यूहन्ना 10
1 “मैं तुम फ़रीसियों पर यह अटल सच्चाई प्रकट कर रहा हूं. वह, जो भेड़शाला में द्वार से प्रवेश नहीं करता परंतु बाड़ा फांद कर घुसता है, चोर और लुटेरा है,
"In most solemn truth I tell you that the man who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs over some other way, is a thief and a robber.
2 परंतु जो द्वार से प्रवेश करता है, वह भेड़ों का चरवाहा है.
But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 उसके लिए द्वारपाल द्वार खोल देता है, भेड़ें उसकी आवाज सुनती हैं. वह अपनी भेड़ों को नाम लेकर बुलाता और उन्हें बाहर ले जाता है.
To him the porter opens the door, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by their names and leads them out.
4 अपनी सब भेड़ों को बाहर निकाल लेने के बाद वह उनके आगे-आगे चलता है और भेड़ें उसके पीछे-पीछे क्योंकि वे उसकी आवाज पहचानती हैं.
When he has brought out his own sheep--all of them--he walks at the head of them; and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.
5 वे किसी अनजान के पीछे कभी नहीं चलेंगी परंतु उससे भागेंगी क्योंकि वे उस अनजान की आवाज नहीं पहचानतीं.”
But a stranger they will by no means follow, but will run away from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers."
6 मसीह येशु के इस दृष्टांत का मतलब सुननेवाले फ़रीसी नहीं समझे कि वह उनसे कहना क्या चाह रहे थे.
Jesus spoke to them in this figurative language, but they did not understand what He meant.
7 इसलिये मसीह येशु ने दोबारा कहा, “मैं तुम पर यह अटल सच्चाई प्रकट कर रहा हूं: भेड़ों का द्वार मैं ही हूं.
Again therefore Jesus said to them, "In most solemn truth I tell you that I am the Door of the sheep.
8 वे सभी, जो मुझसे पहले आए, चोर और लुटेरे थे. भेड़ों ने उनकी नहीं सुनी.
All who have come before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep would not listen to them.
9 द्वार मैं ही हूं. यदि कोई मुझसे होकर प्रवेश करता है तो उद्धार प्राप्त करेगा. वह भीतर बाहर आया जाया करेगा और चारा पाएगा.
I am the Door. If any one enters by me, he will find safety, and will go in and out and find pasture.
10 चोर किसी अन्य उद्देश्य से नहीं, मात्र चुराने, हत्या करने और नाश करने आता है; मैं इसलिये आया कि वे जीवन पाएं और बहुतायत का जीवन पाएं.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy: I have come that they may have Life, and may have it in abundance.
11 “मैं ही हूं अच्छा चरवाहा. अच्छा चरवाहा अपनी भेड़ों के लिए अपने प्राण दे देता है.
"I am the Good Shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his very life for the sheep.
12 मज़दूर, जो न तो चरवाहा है और न भेड़ों का स्वामी, भेड़िये को आते देख भेड़ों को छोड़कर भाग जाता है. भेड़िया उन्हें पकड़ता है और वे तितर-बितर हो जाती हैं.
The hired servant--one who is not a shepherd and does not own the sheep--no sooner sees the wolf coming than he leaves the sheep and runs away; and the wolf worries and scatters them.
13 इसलिये कि वह मज़दूर है, उसे भेड़ों की कोई चिंता नहीं है.
For he is only a hired servant and cares nothing for the sheep.
14 “मैं ही हूं अच्छा चरवाहा. मैं अपनों को जानता हूं और मेरे अपने मुझे;
"I am the Good Shepherd. And I know my sheep and my sheep know me,
15 ठीक जिस प्रकार पिता परमेश्वर मुझे जानते हैं, और मैं उन्हें. भेड़ों के लिए मैं अपने प्राण भेंट कर देता हूं.
just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I am laying down my life for the sheep.
16 मेरी और भी भेड़ें हैं, जो अब तक इस भेड़शाला में नहीं हैं. मुझे उन्हें भी लाना है. वे मेरी आवाज सुनेंगी; तब एक ही झुंड और एक ही चरवाहा होगा.
I have also other sheep--which do not belong to this fold. Those also I must bring, and they will listen to my voice; and they shall become one flock under one Shepherd.
17 पिता मुझसे प्रेम इसलिये करते हैं कि मैं अपने प्राण भेंट कर देता हूं—कि उन्हें दोबारा प्राप्त करूं.
For this reason my Father loves me, because I am laying down my life in order to receive it back again.
18 कोई भी मुझसे मेरे प्राण छीन नहीं रहा—मैं अपने प्राण अपनी इच्छा से भेंट कर रहा हूं. मुझे अपने प्राण भेंट करने और उसे दोबारा प्राप्त करने का अधिकार है, जो मुझे अपने पिता की ओर से प्राप्त हुआ है.”
No one is taking it away from me, but I myself am laying it down. I am authorized to lay it down, and I am authorized to receive it back again. This is the command I received from my Father."
19 मसीह येशु के इस वक्तव्य के कारण यहूदियों में दोबारा मतभेद उत्पन्न हो गया.
Again there arose a division among the Jews because of these words.
20 उनमें से कुछ ने कहा, “यह दुष्टात्मा से पीड़ित है या निपट सिरफिरा. क्यों सुनते हो तुम उसकी?”
Many of them said, "He is possessed by a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to him?"
21 कुछ अन्य लोगों ने कहा, “ये वचन दुष्टात्मा से पीड़ित व्यक्ति के नहीं हो सकते; क्या कोई दुष्टात्मा अंधों को आंखों की रोशनी दे सकता है?”
Others argued, "That is not the language of a demoniac: and can a demon open blind men's eyes?"
22 शीत ऋतु थी और येरूशलेम में समर्पण पर्व मनाया जा रहा था.
The Dedication Festival came on in Jerusalem. It was winter,
23 मसीह येशु मंदिर परिसर में शलोमोन के द्वारा बनाए हुए मंडप में टहल रहे थे.
and Jesus was walking in the Temple in Solomon's Portico,
24 यहूदी अगुओं ने उन्हें घेर लिया और जानना चाहा, “तुम हमें कब तक दुविधा में डाले रहोगे? यदि तुम ही मसीह हो तो हमें स्पष्ट बता दो.”
when the Jews gathered round Him and kept asking Him, "How long do you mean to keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us so plainly."
25 मसीह येशु ने उत्तर दिया, “मैंने तो आपको बता दिया है, किंतु आप ही विश्वास नहीं करते. सभी काम, जो मैं अपने पिता के नाम में करता हूं, वे ही मेरे गवाह हैं.
"I have told you," answered Jesus, "and you do not believe. The deeds that I do in my Father's name--they give testimony about me.
26 आप विश्वास नहीं करते क्योंकि आप मेरी भेड़ें नहीं हैं.
But you do not believe, because you are not my sheep.
27 मेरी भेड़ें मेरी आवाज सुनती हैं. मैं उन्हें जानता हूं और वे मेरे पीछे-पीछे चलती हैं.
My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
29 मेरे पिता, जिन्होंने उन्हें मुझे सौंपा है, सबसे बड़ा हैं और कोई भी इन्हें पिता के हाथ से छीन नहीं सकता.
What my Father has given me is more precious than all besides; and no one is able to wrest anything from my Father's hand.
30 मैं और पिता एक तत्व हैं.”
I and the Father are one."
31 तब यहूदियों ने दोबारा उनका पथराव करने के लिए पत्थर उठा लिए.
Again the Jews brought stones with which to stone Him.
32 मसीह येशु ने उनसे प्रश्न किया, “मैंने अपने पिता की ओर से तुम्हारे सामने अनेक भले काम किए. उनमें से किस काम के लिए तुम मेरा पथराव करना चाहते हो?”
Jesus remonstrated with them. "Many good deeds," He said, "have I shown you as coming from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?"
33 यहूदियों ने उत्तर दिया, “भले काम के कारण नहीं, परंतु परमेश्वर-निंदा के कारण: तुम मनुष्य होते हुए स्वयं को परमेश्वर घोषित करते हो!”
"For no good deed," the Jews replied, "are we going to stone you, but for blasphemy, and because you, who are only a man, are making yourself out to be God."
34 मसीह येशु ने उनसे पूछा, “क्या तुम्हारे व्यवस्था में यह नहीं लिखा: मैंने कहा कि तुम ईश्वर हो?
"Does it not stand written in your Law," replied Jesus, "'I said, you are gods'?
35 जिन्हें परमेश्वर का संदेश दिया गया था, उन्हें ईश्वर कहकर संबोधित किया गया—और पवित्र शास्त्र का लेख टल नहीं सकता,
If those to whom God's word was addressed are called gods (and the Scripture cannot be annulled),
36 तो जिसे पिता ने विशेष उद्देश्य पूरा करने के लिए अलग कर संसार में भेज दिया है, उसके विषय में आप यह घोषणा कर रहे हैं: ‘तुम परमेश्वर की निंदा कर रहे हो!’ क्या मात्र इसलिये कि मैंने यह दावा किया है, ‘मैं परमेश्वर का पुत्र हूं’?
how is it that you say to one whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am God's Son'?
37 मत करो मुझमें विश्वास यदि मैं अपने पिता के काम नहीं कर रहा.
If the deeds I do are not my Father's deeds, do not believe me.
38 परंतु यदि मैं ये काम कर ही रहा हूं, तो भले ही तुम मुझमें विश्वास न करो, इन कामों में तो विश्वास करो कि तुम जान जाओ और समझ लो कि पिता परमेश्वर मुझमें हैं और मैं पिता परमेश्वर में.”
But if they are, then even if you do not believe me, at least believe the deeds, that you may know and see clearly that the Father is in me, and that I am in the Father."
39 इस पर उन्होंने दोबारा मसीह येशु को बंदी बनाने का प्रयास किया, किंतु वह उनके हाथ से बचकर निकल गए.
This made them once more try to arrest Him, but He withdrew out of their power.
40 इसके बाद मसीह येशु यरदन नदी के पार दोबारा उस स्थान को चले गए, जहां पहले योहन बपतिस्मा देते थे और वह वहीं ठहरे रहे.
Then He went away again to the other side of the Jordan, to the place where John had been baptizing at first; and there He stayed.
41 वहां अनेक लोग उनके पास आने लगे. वे कह रहे थे, “यद्यपि योहन ने कोई अद्भुत चिह्न नहीं दिखाया, फिर भी जो कुछ उन्होंने इनके विषय में कहा था, वह सब सच है.”
Large numbers of people also came to Him. Their report was, "John did not work any miracle, but all that John said about this Teacher was true."
42 वहां अनेक लोगों ने मसीह येशु में विश्वास किया.
And many became believers in Him there.
