अय्यूब 32
1 तब इन तीनों ने ही अय्योब को प्रत्युत्तर देना छोड़ दिया, क्योंकि अय्योब स्वयं की धार्मिकता के विषय में अटल मत के थे.
So these three men ceased to respond to Job, because, he, was righteous in their eyes.
2 किंतु राम के परिवार के बुज़वासी बारकएल के पुत्र एलिहू का क्रोध भड़क उठा-उसका यह क्रोध अय्योब पर ही था, क्योंकि अय्योब स्वयं को परमेश्वर के सामने नेक प्रमाणित करने में अटल थे.
Then was kindled the anger of Elihu, son of Barachel the Buzite of the family of Ram, —against Job, was kindled his anger, because he justified his own soul rather than God;
3 इसके विपरीत अय्योब अपने तीनों मित्रों पर नाराज थे, क्योंकि वे उनके प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने में विफल रहे थे.
and, against his three friends, was kindled his anger, —because that they found not a response, and condemned God.
4 अब तक एलिहू ने कुछ नहीं कहा था, क्योंकि वह उन सभी से कम उम्र का था.
But, Elihu, had waited for Job with words, because the others were older than he.
5 तब, जब एलिहू ने ध्यान दिया कि अन्य तीन प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने में असमर्थ थे, तब उसका क्रोध भड़क उठा.
Howbeit, when Elihu saw that there was no response in the mouth of the three men, then was kindled his anger.
6 तब बुज़वासी बारकएल के पुत्र एलिहू ने कहना प्रारंभ किया: “मैं ठहरा कम उम्र का और आप सभी बड़े; इसलिये मैं झिझकता रहा और मैंने अपने विचार व्यक्त नहीं किए.
So then Elihu, son of Barachel, the Buzite, responded and said: —Young, am I, whereas, ye, are aged, For this cause, I faltered, and feared—to shew my knowledge unto you:
7 मेरा मत यही था, ‘विचार वही व्यक्त करें, जो वर्षों में मुझसे आगे हैं, ज्ञान की शिक्षा वे ही दें, जो बड़े हैं.’
I said, Days, should speak, —and, the multitude of years, should make known wisdom.
8 वस्तुतः सर्वशक्तिमान की श्वास तथा परमेश्वर का आत्मा ही है, जो मनुष्य में ज्ञान प्रगट करता है.
Yet surely, there is a spirit in men, and, the inspiration of the Almighty, giveth them understanding;
9 संभावना तो यह है कि बड़े में विद्वत्ता ही न हो, तथा बड़े में न्याय की कोई समझ न हो.
Great men, may not be wise, nor, elders, understand justice.
10 “तब मैंने भी अपनी इच्छा प्रकट की ‘मेरी भी सुन लीजिए; मैं अपने विचार व्यक्त करूंगा.’
Therefore, I said, Hearken unto me, I will show my knowledge—even I.
11 सुनिए, अब तक मैं आप लोगों के वक्तव्य सुनता हुआ ठहरा रहा हूं, आप लोगों के विचार भी मैंने सुन लिए हैं, जो आप लोग घोर विचार करते हुए प्रस्तुत कर रहे थे.
Lo! I waited for your words, I kept giving ear for your reasons, until ye should search out what to say;
12 मैं आपके वक्तव्य बड़े ही ध्यानपूर्वक सुनता रहा हूं. निःसंदेह ऐसा कोई भी न था जिसने महोदय अय्योब के शब्दों का विरोध किया हो; आप में से एक ने भी उनका उत्तर नहीं दिया.
Yea, unto you, gave I diligent heed, —But lo! there was, for Job, nothing to convince, nor could you of you answer his speeches.
13 अब यह मत बोलना, ‘हमें ज्ञान की उपलब्धि हो गई है; मनुष्य नहीं, स्वयं परमेश्वर ही उनके तर्कों का खंडन करेंगे.’
Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom. GOD, must put him to flight, not man.
14 क्योंकि अय्योब ने अपना वक्तव्य मेरे विरोध में लक्षित नहीं किया था, मैं तो उन्हें आप लोगों के समान विचार से उत्तर भी न दे सकूंगा.
Since he directed not to me discourse, therefore, with your speeches, will I not reply to him.
15 “वे निराश हो चुके हैं, अब वे उत्तर ही नहीं दे रहे; अब तो उनके पास शब्द न रह गए हैं.
They were dismayed, they responded no more, they suffered speech to forsake them;
16 क्या उनके चुप रहने के कारण मुझे प्रतीक्षा करना होगा, क्योंकि अब वे वहां चुपचाप खड़े हुए हैं, उत्तर देने के लिए उनके सामने कुछ न रहा है.
Though I waited, yet could they not speak, Surely they came to a stand, they responded no more.
17 तब मैं भी अपने विचार प्रस्तुत करूंगा; मैं भी वह सब प्रकट करूंगा, जो मुझे मालूम है.
I will respond, even I—on my part, I will shew my knowledge, even I!
18 विचार मेरे मन में समाए हुए हैं, मेरी आत्मा मुझे प्रेरित कर रही है.
For I am full of discourse, The spirit in my bosom, presseth me on.
19 मेरा हृदय तो दाखमधु समान है, जिसे बंद कर रखा गया है, ऐसा जैसे नये दाखरस की बोतल फटने ही वाली है.
Lo! my bosom, is like wine not opened, Like new wine-skins, it will burst.
20 जो कुछ मुझे कहना है, उसे कहने दीजिए, ताकि मेरे हृदय को शांति मिल जाए; मुझे उत्तर देने दीजिए.
I will speak, that I may freely breathe, I will open my lips and respond.
21 मैं अब किसी का पक्ष न लूंगा और न किसी की चापलूसी ही करूंगा;
Let me be partial to no man, and, unto no son of earth, give flattering titles,
22 क्योंकि चापलूसी मेरे स्वभाव में नहीं है, तब यदि मैं यह करने लगूं, मेरे रचयिता मुझे यहां से उठा लें.
Surely I know not how to give flattering titles, How soon might my Maker take me away!
