अय्यूब 33
1 “फिर भी, महोदय अय्योब, कृपा कर मेरे वक्तव्य; मेरे सभी विचारों पर ध्यान दीजिए.
“But now, Job, listen carefully to all that I am going to say [DOU].
2 अब मैं अपने शब्द आपके सामने प्रकट रहा हूं; अब मेरी जीभ तथा मेरा मुख तैयार हो रहे हैं.
I am ready to tell you [MTY, DOU] [what I think].
3 मेरे ये शब्द मेरे हृदय की ईमानदारी से निकल रहे हैं; मेरे होंठ पूर्ण सच्चाई में ज्ञान प्रकट करेंगे.
I know that I am speaking honestly and that I am speaking [MTY] sincerely.
4 मैं परमेश्वर के आत्मा की कृति हूं; मेरी प्राणवायु सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वर के उच्छ्वास से है.
Almighty God has created me [as well as you], and his breath has caused me to live.
5 यदि आपके लिए संभव हो तो मेरे शब्दों का खंडन कीजिए; मेरा सामना करने के लिए आप तैयार हो जाइए.
So, answer [what] I [say] if you can; think carefully [about how you will reply to me].
6 स्मरण रखिए आपके समान मैं भी परमेश्वर की सृष्टि हूं; मैं भी मिट्टी की ही रचना हूं.
“God considers that you, and I are both [equal]; he formed both of us from clay.
7 सुनिए, मुझसे आपको किसी प्रकार का भय न हो, मैं आपको किसी भी रीति से कठोर नहीं करूंगा.
So you do not need to be afraid of me; I will not crush/oppress you [by what I say] [MTY].
8 “निःसंदेह जो कुछ आपने कहा हैं, वह सब मैंने सुना है, आपके सभी शब्द मैं सुन चुका हूं—
I have heard you [DOU] speaking, and this is what you have said:
9 ‘मैं निष्कलंक हूं, अत्याचार रहित हूं; मैं निर्दोष हूं तथा मुझमें कोई दोष नहीं है.
‘I am innocent; I have not committed any sins; I am pure; I have not done things that are wrong.
10 ध्यान दीजिए, फिर भी परमेश्वर मेरे विरुद्ध दोष खोज रहे हैं; उन्होंने तो मुझे अपना शत्रु समझे हैं.
But God finds reasons to accuse me, and he considers that I am his enemy.
11 उन्होंने मेरे पांव काठ में जकड़ दिए; मेरे समस्त मार्गों पर वह निगरानी बनाए हुए हैं.’
[It is as though] he has put my feet (in stocks/between wooden blocks to prevent me from walking away), and he watches everything that I do.’ [MTY]
12 “सुनिए, मैं आपको सूचित कर रहा हूं: आप इस विषय में नीतिमान नहीं हैं, क्योंकि परमेश्वर मनुष्यों से बड़े हैं.
But what you have said is wrong, and I will tell you [what you have said that is wrong]. God is much greater than any human.
13 आप परमेश्वर के विरुद्ध यह शिकायत क्यों कर रहे हैं कि वह अपने कार्यों का लेखा नहीं दिया करते?
So, (why are you arguing against God, saying ‘He never answers my questions’?/you should not be arguing against God, saying ‘He never answers my questions.’) [RHQ]
14 परमेश्वर संवाद अवश्य करते हैं—कभी एक रीति से, कभी अन्य रीति से— मनुष्य इसके ओर ध्यान देने से चूक जाता है.
God does speak [to us] in various ways, but we do not pay any attention to what he says.
15 कभी तो स्वप्न के माध्यम से, कभी रात्रि में प्रकाशित दर्शन के माध्यम से, जब मनुष्य घोर निद्रा में पड़ा रहता है, जब वह बिछौने पर नींद में डूबता है.
[Sometimes he speaks to us] at night in dreams and visions, when we are on our beds, asleep [DOU].
16 तब परमेश्वर उसके कान को जागृत कर देते हैं. उसे चेतावनियों से भयभीत कर देते हैं,
He reveals things [MTY] to us and terrifies us by the things he warns us about.
17 कि ऐसा करके वह मनुष्य को उसके आचरण से दूर कर दें तथा मनुष्य को अहंकार से बचा लें;
He tell us those things in order that we stop doing [evil] things and to prevent us from becoming proud.
18 परमेश्वर गड्ढे से मनुष्य की आत्मा की रक्षा कर लेते हैं, कि उसका जीवन अधोलोक में न चला जाए.
He does not want us to be destroyed [MTY]; he wants to prevent us from dying [MTY] [while we are still young].
19 “मनुष्य जब अपने बिछौने पर होता है, तब भी उसे पीड़ा द्वारा सताया जाता है, इसके अतिरिक्त उसकी हड्डियों में गहन वेदना के द्वारा भी.
God also [sometimes] corrects us by forcing us to lie on our beds suffering much pain and with fever/aching in our bones.
20 परिणामस्वरूप उसका मन तक भोजन से घृणा करने लगता है भले ही वह उसका सर्वाधिक उत्तम भोजन रहा हो.
The result is that we do not desire any food, not even very special food.
21 उसके शरीर का मांस देखते ही सूख जाता है, वे हड्डियां, जो अदृश्य थी, मांस सूख कर अब स्पष्ट दिखाई दे रही हैं.
Our bodies become very thin, with the result that we look like skeletons [HYP], and our bones stick out.
22 तब उसके प्राण उस कब्र के निकट पहुंच जाते हैं, तथा उसका जीवन मृत्यु के दूतों के निकट पहुंच जाता है.
[We know that] we will soon die and go to the place where dead people are.
23 यदि सहस्रों में से कोई एक स्वर्गदूत ऐसा है, जो उसका मध्यस्थ है, कि उसे यह स्मरण दिलाए, कि उसके लिए सर्वोपयुक्त क्या है,
“But sometimes an angel [may come to one of us], one of the thousands of angels who come to intervene between us and God, to tell us what are the right things for us [to do].
24 तब वह बड़ी ही शालीनता के भाव में उससे यह कहे. ‘उसका उस कब्र में जाना निरस्त कर दिया जाए, मुझे इसके लिए छुड़ौती प्राप्त हो चुकी है;
The angel is kind to us and says to God, ‘Release that person, so that he does not descend to the place where dead people are! Do that because I have found the money to pay so that he can be released!
25 अब उसके मांस को नवयुवक के मांस से भी पुष्ट कर दिया जाए, उसे उसके युवावस्था के काल में पहुंचा दिया जाए.’
Allow his body to be strong again; allow him to be strong like he was when he was a youth!’
26 तब उसके लिए यह संभव हो जाएगा, कि वह परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना करे और परमेश्वर उसे स्वीकार भी कर लेंगे, कि वह हर्षोल्लास में परमेश्वर के चेहरे को निहार सके तथा परमेश्वर उस व्यक्ति की युक्तता की पुनःस्थापना कर सकें.
When that happens, that person will pray to God, and God will accept/answer him; he will (enter God’s presence/worship God) joyfully, and then he will tell others how God saved him [from dying].
27 वह गा गाकर अन्य मनुष्यों के सामने यह बता देगा. ‘मैंने धर्मी को विकृत करने का पाप किया है, मेरे लिए ऐसा करना उपयुक्त न था.
He will sing as he tells everyone, ‘I sinned, and I did things that were not right, but God did not punish me in the way that I deserved.
28 परमेश्वर ने मेरे प्राण को उस कब्र में जा पड़ने से बचा लिया है, अब मेरे प्राण उजियाले को देख सकेंगे.’
He has saved me from dying and going to the place where dead people are, and I will continue to enjoy being alive.’
29 “यह देख लेना, परमेश्वर मनुष्यों के साथ यह सब बहुधा करते हैं,
God does all these things for us many times;
30 कि वह उस कब्र से मनुष्य के प्राण लौटा लाएं, कि मनुष्य जीवन ज्योति के द्वारा प्रकाशित किया जा सके.
he keeps us [SYN] from [dying and] going to the place where the dead are, in order that we can continue to enjoy being alive [IDM].
31 “अय्योब, मेरे इन शब्दों को ध्यान से सुन लो; तुम चुप रहोगे, तो मैं अपना संवाद प्रारंभ करूंगा.
So Job, listen to me; do not say anything more; just allow me to speak.
32 यदि तुम्हें कुछ भी कहना हो तो कह दो, कह डालो; क्योंकि मैं चाहता हूं, कि मैं तुम्हें निर्दोष प्रमाणित कर दूं.
[After I speak], if you have something more that you want to say to me, say it, because I would like to find a way to declare that you (are innocent/have not done what is wrong).
33 यदि यह संभव नहीं, तो मेरा विचार ध्यान से सुन लो; यदि तुम चुप रहो, तो मैं तुम्हें बुद्धि की शिक्षा दे सकूंगा.”
But if you have nothing more that you want to say, then just listen to me, and I will teach you how to become wise.”
