यशायाह 62
1 ज़ियोन के हित में मैं चुप न रहूंगा, येरूशलेम के कल्याण के लिए मैं शांत न रहूंगा, जब तक कि उसकी धार्मिकता के समान, और उसका उद्धार जलते हुए पीतल के समान दिखाई न दे.
For Zion's sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.
2 तब अन्य जातियां, तेरा धर्म और सब राजा तेरी महिमा देखेंगे; और तेरा एक नया नाम रखा जायेगा जो याहवेह के मुंह से निकलेगा.
And the nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory. And thou shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of Jehovah shall name.
3 तुम याहवेह के हाथों में एक सुंदर मुकुट, तथा परमेश्वर की हथेली में राज मुकुट ठहरोगे.
Thou shall also be a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 इसके बाद तुम्हारी पहचान त्यागी हुई के रूप में न होगी, न ही तुम्हारा देश उजड़ा हुआ कहलायेगा. परंतु तुम हेप्सीबा, और तुम्हारी भूमि ब्यूला कहलाएगी; क्योंकि याहवेह तुमसे प्रसन्न है, और तुम्हारी भूमि अच्छी उपज उपजायेगी.
Thou shall no more be termed Forsaken, nor shall thy land any more be termed Desolate. But thou shall be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah, for Jehovah delights in thee, and thy land shall be married.
5 जिस प्रकार एक युवा कुंवारी कन्या से विवाह करता है, उसी प्रकार तुम्हारे निर्माण-कर्ता पुनः तुमसे विवाह करेंगे; जिस प्रकार वर के आनंद का विषय होती है वधू, उसी प्रकार तुम्हारे परमेश्वर तुम्हारे कारण आनंदित होंगे.
For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee. And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
6 हे येरूशलेम, मैंने तुम्हारी शहरपनाह पर स्वर्गदूत बिठाए हैं; सारी रात और दिन वे चुप न रहेंगे. हे याहवेह को स्मरण करनेवालो, चुप न रहो.
I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem. They shall never keep silent day nor night. Ye who are Jehovah's reminders, take ye no rest,
7 तुम याहवेह को चैन मत देना जब तक वे येरूशलेम को स्थिर करके उसे पृथ्वी की प्रशंसा पात्र न बना दें!
and give him no rest, till he establishes, and till he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8 याहवेह ने अपने दाएं हाथ: “तथा बलवंत हाथ की शपथ ली है: निश्चय अब मैं कभी भी तुम्हारी उपज को तुम्हारे शत्रुओं का भोजन न होने दूंगा, न ही मैं तुम्हारे मेहनत से लगाये दाखरस को परदेशियों को खाने दूंगा;
Jehovah has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy grain to be food for thine enemies, and foreigners shall not drink thy new wine, for which thou have labored.
9 किंतु वे जो इसे जमा करेंगे वे इसे खाकर याहवेह की स्तुति करेंगे, और जिन्होंने दाखमधु भंडार में रखा हो वे ही उसके पवित्र स्थान के आंगनों में पायेंगे.”
But those who have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Jehovah. And those who have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.
10 सब फाटकों से होकर निकलो! लोगों के लिए मार्ग सीधा करो. राजमार्ग को बनाओ! सभी पत्थर मार्ग से हटाकर. लोगों के लिए झंडा ऊंचा करो.
Go through, go through the gates. Prepare ye the way of the people. Cast up, cast up the highway. Gather out the stones. Lift up an ensign for the peoples.
11 देखो, याहवेह ने पृथ्वी की छोर तक इस आज्ञा का प्रचार किया है: “ज़ियोन की बेटी से कहो, ‘देख, तेरा उद्धारकर्ता आया है! और मजदूरी उसके पास है, तथा उनका प्रतिफल उन्हें देगा.’”
Behold, Jehovah has proclaimed to the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation comes. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.
12 वे उन्हें पवित्र प्रजा, और याहवेह के छुड़ाए हुए कहेंगे, और तेरा नाम गृहण की हुई, अर्थात् न त्यागी गई नगरी पड़ेगा.
And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah. And thou shall be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.
