं

I receiue not the prayse of men.

42 क्योंकि मैं तुम्हें जानता हूं और मुझे यह भी मालूम है कि परमेश्वर का प्रेम तुम्हारे मन में है ही नहीं.

But I know you, that ye haue not the loue of God in you.

43 तुम मुझे ग्रहण नहीं करते जबकि मैं अपने पिता के नाम में आया हूं किंतु यदि कोई अपने ही नाम में आए तो तुम उसे ग्रहण कर लोगे.

I am come in my Fathers Name, and ye receiue me not: if another shall come in his owne name, him will ye receiue.

44 तुम मुझमें विश्वास कैसे कर सकते हो यदि तुम एक दूसरे से प्रशंसा की आशा करते हो और उस प्रशंसा के लिए कोई प्रयास नहीं करते, जो एकमात्र परमेश्वर से प्राप्‍त होती है?

How can ye beleeue, which receiue honour one of another, and seeke not the honour that commeth of God alone?

45 “यह विचार अपने मन से निकाल दो कि पिता के सामने मैं तुम पर आरोप लगाऊंगा; तुम पर दोषारोपण तो मोशेह करेंगे—मोशेह, जिन पर तुमने आशा लगा रखी है.

Doe not thinke that I will accuse you to my Father: there is one that accuseth you, euen Moses, in whom ye trust.

46 यदि तुम वास्तव में मोशेह में विश्वास करते तो मुझमें भी करते क्योंकि उन्होंने मेरे ही विषय में लिखा है.

For had ye beleeued Moses, ye would haue beleeued me: for he wrote of me.

47 जब तुम उनके लेखों का ही विश्वास नहीं करते तो मेरी बातों का विश्वास कैसे करोगे?”

But if ye beleeue not his writings, how shall ye beleeue my wordes?
