अय्यूब 23
1 तब अय्योब ने कहा:
Sotheli Joob answeride, and seide,
2 “आज भी अपराध के भाव में मैं शिकायत कर रहा हूं; मैं कराह रहा हूं, फिर भी परमेश्वर मुझ पर कठोर बने हुए हैं.
Now also my word is in bitternesse, and the hond of my wounde is agreggid on my weilyng.
3 उत्तम होगा कि मुझे यह मालूम होता कि मैं कहां जाकर उनसे भेंट कर सकूं, कि मैं उनके निवास पहुंच सकूं!
Who yyueth to me, that Y knowe, and fynde hym, and come `til to his trone?
4 तब मैं उनके सामने अपनी शिकायत प्रस्तुत कर देता, अपने सारे विचार उनके सामने उंडेल देता.
Y schal sette doom bifor hym, and Y schal fille my mouth with blamyngis;
5 तब मुझे उनके उत्तर समझ आ जाते, मुझे यह मालूम हो जाता कि वह मुझसे क्या कहेंगे.
that Y kunne the wordis, whiche he schal answere to me, and that Y vnderstonde, what he schal speke to me.
6 क्या वह अपनी उस महाशक्ति के साथ मेरा सामना करेंगे? नहीं! निश्चयतः वह मेरे निवेदन पर ध्यान देंगे.
Y nyle, that he stryue with me bi greet strengthe, nether oppresse me with the heuynesse of his greetnesse.
7 सज्जन उनसे वहां विवाद करेंगे तथा मैं उनके न्याय के द्वारा मुक्ति प्राप्त करूंगा.
Sette he forth equite ayens me, and my doom come perfitli to victorie.
8 “अब यह देख लो: मैं आगे बढ़ता हूं, किंतु वह वहां नहीं हैं; मैं विपरीत दिशा में आगे बढ़ता हूं, किंतु वह वहां भी दिखाई नहीं देते.
If Y go to the eest, God apperith not; if Y go to the west, Y schal not vndurstonde hym; if Y go to the left side,
9 जब वह मेरे बायें पक्ष में सक्रिय होते हैं; वह मुझे दिखाई नहीं देते.
what schal Y do? Y schal not take hym; if Y turne me to the riyt side, Y schal not se hym.
10 किंतु उन्हें यह अवश्य मालूम रहता है कि मैं किस मार्ग पर आगे बढ़ रहा हूं; मैं तो उनके द्वारा परखे जाने पर कुन्दन समान शुद्ध प्रमाणित हो जाऊंगा.
But he knowith my weie, and he schal preue me as gold, that passith thorouy fier.
11 मेरे पांव उनके पथ से विचलित नहीं हुए; मैंने कभी कोई अन्य मार्ग नहीं चुना है.
My foot suede hise steppis; Y kepte his weie, and Y bowide not awey fro it.
12 उनके मुख से निकले आदेशों का मैं सदैव पालन करता रहा हूं; उनके आदेशों को मैं अपने भोजन से अधिक अमूल्य मानता रहा हूं.
Y yede not awei fro the comaundementis of hise lippis; and Y hidde in my bosum the wordis of his mouth.
13 “वह तो अप्रतिम है, उनका, कौन हो सकता है विरोधी? वह वही करते हैं, जो उन्हें सर्वोपयुक्त लगता है.
For he is aloone, and no man may turne awei hise thouytis; and what euer thing he wolde, his wille dide this thing.
14 जो कुछ मेरे लिए पहले से ठहरा है, वह उसे पूरा करते हैं, ऐसी ही अनेक योजनाएं उनके पास जमा हैं.
Whanne he hath fillid his wille in me, also many othere lijk thingis ben redi to hym.
15 इसलिये उनकी उपस्थिति मेरे लिए भयास्पद है; इस विषय में मैं जितना विचार करता हूं, उतना ही भयभीत होता जाता हूं.
And therfor Y am disturblid of his face, and Y biholdynge hym am anguyschid for drede.
16 परमेश्वर ने मेरे हृदय को क्षीण बना दिया है; मेरा घबराना सर्वशक्तिमान जनित है,
God hath maad neische myn herte, and Almyyti God hath disturblid me.
17 किंतु अंधकार मुझे चुप नहीं रख सकेगा, न ही वह घोर अंधकार, जिसने मेरे मुख को ढक कर रखा है.
For Y perischide not for derknessis neiyynge; nethir myist hilide my face.
