यशायाह 63

1 कौन है वह जो एदोम के बोज़राह से चला आ रहा है, जो बैंगनी रंग के कपड़े पहने हुए हैं? जो बलवान और बहुत भड़कीला वस्त्र पहने हुए आ रहा है? “मैं वही हूं, जो नीति से बोलता, और उद्धार करने की शक्ति रखता हूं.”

Who [is] this coming from Edom? With dyed garments from Bozrah? This that is honorable in His clothing, Traveling in the abundance of His power? “I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.”

2 तुम्हारे वस्त्र लाल क्यों है, तुम्हारे वस्त्र हौद में दाख रौंदने वाले के समान क्यों है?

Why [is] Your clothing red? And Your garments as treading in a winepress?

3 “मैंने अकेले ही दाख को रौंदा; जनताओं से कोई भी मेरे साथ न था. अपने क्रोध में ही मैंने दाख रौंदा और उन्हें कुचल दिया था; उनके लहू का छींटा मेरे वस्त्रों पर पड़ा, और मेरे वस्त्र में दाग लग गया.

“I have trodden a wine vat by Myself, And of the peoples there is no one with Me, And I tread them in My anger, And I trample them in My fury, Their strength is sprinkled on My garments, And I have defiled all My clothing.

4 मेरे मन में बदला लेने का दिन निश्चय था; मेरी छुड़ाई हुई प्रजा का वर्ष आ गया है.

For the day of vengeance [is] in My heart, And the year of My redeemed has come.

5 मैंने ढूंढ़ा, तब कोई नहीं मिला सहायता के लिए, कोई संभालने वाला भी; तब मैंने अपने ही हाथों से उद्धार किया, और मेरी जलजलाहट ने ही मुझे संभाला.

And I look attentively, and there is none helping, And I am astonished that there is none supporting, And My own arm gives salvation to Me. And My wrath—it has supported Me.

6 मैंने अपने क्रोध में जनताओं को कुचल डाला; तथा अपने गुस्से में उन्हें मतवाला कर दिया और उनके लहू को भूमि पर बहा दिया.”

And I tread down peoples in My anger, And I make them drunk in My fury, And I bring down their strength to earth.”

7 जितनी दया याहवेह ने हम पर की, अर्थात् इस्राएल के घराने पर, दया और अत्यंत करुणा करके जितनी भलाई हम पर दिखाई— उन सबके कारण मैं याहवेह के करुणामय कामों का वर्णन और उसका गुण गाऊंगा.

I make mention of the kind acts of YHWH, The praises of YHWH, According to all that YHWH has done for us, And the abundance of the goodness to the house of Israel, That He has done for them, According to His mercies, And according to the abundance of His kind acts.

8 क्योंकि याहवेह ही ने उनसे कहा, “वे मेरी प्रजा हैं, वे धोखा न देंगे”; और वह उनका उद्धारकर्ता हो गए.

And He says, “Surely they [are] My people, Sons—they do not lie,” and He is to them for a Savior.

9 उनके संकट में उसने भी कष्ट उठाया, उनकी उपस्थिति के स्वर्गदूत ने ही उनका उद्धार किया. अपने प्रेम एवं अपनी कृपा से उन्होंने उन्हें छुड़ाया; और पहले से उन्हें उठाए रखा.

In all their distress [He is] no adversary, And the Messenger of His Presence saved them, In His love and in His pity He redeemed them, And He lifts them up, And carries them all the days of old.

10 तो भी उन्होंने विद्रोह किया और पवित्रात्मा को दुःखी किया. इस कारण वे उनके शत्रु हो गए और खुद उनसे लड़ने लगे.

And they have been rebellious and have grieved His Holy Spirit, And He turns to them for an enemy, He Himself has fought against them.

11 तब उनकी प्रजा को बीते दिन, अर्थात् मोशेह के दिन याद आए: कहां हैं वह, जिन्होंने उन्हें सागर पार करवाया था, जो उनकी भेड़ों को चरवाहे समेत पार करवाया? कहां हैं वह जिन्होंने अपना पवित्रात्मा उनके बीच में डाला,

And He remembers the days of old, Moses—his people. Where [is] He who is bringing them up from the sea, The shepherd of His flock? Where [is] He who is putting in its midst His Holy Spirit?

12 जिन्होंने अपने प्रतापी हाथों को मोशेह के दाएं हाथ में कर दिया, जिन्होंने सागर को दो भाग कर दिया, और अपना नाम सदा का कर दिया,

Leading by the right hand of Moses, the arm of His glory, Cleaving waters from before them, To make to Himself a continuous Name.

13 जो उन्हें सागर तल की गहराई पर से दूसरे पार ले गए? वे बिलकुल भी नहीं घबराए, जिस प्रकार मरुस्थल में घोड़े हैं;

Leading them through the depths, They do not stumble as a horse in a plain.

14 याहवेह के आत्मा ने उन्हें इस प्रकार शांति दी, जिस प्रकार पशु घाटी से उतरते हैं. आपने इस प्रकार अपनी प्रजा की अगुवाई की कि आपकी महिमा हो क्योंकि आप हमारे पिता हैं.

As a beast goes down into a valley, The Spirit of YHWH causes him to rest, So You have led Your people, To make to Yourself a glorious Name.

15 स्वर्ग से अपने पवित्र एवं वैभवशाली उन्‍नत निवास स्थान से नीचे देखिए. कहां है आपकी वह खुशी तथा आपके पराक्रम के काम? आपके दिल का उत्साह तथा आपकी कृपा मेरे प्रति अब नहीं रह गई.

Look attentively from the heavens, And see from Your holy and beautiful habitation, Where [is] Your zeal and Your might? The multitude of Your bowels and Your mercies—Are they restrained?

16 आप हमारे पिता हैं, यद्यपि अब्राहाम हमें नहीं जानता और इस्राएल भी हमें ग्रहण नहीं करता; तो भी, हे याहवेह, आप ही हमारे पिता हैं, हमारा छुड़ानेवाले हैं, प्राचीन काल से यही आपका नाम है.

For You [are] our Father, For Abraham has not known us, And Israel does not acknowledge us, You, O YHWH, [are] our Father, Our Redeemer from the Age, [is] Your Name.

17 हे याहवेह आपने क्यों हमें आपके मार्गों से भटक जाने के लिए छोड़ दिया हैं, आप क्यों हमारे दिल को कठोर हो जाने देते हैं कि हम आपका भय नहीं मानते? अपने दास के लिए लौट आइए, जो आप ही की निज प्रजा है.

Why cause us to wander, O YHWH, from Your ways? You harden our heart from Your fear, Turn back for Your servants’ sake, The tribes of Your inheritance.

18 आपका पवित्र स्थान आपके लोगों को कुछ समय के लिये ही मिला था, लेकिन हमारे शत्रुओं ने इसे रौंद डाला.

For a little while Your holy people possessed, Our adversaries have trodden down Your sanctuary.

19 अब तो हमारी स्थिति ऐसी हो गई है; मानो हम पर कभी आपका अधिकार था ही नहीं, और जो आपके नाम से कभी जाने ही नहीं गए थे.

We have been from of old, You have not ruled over them, Your Name is not called on them!
