अय्यूब 27
1 तब अपने वचन में अय्योब ने कहा:
Also Joob addide, takynge his parable, and seide,
2 “जीवित परमेश्वर की शपथ, जिन्होंने मुझे मेरे अधिकारों से वंचित कर दिया है, सर्वशक्तिमान ने मेरे प्राण को कड़वाहट से भर दिया है,
God lyueth, that hath take awey my doom, and Almyyti God, that hath brouyt my soule to bitternesse.
3 क्योंकि जब तक मुझमें जीवन शेष है, जब तक मेरे नथुनों में परमेश्वर का जीवन-श्वास है,
For as long as breeth is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nose thirlis,
4 निश्चयतः मेरे मुख से कुछ भी असंगत मुखरित न होगा, और न ही मेरी जीभ कोई छल उच्चारण करेगी.
my lippis schulen not speke wickidnesse, nether my tunge schal thenke a leesyng.
5 परमेश्वर ऐसा कभी न होने दें, कि तुम्हें सच्चा घोषित कर दूं; मृत्युपर्यंत मैं धार्मिकता का त्याग न करूंगा.
Fer be it fro me, that Y deme you iust; til Y faile, Y schal not go awei fro myn innocence.
6 अपनी धार्मिकता को मैं किसी भी रीति से छूट न जाने दूंगा; जीवन भर मेरा अंतर्मन मुझे नहीं धिक्कारेगा.
Y schal not forsake my iustifiyng, which Y bigan to holde; for myn herte repreueth me not in al my lijf.
7 “मेरा शत्रु दुष्ट-समान हो, मेरा विरोधी अन्यायी-समान हो.
As my wickid enemy doth; myn aduersarie is as wickid.
8 जब दुर्जन की आशा समाप्त हो जाती है, जब परमेश्वर उसके प्राण ले लेते हैं, तो फिर कौन सी आशा बाकी रह जाती है?
For what is the hope of an ypocrite, if he rauyschith gredili, and God delyuerith not his soule?
9 जब उस पर संकट आ पड़ेगा, क्या परमेश्वर उसकी पुकार सुनेंगे?
Whether God schal here the cry of hym, whanne angwisch schal come on hym?
10 तब भी क्या सर्वशक्तिमान उसके आनंद का कारण बने रहेंगे? क्या तब भी वह हर स्थिति में परमेश्वर को ही पुकारता रहेगा?
ether whether he may delite in Almyyti God, and inwardli clepe God in al tyme?
11 “मैं तुम्हें परमेश्वर के सामर्थ्य की शिक्षा देना चाहूंगा; सर्वशक्तिमान क्या-क्या कर सकते हैं, मैं यह छिपा नहीं रखूंगा.
Y schal teche you bi the hond of God, what thingis Almyyti God hath; and Y schal not hide.
12 वस्तुतः यह सब तुमसे गुप्त नहीं है; तब क्या कारण है कि तुम यह व्यर्थ बातें कर रहे हो?
Lo! alle ye knowen, and what speken ye veyn thingis with out cause?
13 “परमेश्वर की ओर से यही है दुर्वृत्तों की नियति, सर्वशक्तिमान की ओर से वह मीरास, जो अत्याचारी प्राप्त करते हैं.
This is the part of a wickid man anentis God, and the eritage of violent men, ether rauenours, whiche thei schulen take of Almyyti God.
14 यद्यपि उसके अनेक पुत्र हैं, किंतु उनके लिए तलवार-घात ही निर्धारित है; उसके वंश कभी पर्याप्त भोजन प्राप्त न कर सकेंगे.
If hise children ben multiplied, thei schulen be slayn in swerd; and hise sones sones schulen not be fillid with breed.
15 उसके उत्तरजीवी महामारी से कब्र में जाएंगे, उसकी विधवाएं रो भी न पाएंगी.
Thei, that ben residue of hym, schulen be biried in perischyng; and the widewis of hym schulen not wepe.
16 यद्यपि वह चांदी ऐसे संचित कर रहा होता है, मानो यह धूल हो तथा वस्त्र ऐसे एकत्र करता है, मानो वह मिट्टी का ढेर हो.
If he gaderith togidere siluer as erthe, and makith redi clothis as cley;
17 वह यह सब करता रहेगा, किंतु धार्मिक व्यक्ति ही इन्हें धारण करेंगे तथा चांदी निर्दोषों में वितरित कर दी जाएगी.
sotheli he made redi, but a iust man schal be clothid in tho, and an innocent man schal departe the siluer.
18 उसका घर मकड़ी के जाले-समान निर्मित है, अथवा उस आश्रय समान, जो चौकीदार अपने लिए बना लेता है.
As a mouyte he hath bildid his hous, and as a kepere he made a schadewyng place.
19 बिछौने पर जाते हुए, तो वह एक धनवान व्यक्ति था; किंतु अब इसके बाद उसे जागने पर कुछ भी नहीं रह जाता है.
A riche man, whanne he schal die, schal bere no thing with hym; he schal opene hise iyen, and he schal fynde no thing.
20 आतंक उसे बाढ़ समान भयभीत कर लेता है; रात्रि में आंधी उसे चुपचाप ले जाती है.
Pouert as water schal take hym; and tempeste schal oppresse hym in the nyyt.
21 पूर्वी वायु उसे दूर ले उड़ती है, वह विलीन हो जाता है; क्योंकि आंधी उसे ले उड़ी है.
Brennynge wynd schal take hym, and schal do awei; and as a whirlewynd it schal rauysche hym fro his place.
22 क्योंकि यह उसे बिना किसी कृपा के फेंक देगा; वह इससे बचने का प्रयास अवश्य करेगा.
He schal sende out turmentis on hym, and schal not spare; he fleynge schal `fle fro his hond.
23 लोग उसकी स्थिति को देख आनंदित हो ताली बजाएंगे तथा उसे उसके स्थान से खदेड़ देंगे.”
He schal streyne hise hondis on him, and he schal hisse on hym, and schal biholde his place.
