अय्यूब 36
1 एलिहू ने आगे कहा:
Also Helyu addide, and spak these thingis,
2 “आप कुछ देर और प्रतीक्षा कीजिए, कि मैं आपके सामने यह प्रकट कर सकूं, कि परमेश्वर की ओर से और भी बहुत कुछ कहा जा सकता है.
Suffre thou me a litil, and Y schal schewe to thee; for yit Y haue that, that Y schal speke for God.
3 अपना ज्ञान मैं दूर से लेकर आऊंगा; मैं यह प्रमाणित करूंगा कि मेरे रचयिता धर्मी हैं.
Y schal reherse my kunnyng fro the bigynnyng; and Y schal preue my worchere iust.
4 क्योंकि मैं आपको यह आश्वासन दे रहा हूं, कि मेरी आख्यान झूठ नहीं है; जो व्यक्ति इस समय आपके सामने खड़ा है, उसका ज्ञान त्रुटिहीन है.
For verili my wordis ben with out leesyng, and perfit kunnyng schal be preued to thee.
5 “स्मरण रखिए परमेश्वर सर्वशक्तिमान तो हैं, किंतु वह किसी से घृणा नहीं करते; उनकी शक्ति शारीरिक भी है तथा मानसिक भी.
God castith not awei myyti men, sithen he is myyti;
6 वह दुष्टों को जीवित नहीं छोड़ते किंतु वह पीड़ितों को न्याय से वंचित नहीं रखते.
but he saueth not wickid men, and he yyueth dom to pore men.
7 धर्मियों पर से उनकी नजर कभी नहीं हटती, वह उन्हें राजाओं के साथ बैठा देते हैं, और यह उन्नति स्थायी हो जाती है, वे सम्मानित होकर वहां ऊंचे पद को प्राप्त किए जाते हैं.
He takith not awei hise iyen fro a iust man; and he settith kyngis in seete with out ende, and thei ben reisid there.
8 किंतु यदि कोई बेड़ियों में जकड़ दिया गया हो, उसे पीड़ा की रस्सियों से बांध दिया गया हो,
And if thei ben in chaynes, and ben boundun with the roopis of pouert,
9 परमेश्वर उन पर यह प्रकट कर देते हैं, कि इस पीड़ा का कारण क्या है? उनका ही अहंकार, उनका यही पाप.
he schal shewe to hem her werkis, and her grete trespassis; for thei weren violent, `ethir rauenours.
10 तब परमेश्वर उन्हें उपयुक्त शिक्षा के पालन के लिए मजबूर कर देते हैं, तथा उन्हें आदेश देते हैं, कि वे पाप से दूर हो जाएं.
Also he schal opene her eere, that he chastise; and he schal speke, that thei turne ayen fro wickidnesse.
11 यदि वे आज्ञापालन कर परमेश्वर की सेवा में लग जाते हैं, उनका संपूर्ण जीवन समृद्धि से पूर्ण हो जाता है तथा उनका जीवन सुखी बना रहता है.
If thei heren, and kepen, thei schulen fille her daies in good, and her yeris in glorie.
12 किंतु यदि वे उनके निर्देशों की उपेक्षा करते हैं, तलवार से नाश उनकी नियति हो जाती है और बिना ज्ञान के वे मर जाते हैं.
Sotheli if thei heren not, thei schulen passe bi swerd, and thei schulen be wastid in foli.
13 “किंतु वे, जो दुर्वृत्त हैं, जो मन में क्रोध को पोषित करते हैं; जब परमेश्वर उन्हें बेड़ियों में जकड़ देते हैं, वे सहायता की पुकार नहीं देते.
Feyneris and false men stiren the ire of God; and thei schulen not crye, whanne thei ben boundun.
14 उनकी मृत्यु उनके यौवन में ही हो जाती है, देवताओं को समर्पित लुच्चों के मध्य में.
The soule of hem schal die in tempest; and the lijf of hem among `men of wymmens condiciouns.
15 किंतु परमेश्वर पीड़ितों को उनकी पीड़ा से मुक्त करते हैं; यही पीड़ा उनके लिए नए अनुभव का कारण हो जाती है.
He schal delyuere a pore man fro his angwisch; and he schal opene `the eere of hym in tribulacioun.
16 “तब वस्तुतः परमेश्वर ने आपको विपत्ति के मुख से निकाला है, कि आपको मुक्ति के विशाल, सुरक्षित स्थान पर स्थापित कर दें, तथा आपको सर्वोत्कृष्ट स्वादिष्ट खाना परोस दें.
Therfor he schal saue thee fro the streit mouth of the broddeste tribulacioun, and not hauynge a foundement vndur it; sotheli the rest of thi table schal be ful of fatnesse.
17 किंतु अब आपको वही दंड दिया जा रहा है, जो दुर्वृत्तों के लिए ही उपयुक्त है; अब आप सत्य तथा न्याय के अंतर्गत परखे जाएंगे.
Thi cause is demed as the cause of a wickid man; forsothe thou schalt resseyue thi cause and doom.
18 अब उपयुक्त यह होगा कि आप सावधान रहें, कि कोई आपको धन-संपत्ति के द्वारा लुभा न ले; ऐसा न हो कि कोई घूस देकर रास्ते से भटका दे.
Therfor ire ouercome thee not, that thou oppresse ony man; and the multitude of yiftis bowe thee not.
19 आपका क्या मत है, क्या आपकी धन-संपत्ति आपकी पीड़ा से मुक्ति का साधन बन सकेगी, अथवा क्या आपकी संपूर्ण शक्ति आपको सुरक्षा प्रदान कर सकेगी?
Putte doun thi greetnesse with out tribulacioun, and putte doun alle stronge men bi strengthe.
20 उस रात्रि की कामना न कीजिए, जब लोग अपने-अपने घरों से बाहर नष्ट होने लगेंगे.
Dilaie thou not nyyt, that puplis stie for hem.
21 सावधान रहिए, बुराई की ओर न मुड़िए, ऐसा जान पड़ता है, कि आपने पीड़ा के बदले बुराई को चुन लिया है.
Be thou war, that thou bowe not to wickidnesse; for thou hast bigunne to sue this wickidnesse aftir wretchidnesse.
22 “देखो, सामर्थ्य में परमेश्वर सर्वोच्च हैं. कौन है उनके तुल्य उत्कृष्ट शिक्षक?
Lo! God is hiy in his strengthe, and noon is lijk hym among the yyueris of lawe.
23 किसने उन्हें इस पद पर नियुक्त किया है, कौन उनसे कभी यह कह सका है ‘इसमें तो आपने कमी कर दी है’?
Who mai seke out the weies of God? ethir who dar seie to hym, Thou hast wrouyt wickidnesse?
24 यह स्मरण रहे कि परमेश्वर के कार्यों का गुणगान करते रहें, जिनके विषय में लोग स्तवन करते रहे हैं.
Haue thou mynde, that thou knowist not his werk, of whom men sungun.
25 सभी इनके साक्ष्य हैं; दूर-दूर से उन्होंने यह सब देखा है.
Alle men seen God; ech man biholdith afer.
26 ध्यान दीजिए परमेश्वर महान हैं, उन्हें पूरी तरह समझ पाना हमारे लिए असंभव है! उनकी आयु के वर्षों की संख्या मालूम करना असंभव है.
Lo! God is greet, ouercomynge oure kunnyng; the noumbre of hise yeeris is with out noumbre.
27 “क्योंकि वह जल की बूंदों को अस्तित्व में लाते हैं, ये बूंदें बादलों से वृष्टि बनकर टपकती हैं;
Which takith awei the dropis of reyn; and schedith out reynes at the licnesse of floodyatis,
28 मेघ यही वृष्टि उण्डेलते जाते हैं, बहुतायत से यह मनुष्यों पर बरसती हैं.
whiche comen doun of the cloudis, that hilen alle thingis aboue.
29 क्या किसी में यह क्षमता है, कि मेघों को फैलाने की बात को समझ सके, परमेश्वर के मंडप की बिजलियां को समझ ले?
If he wole stretche forthe cloudis as his tente,
30 देखिए, परमेश्वर ही उजियाले को अपने आस-पास बिखरा लेते हैं तथा महासागर की थाह को ढांप देते हैं.
and leite with his liyt fro aboue, he schal hile, yhe,
31 क्योंकि ये ही हैं परमेश्वर के वे साधन, जिनके द्वारा वह जनताओं का न्याय करते हैं. तथा भोजन भी बहुलता में प्रदान करते हैं.
the herris of the see. For bi these thingis he demeth puplis, and yyueth mete to many deedli men.
32 वह बिजली अपने हाथों में ले लेते हैं, तथा उसे आदेश देते हैं, कि वह लक्ष्य पर जा पड़े.
In hondis he hidith liyt; and comaundith it, that it come eft.
33 बिजली का नाद उनकी उपस्थिति की घोषणा है; पशुओं को तो इसका पूर्वाभास हो जाता है.
He tellith of it to his freend, that it is his possessioun; and that he may stie to it.
