यिर्मयाह 30

1 वह संदेश जो याहवेह द्वारा येरेमियाह के लिए प्रगट किया गया:

The word that has been to Jeremiah from YHWH, saying,

2 “याहवेह, इस्राएल के परमेश्वर का आदेश यह है: ‘एक पुस्तक में तुमसे की गई मेरी संपूर्ण बात को लिख लो.

“Thus spoke YHWH, God of Israel, saying, Write for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you on a scroll.

3 क्योंकि यह देख लेना, ऐसे दिन आ रहे हैं,’ यह याहवेह की वाणी है, ‘जब मैं अपने लोग इस्राएल तथा यहूदिया की समृद्धि लौटा दूंगा,’ याहवेह की यह वाणी है, ‘मैं उन्हें उस देश में लौटा ले आऊंगा, जो मैंने उनके पूर्वजों को प्रदान किया था और वे उस पर अधिकार कर लेंगे.’”

For behold, days are coming—a declaration of YHWH—and I have turned back [to] the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, said YHWH, and I have caused them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they possess it.”

4 इस्राएल एवं यहूदिया से संबंधित याहवेह का वचन यह है:

And these [are] the words that YHWH has spoken concerning Israel and concerning Judah:

5 “याहवेह का संदेश यह है: “‘मैंने एक भय की पुकार सुनी है— आतंक की ध्वनि, शांति है ही नहीं.

Surely thus said YHWH: “We have heard a voice of trembling, Fear—and there is no peace.

6 ज्ञात करो, विचार करो: क्या पुरुष के लिए प्रसव संभव है? तब कारण क्या है कि हर एक पुरुष अपने कमर पर हाथ रखे हुए है, प्रसूता के सदृश और उनका मुखमंडल विवर्ण क्यों हो गया है?

Now ask and see, is a male bringing forth? Why have I seen every man [With] his hands on his loins, as a travailing woman, And all faces have been turned to paleness?

7 हाय! क्योंकि भयंकर होगा वह दिन! ऐसा कभी देखा ही नहीं गया. यह याकोब की वेदना का समय होगा, किंतु याकोब इसमें से पार निकल जाएगा.

Woe! For that day [is] great, without any like it, Indeed, it [is] the time of Jacob’s tribulation, Yet he is saved out of it.

8 “‘उस दिन ऐसा होगा,’ यह सेनाओं के याहवेह की वाणी है, ‘मैं उसकी गर्दन पर पड़ा हुआ जूआ तोड़ डालूंगा तथा उनके बंधन तोड़ डालूंगा; तब इसके बाद अपरिचित आकर उन्हें दास नहीं बनाएंगे.

And it has come to pass in that day, A declaration of YHWH of Hosts, I break his yoke from off your neck, And I draw away your bands, And strangers lay no more service on him.

9 तब वे याहवेह अपने परमेश्वर तथा दावीद अपने राजा के अधीन रहेंगे, जिसका मैं उनके लिए उद्भव करूंगा.

And they have served their God YHWH, And David their king whom I raise up to them.

10 “‘याकोब, मेरे सेवक, भयभीत न होओ; और इस्राएल, हताश न हो जाओ,’ यह याहवेह का आदेश है. ‘क्योंकि तुम यह देखोगे कि तुम चाहे कितनी भी दूर क्यों न रहो, मैं तुम्हारे वंशजों का उद्धार उनके बंधुआई के देश में से करूंगा. तब याकोब लौट आएगा, वह सुरक्षित रहेगा तथा सुख-शांति की स्थिति में निवास करेगा, कोई भी उसे भयभीत न करेगा.

And you, do not be afraid, My servant Jacob, A declaration of YHWH, Nor be frightened, O Israel, For behold, I am saving you from afar, And your seed from the land of their captivity, And Jacob has turned back and rested, And is quiet, and there is none troubling.

11 क्योंकि मैं तुम्हारे साथ रहूंगा, कि तुम्हें विमुक्त कर दूं,’ यह याहवेह की वाणी है. ‘मैं उन सभी जनताओं का सर्वनाश कर दूंगा, जहां मैंने तुम्हें बिखरा दिया था, किंतु मैं तुम्हें पूर्णतः नष्ट नहीं करूंगा. मैं तुम्हारी न्यायोचित प्रताड़ना अवश्य करूंगा; किसी भी स्थिति में मैं तुम्हें अदण्डित न छोडूंगा.’

For I [am] with you,” A declaration of YHWH, “To save you, For I make an end of all the nations To where I have scattered you, Only, I do not make an end of you, And I have disciplined you in judgment, And do not entirely acquit you.”

12 “क्योंकि याहवेह का स्पष्टीकरण यह है: “‘असाध्य है तुम्हारा घाव, तथा गंभीर है तुम्हें लगी हुई चोट.

For thus said YHWH: “Your breach is incurable, your stroke grievous,

13 तुम्हारा समर्थन करनेवाला कोई भी नहीं है, न तो तुम्हारे घाव भरेंगे, और न ही तुम्हें स्वास्थ्य पुनः प्राप्‍त होगा.

There is none judging your cause to bind up, There are no healing medicines for you.

14 जिन्हें तुमसे प्रेम था, उन्होंने तुम्हें भूलना पसंद कर दिया है; उन्हें तुम्हारी कोई चिंता नहीं. मैंने तुम्हें वह घाव दिया है, जो एक शत्रु ही दे सकता है, एक ऐसा दंड, जो निर्मम शत्रु दिया करता है, क्योंकि घोर है तुम्हारा अपराध तथा असंख्य हैं तुम्हारे पाप.

All loving you have forgotten you, They do not seek you, For I struck you with the stroke of an enemy, The discipline of a fierce one, Because of the abundance of your iniquity, your sins have been mighty!

15 अपने घावों पर विलाप क्यों कर रहे हो, तुम्हारी पीड़ा असाध्य है? इसलिये कि तुम्हारी पापिष्ठता जघन्य है तथा असंख्य हैं तुम्हारे पाप. मैंने ही तुम्हारे साथ ऐसा व्यवहार किया है.

Why do you cry concerning your breach? Your pain [is] incurable, Because of the abundance of your iniquity, Your sins have been mighty! I have done these to you.

16 “‘इसलिये वे सभी, जो तुम्हें निगल रहे हैं, स्वयं निगल लिए जाएंगे; तुम्हारे सब शत्रु बंधुआई में चले जाएंगे. वे, जो तुम्हें लूट रहे हैं, स्वयं लूट लिए जाएंगे. वे, जो तुम्हें शिकार बना रहे हैं, मैं उन्हें शिकार होने के लिए सौंप दूंगा.

Therefore all consuming you are consumed, And all your adversaries—all of them—Go into captivity, And your spoilers have been for a spoil, And I give up all your plunderers to plunder.

17 क्योंकि मैं तुम्हारा स्वास्थ्य पुनःस्थापित करूंगा, तथा तुम्हारे घावों को भर दूंगा,’ यह याहवेह की वाणी है, ‘क्योंकि उन्होंने तुम्हें गृहवंचित घोषित कर दिया है, उन्होंने कहा है, यह ज़ियोन है; उन्हें तुम्हारी कोई चिंता नहीं.’

For I increase health to you, And I heal you from your strokes,” A declaration of YHWH, “For they have called you an outcast, [saying], It [is] Zion, There is none seeking for her.”

18 “यह याहवेह की वाणी है: “‘तुम देखना मैं याकोब के शिविर की समृद्धि को लौटाकर दूंगा, मैं ध्वस्त आवासों के प्रति अनुकम्पा प्रदर्शित करूंगा; उसके खंडहरों पर ही नगर का पुनर्निर्माण होगा, तथा महल अपने यथास्थान पर प्रतिष्ठित किया जाएगा.

Thus said YHWH: “Behold, I turn back [to] the captivity of the tents of Jacob, And I pity his dwelling places, And the city has been built on its heap, And the palace remains according to its ordinance.

19 उनसे धन्यवाद तथा हर्षोल्लास का स्वर आता रहेगा. मैं उनकी संख्या में वृद्धि करूंगा, उनकी संख्या कम न होगी; मैं उन्हें सम्मान्य बना दूंगा, वे नगण्य न रहेंगे.

And thanksgiving has gone forth from them, And the voice of playful ones, And I have multiplied them and they are not few, And made them honorable, and they are not small.

20 उनकी संतान भी पूर्ववत समृद्ध हो जाएगी, मेरे समक्ष सारा राष्ट्र प्रतिष्ठित हो जाएगा; तथा मैं उन्हें दंड दूंगा, जिन्होंने उन पर अत्याचार किया था.

And his sons have been as before, And his congregation is established before Me, And I have seen after all his oppressors.

21 उन्हीं का अपना स्वजन उनका उच्चाधिकारी हो जाएगा; उन्हीं के मध्य से उनके उच्चाधिकारी का उद्भव होगा. मेरे आमंत्रण पर वह मेरे निकट आएगा अन्यथा कैसे मेरे निकट आकर अपने प्राण को जोखिम में डालेगा?’ यह याहवेह की वाणी है.

And his majestic one has been of himself, And his ruler goes forth from his midst, And I have caused him to draw near, And he has drawn near to Me, For who [is] he who has pledged his heart To draw near to Me?” A declaration of YHWH.

22 ‘तब तुम मेरी प्रजा हो जाओगे, तथा मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर.’”

“And you have been to Me for a people, And I am to you for God.”

23 देख लो, याहवेह के बवंडर को, उनका कोप क्रोध हो चुका है, यह बवंडर सब कुछ उड़ा ले जाएगा ये बुराइयां सिर पर टूट पड़ेंगी.

Behold, a whirlwind of YHWH—Fury has gone forth—a cutting whirlwind, It stays on the head of the wicked.

24 याहवेह का प्रचंड कोप तब तक अलग न होगा, जब तक वह अपने हृदय की बातों को पूर्ण नहीं कर लेते, जब तक वह इसका निष्पादन नहीं कर लेते. अंतिम दिनों में तुम्हारे समक्ष यह सब स्पष्ट हो जाएगा.

The fierceness of the anger of YHWH Does not turn back until He has done [it], Indeed, until His establishing the purposes of His heart. In the latter end of the days you consider it!
