अय्यूब 26
1 तब अय्योब ने उत्तर दिया:
Then responded Job, and said: —
2 “क्या सहायता की है तुमने एक दुर्बल की! वाह! कैसे तुमने बिना शक्ति का उपयोग किए ही एक हाथ की रक्षा कर डाली है!
How hast thou given help to one of no-strength? given victory to an arm of no-power?
3 कैसे तुमने एक ज्ञानहीन व्यक्ति को ऐसा परामर्श दे डाला है! कैसे समृद्धि से तुमने ठीक अंतर्दृष्टि प्रदान की है!
How hast thou given counsel to one of no-wisdom? or, effective wisdom, abundantly made known?
4 किसने तुम्हें इस बात के लिए प्रेरित किया है? किसकी आत्मा तुम्हारे द्वारा बातें की है?
Whom hast thou taught speech? Whose inspiration hath come from thee?
5 “मृतकों की आत्माएं थरथरा उठी हैं, वे जो जल-जन्तुओं से भी नीचे के तल में बसी हुई हैं.
The shades, tremble, beneath the waters and their inhabitants;
Naked is hades before him, and there is no covering to destruction; (Sheol h7585)
7 परमेश्वर ने उत्तर दिशा को रिक्त अंतरीक्ष में विस्तीर्ण किया है; पृथ्वी को उन्होंने शून्य में लटका दिया है.
Who stretcheth out the north over emptiness, hangeth the earth upon nothingness;
8 वह जल को अपने मेघों में लपेट लेते हैं तथा उनके नीचे मेघ नहीं बरस पाते हैं.
Who bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not rent beneath them;
9 वह पूर्ण चंद्रमा का चेहरा छिपा देते हैं तथा वह अपने मेघ इसके ऊपर फैला देते हैं.
Who shutteth-in the face of the throne, he spreadeth over it his cloud;
10 उन्होंने जल के ऊपर क्षितिज का चिन्ह लगाया है. प्रकाश तथा अंधकार की सीमा पर.
A, boundary, hath he encircled on the face of the waters, as far as where light ends in darkness;
11 स्वर्ग के स्तंभ कांप उठते हैं तथा उन्हें परमेश्वर की डांट पर आश्चर्य होता है.
The pillars of the heavens, are shaken, and are terrified at his rebuke:
12 अपने सामर्थ्य से उन्होंने सागर को मंथन किया; अपनी समझ बूझ से उन्होंने राहाब को संहार कर दिया.
By his strength, hath he excited the sea, and, by his skill, hath he shattered the Crocodile:
13 उनका श्वास स्वर्ग को उज्जवल बना देता है; उनकी भुजा ने द्रुत सर्प को बेध डाला है.
By his spirit, hath he arched the heavens, His hand hath pierced the fleeing serpent.
14 यह समझ लो, कि ये सब तो उनके महाकार्य की झलक मात्र है; उनके विषय में हम कितना कम सुन पाते हैं! तब किसमें क्षमता है कि उनके पराक्रम की थाह ले सके?”
Lo! these, are the fringes of his way, and what a whisper of a word hath been heard of him! But, the thunder of his might, who could understand?
