यशायाह 6
1 यशायाह का दर्शन है उस वर्ष जब राजा उज्जियाह की मृत्यु हुई, उस वर्ष मैंने प्रभु को ऊंचे सिंहासन पर बैठे देखा, उनके वस्त्र से मंदिर ढंक गया है.
And it came to pass in the year in which king Ozias died, [that] I saw the Lord sitting on a high and exalted throne, and the house was full of his glory.
2 और उनके ऊपर स्वर्गदूत दिखाई दिए जिनके छः-छः पंख थे: सबने दो पंखों से अपना मुंह ढंक रखा था, दो से अपने पैर और दो से उड़ रहे थे.
And seraphs stood round about him: each one had six wings: and with two they covered [their] face, and with two they covered [their] feet, and with two they flew.
3 वे एक दूसरे से इस प्रकार कह रहे थे: “पवित्र, पवित्र, पवित्र हैं सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह; सारी पृथ्वी उनके तेज से भरी है.”
And one cried to the other, and they said, Holy, holy, holy [is the] Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4 उनकी आवाज से द्वार के कक्ष हिल गए और भवन धुएं से भरा हुआ हो गया.
And the lintel shook at the voice they uttered, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 तब मैंने कहा, “हाय मुझ पर! क्योंकि मैं नष्ट हो गया हूं! मैं एक ऐसा व्यक्ति हूं, जिसके होंठ अशुद्ध हैं और मैं उन व्यक्तियों के बीच रहता हूं जिनके होंठ अशुद्ध हैं; क्योंकि मैंने अपनी आंखों से महाराजाधिराज, सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह को देख लिया है.”
And I said, Woe is me, for I am pricked to the heart; for being a man, and having unclean lips, I dwell in the midst of a people having unclean lips; and I have seen with mine eyes the King, the Lord of hosts.
6 तब एक स्वर्गदूत उड़कर मेरी ओर आया और उसके हाथ में अंगारा था, जिसे उसने चिमटे से वेदी पर से उठाया था.
And there was sent to me one of the seraphs, and he had in his hand a coal, which he had taken off the altar with the tongs:
7 उसने इस अंगारे से मेरे मुंह पर छूते हुए कहा, “देखो, तुम्हारे होंठों से अधर्म दूर कर दिया और तुम्हारे पापों को क्षमा कर दिया गया है.”
and he touched my mouth, and said, Behold, this has touched your lips, and will take away your iniquities, and will purge off your sins.
8 तब मैंने प्रभु को यह कहते हुए सुना, “मैं किसे भेजूं और कौन जाएगा हमारे लिए?” तब मैंने कहा, “मैं यहां हूं. मुझे भेजिए!”
And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go to this people? And I said, behold, I am [here], send me. And he said, Go, and say to this people,
9 प्रभु ने कहा, “जाओ और इन लोगों से कहो: “‘सुनते रहो किंतु समझो मत; देखते रहो किंतु ग्रहण मत करो.’
You shall hear indeed, but you shall not understand; and you shall see indeed, but you shall not perceive.
10 इन लोगों के हृदय कठोर; कान बहरे और आंख से अंधे हैं. कहीं ऐसा न हो कि वे अपनी आंखों से देखकर, अपने कानों से सुनकर, और मन फिराकर मेरे पास आएं, और चंगे हो जाएं.”
For the heart of this people has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
11 तब मैंने पूछा, “कब तक, प्रभु, कब तक?” प्रभु ने कहा: “जब तक नगर सूना न हो जाए और कोई न बचे, और पूरा देश सुनसान न हो जाएं,
And I said, How long, O Lord? And he said, Until cities be deserted by reason of their not being inhabited, and the houses by reason of there being no men, and the land shall be left desolate.
12 याहवेह लोगों को दूर ले जाएं और देश में कई जगह निर्जन हो जाएं.
And after this God shall remove the men far off, and they that are left upon the land shall be multiplied.
13 फिर इसमें लोगों का दसवां भाग रह जाए, तो उसे भी नष्ट किया जाएगा. जैसे बांझ वृक्ष को काटने के बाद भी ठूंठ बच जाता है, उसी प्रकार सब नष्ट होने के बाद, जो ठूंठ समान बच जाएगा, वह पवित्र बीज होगा.”
And yet there shall be a tenth upon it, and again it shall be for a spoil, as a turpentine tree, and as an acorn when it falls out of its husk.
