यिर्मयाह 23

1 “धिक्कार है उन चरवाहों पर जो मेरी चराई की भेड़ों को तितर-बितर कर रहे तथा उन्हें नष्ट कर रहे हैं!” यह याहवेह की वाणी है.

Wo to the scheepherdis, that scateren and to-drawen the floc of my lesewe, seith the Lord.

2 इसलिये उन चरवाहों के विषय में, जो याहवेह की भेड़ों के रखवाले हैं, याहवेह, इस्राएल के परमेश्वर का संदेश यह है: “तुमने मेरी भेड़ों को तितर-बितर कर दिया है, उन्हें खदेड़ दिया है तथा उनकी देखभाल नहीं की है, इसलिये यह समझ लो कि मैं तुम्हारे अधर्म का प्रतिफल देने ही पर हूं.” यह याहवेह की वाणी है.

Therfor the Lord God of Israel seith these thingis to the scheepherdis, that feeden my puple, Ye han scaterid my floc, and han cast hem out, and han not visitid hem; lo! Y schal visite on you the malice of youre studies, seith the Lord.

3 “तत्पश्चात स्वयं मैं अपनी भेड़-बकरियों के बचे हुए लोगों को उन सारे देशों से एकत्र करूंगा, जहां मैंने उन्हें खदेड़ दिया था, मैं उन्हें उन्हीं के चराइयों में लौटा ले आऊंगा जहां वे सम्पन्‍न होते और संख्या में बढ़ते जाएंगे.

And Y schal gadere togidere the remenauntis of my floc fro alle londis, to whiche Y schal caste hem out thidur; and Y schal turne hem to her feeldis, and thei schulen encreesse, and schulen be multiplied.

4 मैं उनके लिए चरवाहे भी तैयार करूंगा वे उनकी देखभाल करेंगे, तब उनके समक्ष किसी भी प्रकार का भय न रहेगा, उनमें से कोई भी न तो व्याकुल होगा और न ही कोई उनमें से खो जाएगा,” यह याहवेह की वाणी है.

And Y schal reise schepherdis on hem, and thei schulen feede hem; thei schulen no more drede, and schulen not be aferd; and noon schal be souyt of the noumbre seith the Lord.

5 “यह देख लेना कि ऐसे दिन आ रहे हैं,” यह याहवेह की वाणी है, “जब मैं दावीद के लिए एक धार्मिकतापूर्ण शाखा उत्पन्‍न करूंगा, वह राजा सदृश राज्य-काल करेगा तथा उसके निर्णय विद्वत्तापूर्ण होंगे उस देश में न्याय एवं धार्मिकतापूर्ण होगा.

Lo! daies comen, seith the Lord, and Y schal reise a iust buriownyng to Dauid; and he schal regne a kyng, and he schal be wijs, and he schal make doom and riytfulnesse in erthe.

6 तब उन दिनों में यहूदिया संरक्षित रखा जाएगा तथा इस्राएल सुरक्षा में निवास करेगा. उन दिनों उसकी पहचान होगी: ‘याहवेह हमारी धार्मिकता.’

In tho daies Juda schal be sauid, and Israel schal dwelle tristili; and this is the name which thei schulen clepe hym, The Lord oure riytful.

7 इसलिये यह देखना, ऐसे दिन आ रहे हैं,” यह याहवेह की वाणी है, “जब वे ऐसा कहना छोड़ देंगे, ‘जीवित याहवेह की शपथ, जिन्होंने इस्राएल वंशजों का मिस्र देश से निकास किया,’

For this thing lo! daies comen, seith the Lord, and thei schulen no more seie, The Lord lyueth, that ledde the sones of Israel out of the lond of Egipt;

8 बल्कि वे यह कहने लगेंगे, ‘जीवित याहवेह की शपथ, जो इस्राएल के परिवार के वंशजों को उस देश से जो उत्तर में है तथा उन सभी देशों में से जहां मैंने उन्हें खदेड़ दिया था, निकास कर लौटा ले आया हूं.’ तब वे अपनी मातृभूमि पर निवास करने लगेंगे.”

but, The Lord lyueth, that ledde out, and brouyte the seed of the hous of Israel fro the lond of the north, and fro alle londis to whiche Y hadde cast hem out thidur; and thei schulen dwelle in her lond.

9 भविष्यवक्ताओं के विषय में मैं यह कहूंगा: भीतर ही भीतर मेरा हृदय टूट चुका है; मेरी सारी अस्थियां थरथरा रही हैं. मेरी स्थिति मतवाले व्यक्ति के सदृश हो चुकी है, उस व्यक्ति के सदृश जो दाखमधु से अचंभित हो चुका है, इस स्थिति का कारण हैं याहवेह और उनके पवित्र वचन.

To the prophetis; Myn herte is contrit in the myddis of me, alle my boonys trembliden togidere; Y am maad as a man drunkun, and as a man weet of wyn, of the face of the Lord, and of the face of the hooli wordis of hym;

10 देश व्यभिचारियों से परिपूर्ण हो चुका है; शाप के कारण देश विलाप में डूबा हुआ है, निर्जन प्रदेश के चराई शुष्क हो चुके हैं. उनकी जीवनशैली संकटमय है तथा उनका बल का उपयोग अन्याय के कामों में होता है.

for the lond is fillid with auowteris. For the erthe mourenede of the face of cursyng; the feeldis of desert ben maad drie, the cours of hem is maad yuel, and her strengthe is vnlijk.

11 “क्योंकि दोनों ही श्रद्धाहीन हैं, भविष्यद्वक्ता एवं पुरोहित; मेरे ही भवन में मैंने उनका अधर्म देखा है,” यह याहवेह की वाणी है.

For whi the profete and the prest ben defoulid; and in myn hous, seith the Lord, Y foond the yuel of hem.

12 “इसलिये उनका मार्ग उनके लिए अंधकार में फिसलन सदृश हो जाएगा; वे अंधकार में धकेल दिए जाएंगे जहां उनका गिर जाना निश्चित है. क्योंकि मैं उन पर विपत्ति ले आऊंगा, जो उनके दंड का वर्ष होगा,” यह याहवेह की वाणी है.

Therfor the weie of hem schal be as slidur in derknessis, for thei schulen be hurtlid, and schulen falle doun therynne; for Y schal bringe on hem yuels, the yeer of visitacioun of hem, seith the Lord.

13 “मुझे शमरिया के भविष्यवक्ताओं में एक घृणास्पद संस्कार दिखाई दिया है: उन्होंने बाल से उत्प्रेरित हो भविष्यवाणी की है तथा मेरी प्रजा इस्राएल को रास्ते से भटका दिया है.

And in the profetis of Samarie Y siy fonnednesse, and thei profesieden in Baal, and disseyueden my puple Israel.

14 इसके सिवाय येरूशलेम के भविष्यवक्ताओं में भी मैंने एक भयानक बात देखी है: मेरे प्रति उनके संबंध में वैसा ही विश्वासघात हुआ है जैसा दाम्पत्य में व्यभिचार से होता है. वे बुराइयों के हाथों को सशक्त करने में लगे हुए हैं, परिणामस्वरूप कोई भी बुराई का परित्याग नहीं कर रहा. मेरी दृष्टि में वे सभी सोदोमवासियों सदृश हो चुके हैं; वहां के निवासी अमोराह सदृश हो गए हैं.”

And in the profetis of Jerusalem Y siy licnesse, auoutrie, and the weie of leesyng; and thei confortiden the hondis of the worste men, that ech man schulde not conuerte fro his malice; alle thei ben maad as Sodom to me, and alle the dwellers therof `ben maad as Gommorre.

15 इसलिये भविष्यवक्ताओं के संबंध में याहवेह की वाणी है: “यह देख लेना कि मैं उन्हें नागदौन खिलाऊंगा तथा उन्हें पेय स्वरूप विष से भरा जल पिलाऊंगा, क्योंकि येरूशलेम के भविष्यवक्ताओं से ही श्रद्धाहीनता संपूर्ण देश में व्याप्‍त हो गई है.”

Therfor the Lord of oostis seith these thingis to the prophetis, Lo! Y schal feed hem with wermod, and Y schal yyue drynke to hem with galle; for whi defoulyng is goen out of the profetis of Jerusalem on al the lond.

16 यह सेनाओं के याहवेह का आदेश है: “मत सुनो भविष्यवक्ताओं के वचन जो तुम्हारे लिए भविष्यवाणी कर रहे हैं; वे तुम्हें व्यर्थ की ओर ले जा रहे है. वे अपनी ही कल्पना के दर्शन का उल्लेख करते हैं, न कि याहवेह के मुख से उद्‍भूत संदेश को.

The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Nyle ye here the wordis of profetis, that profesien to you, and disseyuen you; thei speken the visioun of her herte, not of the mouth of the Lord.

17 जिन्हें मुझसे घृणा है वे यह आश्वासन देते रहते हैं, ‘याहवेह ने यह कहा है: तुम्हारे मध्य शांति व्याप्‍त रहेगी.’ तब तुम सभी के विषय में जो अपने हृदय के हठ में आचरण करते हो, मुझे यह कहना है: वे कहते तो हैं, ‘तुम पर विपत्ति के आने की कोई संभावना ही नहीं हैं.’

Thei seien to hem that blasfemen me, The Lord spak, Pees schal be to you; and thei seiden to ech man that goith in the schrewidnesse of his herte, Yuel schal not come on you.

18 कौन याहवेह की संसद में उपस्थित हुआ है, कि याहवेह को देखे तथा उनका स्वर सुने?

For whi who is present in the councel of the Lord, and siy, and herde his word? who bihelde, and herde the word of hym?

19 ध्यान दो, कि याहवेह का प्रकोप आंधी सदृश प्रभावी हो चुका है, हां, बवंडर सदृश यह दुष्टों के सिरों पर भंवर सदृश उतर पड़ेगा.

Lo! the whirlewynd of the Lordis indignacioun schal go out, and tempest brekynge schal come on the heed of wickid men.

20 याहवेह के कोप का बुझना उस समय तक नहीं होता जब तक वह अपने हृदय की बातें कार्यान्वयन की निष्पत्ति नहीं कर लेते. भावी अंतिम दिनों में तुम यह स्पष्ट समझ लोगे.

The strong veniaunce of the Lord schal not turne ayen, til that he do, and til that he fille the thouyt of his herte. In the laste daies ye schulen vndurstonde the councel of hym.

21 जब मैंने इन भविष्यवक्ताओं को भेजा ही नहीं था, वे दौड़ पड़े थे; उनसे तो मैंने बात ही नहीं की थी, किंतु वे भविष्यवाणी करने लगे.

Y sente not the profetis, and thei runnen; Y spak not to hem, and thei profesieden.

22 यदि वे मेरी संसद में उपस्थित हुए होते, तो वे निश्चयतः मेरी प्रजा के समक्ष मेरा संदेश भेजा करते, वे मेरी प्रजा को कुमार्ग से लौटा ले आते और वे अपने दुराचरण का परित्याग कर देते.

If thei hadden stonde in my councel, and hadde maad knowun my wordis to my puple, forsothe Y hadde turned hem awei fro her yuel weie, and fro her worste thouytis.

23 “क्या मैं परमेश्वर तब होता हूं, जब मैं तुम्हारे निकट हूं?” यह याहवेह की वाणी है, “क्या मैं तब परमेश्वर नहीं हूं, जब मैं तुमसे दूर होता हूं?

Gessist thou, whether Y am God of niy, seith the Lord, and not God afer?

24 क्या कोई व्यक्ति स्वयं को किसी छिपने के स्थान पर ऐसे छिपा सकता है, कि मैं उसे देख न सकूं?” यह याहवेह का प्रश्न है. “क्या आकाश और पृथ्वी मुझसे पूर्ण नहीं हैं?” यह याहवेह का प्रश्न है.

A man schal not be priuy in hid places, and Y schal not se hym, seith the Lord. Whether Y fille not heuene and erthe? seith the Lord.

25 “मैंने वह सुन लिया है जो झूठे भविष्यवक्ताओं ने मेरा नाम लेकर इस प्रकार भविष्यवाणी करते हैं: ‘मुझे एक स्वप्न आया था! सुना तुमने, मुझे एक स्वप्न आया था!’

Y herde what thingis the profetis seiden, profesiynge a leesyng in my name, and seiynge, Y dremede dremes.

26 और कब तक? क्या उन भविष्यवक्ताओं के हृदय में जो झूठी भविष्यवाणी करते रहते हैं, कुछ सार्थक है, हां, वे भविष्यद्वक्ता जो अपने ही हृदय के भ्रम की भविष्यवाणी करते रहते हैं.

Hou longe is this thing in the herte of profetis, profesiynge a leesyng, and profesiynge the disseite of her herte?

27 जिनका एकमात्र लक्ष्य होता है उनके उन स्वप्नों के द्वारा, जिनका उल्लेख वे परस्पर करते रहते हैं, मेरी प्रजा मेरा नाम ही भूलना पसंद कर दे, ठीक जिस प्रकार बाल के कारण उनके पूर्वजों ने मेरा नाम भूलना पसंद कर रखा था.

Whiche wolen make, that my puple foryete my name for the dremes of hem, which ech man tellith to his neiybore, as the fadris of hem foryaten my name for Baal.

28 जिस भविष्यद्वक्ता ने स्वप्न देखा है वह अपने स्वप्न का उल्लेख करता रहे, किंतु जिस किसी को मेरा संदेश सौंपा गया है वह पूर्ण निष्ठा से मेरा संदेश प्रगट करे. भला भूसी तथा अन्‍न में कोई साम्य होता है?” यह याहवेह की वाणी है.

A profete that hath a dreme, telle a dreem; and he that hath my word, speke verili my word. What is with chaffis to the wheete? seith the Lord.

29 “क्या मेरा संदेश अग्नि-सदृश नहीं?” यह याहवेह का प्रश्न है, “और क्या एक हथौड़े सदृश नहीं जो चट्टान को चूर्ण कर देता है?

Whether my wordis ben not as fier brennynge, seith the Lord, and as an hamer al to-brekynge a stoon?

30 “इसलिये यह समझ लो, मैं उन भविष्यवक्ताओं से रुष्ट हूं,” यह याहवेह की वाणी है, “जो एक दूसरे से मेरा संदेश छीनते रहते हैं.

Therfor lo! Y am redi to the profetis, seith the Lord, that stelen my wordis, ech man fro his neiybore.

31 यह समझ लो, मैं उन भविष्यवक्ताओं से रुष्ट हूं,” यह याहवेह की वाणी है, “जो अपनी जीभ का प्रयोग कर यह वाणी कहते हैं, ‘यह प्रभु की वाणी है.’

Lo! Y to the profetis, seith the Lord, that taken her tungis, and seien, The Lord seith.

32 यह समझ लो, मैं उन सभी से रुष्ट हूं जिन्होंने झूठे स्वप्नों को भविष्यवाणी का स्वरूप दे दिया है,” यह याहवेह की वाणी है. “तथा इन स्वप्नों को मेरी प्रजा के समक्ष प्रस्तुत करके अपने लापरवाह झूठों तथा दुस्साहसमय गर्वोक्ति द्वारा उन्हें भरमाते है. मैंने न तो उन्हें कोई आदेश दिया है और न ही उन्हें भेजा है. मेरी प्रजा को इनसे थोड़ा भी लाभ नहीं हुआ है,” यह याहवेह की वाणी है.

Lo! Y to the profetis, dremynge a leesyng, seith the Lord; which telden tho, and disseyueden my puple in her leesyng, and in her myraclis, whanne Y hadde not sente hem, nether hadde comaundide to hem; whiche profitiden no thing to this puple, seith the Lord.

33 “अब यदि ऐसी स्थिति आए, जब जनसाधारण अथवा भविष्यद्वक्ता अथवा पुरोहित तुमसे यह प्रश्न करें, ‘क्या है याहवेह का प्रकाशन?’ तब तुम्हें उन्हें उत्तर देना होगा, ‘कौन सा प्रकाशन?’ याहवेह की वाणी है, मैं तुम्हारा परित्याग कर दूंगा.

Therfor if this puple, ether profete, ether prest, axith thee, and seith, What is the birthun of the Lord? thou schalt seie to hem, Ye ben the birthun, for Y schal caste you awei, seith the Lord;

34 तब उस भविष्यद्वक्ता अथवा पुरोहित अथवा उन लोगों के विषय में जो यह कहते हैं, ‘याहवेह का सारगर्भित प्रकाशन,’ उस पर मेरी ओर से दंड प्रभावी हो जाएगा उस पर तथा उसके परिवार पर.

and a profete, and a prest, and the puple, that seith, The birthun of the Lord, Y schal visite on that man, and on his hous.

35 तुममें से हर एक अपने-अपने पड़ोसी एवं अपने बंधु से यह पूछेगा: ‘क्या था याहवेह का प्रत्युत्तर?’ अथवा, ‘क्या प्रकट किया है याहवेह ने?’ या

Ye schulen seie these thingis, ech man to his neiybore, and to his brother, What answeride the Lord? and what spak the Lord?

36 ‘क्योंकि याहवेह का प्रकाशन तुम्हें स्मरण न रह जाएगा,’ क्योंकि हर एक व्यक्ति के अपने ही वचन प्रकाशन हो जाएंगे. तुमने जीवन्त परमेश्वर, सेनाओं के याहवेह हमारे परमेश्वर के संदेश को तोड़ मरोड़ दिया है.

For the birthun of the Lord schal no more be remembrid, and the word of ech man schal be birthun to hym; and ye han peruertid the wordis of lyuynge God, of the Lord of oostis, youre God.

37 उस भविष्यद्वक्ता से तुम यह प्रश्न करोगे: ‘क्या उत्तर दिया है याहवेह ने तुम्हें?’ तथा ‘याहवेह ने क्या कहा है?’

Thou schalt seie these thingis to the profete, What answeride the Lord to thee? and what spak the Lord?

38 क्योंकि यदि तुम कहोगे, ‘याहवेह का वह प्रकाशन,’ निश्चयतः यह याहवेह की बात है: इसलिये कि तुमने इस प्रकार कहा है, ‘याहवेह का वह प्रकाशन,’ मैंने भी तुम्हें यह संदेश भेजा है तुम यह नहीं कहोगे, ‘यह याहवेह का वह प्रकाशन है.’

Forsothe if ye seien, The birthin of the Lord, for this thing the Lord seith these thingis, For ye seiden this word, The birthun of the Lord, and Y sente to you, and Y seide, Nyle ye seie, The birthun of the Lord; therfor lo!

39 इसलिये ध्यान से सुनो, मैं निश्चयतः तुम्हें भूलना पसंद करके तुम्हें अपनी उपस्थिति से दूर कर दूंगा, इस नगर को भी जो मैंने तुम्हें एवं तुम्हारे पूर्वजों को प्रदान किया था.

Y schal take you awei, and schal bere, and Y schal forsake you, and the citee which Y yaf to you, and to youre fadris, fro my face.

40 मैं तुम्हारे साथ ऐसी चिरस्थायी लज्जा, ऐसी चिरस्थायी निंदा सम्बद्ध कर दूंगा जो अविस्मरणीय हो जाएगी.”

And Y schal yyue you in to euerlastynge schenschipe, and in to euerlastynge sclaundir, that schal neuere be doon awei bi foryetyng.
